The Neoarchean bundelkhand greenstone sequences at Mauranipur and babina areas within the bundelkhand Gneissic Complex preserve a variety of magmatic rocks such as komatiitic basalts, basalts,felsic volcanic rocks and high-Mg andesites belonging to the baragaon, Raspahari and Koti *** intrusive and extrusive komatiitic basalts are characterized by low SiO_2(39-53 wt.%), high MgO(18-25 wt.%).moderately high Fe_2O_3(7.1-11.6 wt.%), Al_2O_3(4.5-12.0 wt.%), and TiO_2(0.4-1.23 wt.%)with super to subchondritic(Gd/Yb)N ratios indicating garnet control on the melts. The intrusive komatiitic suite of Ti-enriched and Al-depleted type possesses predominant negative Eu and positive Nb, Ti and Y anomalies. The chemical composition of basalts classifies them into three types with varying SiO_2, TiO_2, MgO, Fe_2O_3, Al_2O_3 and CaO. At similar SiO_2 content of type Ⅰ and Ⅲ basalts, the type II basalts show slightly high Al_2O_3 and Fe_2O_3 contents. Significant negative anomalies of Nb, Zr, Hf and Ti, slightly enriched LREE with relatively flat HREE and low ∑REE contents are observed in type Ⅰ and Ⅱ basalts. TypeⅢ basalts show high Zr/Nb ratios(9.8-10.4), TiO_2(1.97-2.04 wt.%), but possess strikingly flat Zr, Hf, Y and Yb and are uncontaminated. Andesites from Agar and Koti have high SiO_2(55-64 wt.%), moderate TiO_2(0.4-0.7 wt.%), slightly low Al_2O_3(7-11.9 wt.%), medium to high MgO(3-8 wt.%) and CaO contents(10-17 wt.%). Anomalously high Cr, Co and Ni contents are observed in the Koti rhyolites. Tholeiitic to calc alkaline affinity of mafic-felsic volcanic rocks and basalt-andesite dacite-rhyolite differentiation indicate a mature arc and thickened crust during the advanced stage of the evolution of Neoarchean bundelkhand greenstone belt in a convergent tectonic setting where the melts were derived from partial melting of thick basaltic crust metamorphosed to amphibolite-eclogite facies. The heat transfer through a concave permeable fin is analyzed by the local thermal non-equilibrium(LTNE)*** governing dimensional temperature equations for the solid and fluid phases of the porous extended surface are modeled,and then are nondimensionalized by suitable dimensionless ***,the obtained nondimensional equations are solved by the clique polynomial method(CPM).The effects of several dimensionless parameters on the fin's thermal profiles are shown by graphical ***,the current study implements deep neural structures to solve physics-governed coupled equations,and the best-suited hyperparameters are attained by comparison with various network *** results of the CPM and physicsinformed neural network(PINN)exhibit good agreement,signifying that both methods effectively solve the thermal modeling problem.

Assay method for quality control and stability studies of a new antimalarial agent (CDRI 99/411)

CDRI compound no. 99/411 is a potent 1,2,4-trioxane antimalarial candidate drug under development at our Institute. An HPLC method for determination of CDRI 99/411 with its starting material and intermediates has been developed and validated for in process quality control and stability studies. The analytical performance parameters such as linearity, precision, accuracy, specificity, limit of detection （LOD） and lower limit of quantification （LLOQ） were determined according to International Conference on Harmonization ICH Q2（R1） guidelines. HPLC separation was achieved on a RP-select b Lichrosphere~ column （250 mm x 4 ram, 5 lam, Merck） using water containing 0.1% glacial acetic acid and acetonitrile as the mobile phase in a gradient elution. The eluents were monitored by a photo diode array detector at 245 and 275 nm. based on signal to noise ratio of 3 and 10 the LOD of CDRI 99/411 was 0.55 μg/mL, while the LLOQ was 1.05 μg/mL. The calibration curves were linear in the range of 1.05- 68 μg/mL. Precision of the method was determined by inter- and intra-assay variations within the acceptable range.

Mixing and Segregation Characteristics of binary Granular Material in Tapered Fluidized bed: A CFD Study

The particle flow pattern, mixing and granule segregation in a tapered fluidized bed have been studied along with the hydrodynamics. At first the bed of varying total mass and granule fractions is fluidized then the bed is defluidized to freeze the composition, the bed is sectioned to layers and the composition in each layer is determined by sieving. Materials used in the present study are dolomite and glass beads with different b.S.S Sizes. A series of unsteady, three fluid CFD simulations were performed using FLUENTTM 6.2. Simulation parameters viz. solution technique, grid, maximum packing fraction and operating conditions like gas velocity were investigated for relative effects on particle mixing and segregation. Good arrangement of solid volume fraction profile was obtained between the experimental results and simulation results for regular particles.

Structural, electronic, and mechanical properties of cubic TiO_2:A first-principles study

We present an analysis of structural, electronic, and mechanical properties of cubic titanium dioxide （TiO2） using an all electron orthogonalzed linear combinations of atomic orbitals （OLCAO） basis set under the framework of density functional theory （DFT）. The structural property, especially the lattice constant a, and the electronic properties such as the band diagram and density of states （DOS） are studied and analyzed. The mechanical properties such as bulk moduli, shear moduli, Young＇s Moduli, and Poison＇s ratio are also investigated thoroughly. The calculations are carried out on shear moduli and anisotropy factor for cubic TiO2. The Vickers hardness is also tested for fluorite and pyrite cubic-structured TiO2. Furthermore, the results are compared with the previous theoretical and experimental results. It is found that DFT- based simulation produces results which are approximation to experimental results, whereas the calculated elastic constants are better than the previous theoretical and experimental values.

Electronic and magnetic structures of iron selenide compounds Ce2O2FeSe2 （2212＊） and baFe2Se3 （123＊） are studied by the first-principles calculations. We find that while all these compounds are composed of one-dimensional （1D） Fe chain （or ladder） structures, their electronic structures are not close to be quasi-lD. The magnetic exchange couplings between two nearest-neighbor （NN） chains in 2212＊ and between two NN two-leg-ladders in 123＊ are both antiferromagnetic （AFM）, which is consistent with the presence of significant third NN AFM coupling, a common feature shared in other iron-chalcogenides, FeTe （11＊） and KyFe2-xSe2 （122＊）. In magnetic ground states, each Fe chain of 2212＊ is ferromagnetic and each two-leg ladder of 123＊ form a block-AFM structure. We suggest that all magnetic structures in iron-selenide compounds can be unified into an extended J1-J2-J3 model. Spin-wave excitations of the model are calculated and can be tested by future experiments on these two systems.

Microwave Preparation of SiO2-b2O3-Na2O-K2O-CaO-Fe2O3-TiO2 Glass System

This study reports preparation of glass composition （54.50 wt.%） SiO2, （10.80 wt.%） b2O3, （14.20 wt.%） Na2O, （1.20 wt.%） K2O, （6.00 wt.%） CaO, （4.00 wt.%） Fe2O3 and （9.30 wt.%） TiO2 by melt quenching method using direct microwave heating and conventional resistive heating. Study of dielectric loss factor of the glass as function of temperature illustrated increasing loss factor above 370 ℃, 550 ℃, 650 ℃ and 900 ℃, indicating enhanced microwave absorption by the glass at above these temperatures. Chemical analysis results of both the glasses depicted more volatilization loss of volatile ingredients in conventional heating. The study of chemical durability was performed from leachate analysis describing less leaching of Na2O, K2O and other constituents from glass melted in microwave furnace. Glass transition temperatures （Tg） were found to be 576.3 ℃ and 569.5 ℃ for glass melted in conventional and microwave heating route, respectively. Laboratory experiment of glass melting utilizing microwave energy as an alternate heating source demonstrated 70%-75% electrical power saving.
