The multi-class classification of images is a pivotal challenge within the realm of image processing. As the volume of visual data continues to expand, there is a burgeoning interest in harnessing the unique capabilities of quantum computation to augment the efficiency of classification tasks. However, many existing methods for training quantum image multi-classifiers parallel classical machine learning techniques, where the requisite circuit measurements increase linearly with the volume of training data. This work introduces a novel approach for training a quantum image multi-classifier based on the quantum search algorithm. We have meticulously conducted rigorous experiments on a handwritten digit dataset, a classic benchmark in the field. The results have been meticulously compared with previous works, and the comparative analysis not only validates the efficiency of our proposed approach, requiring only O(N/b) measurements during training, but also highlights a significant quadratic speedup of the algorithm.

An aluminide（AlFe and α-（FeAl）） surface layer containing lower-Al was formed on ferritic-martensitic steel P92 by means of surface mechanical attrition treatment（SMAT） combined with a duplex aluminization process at lower temperatures,i.e.a packed aluminization followed by a diffusion annealing treatment below its tempering *** tests indicated that the lower-Al surface layer formed on the SMAT sample is more resistant to cracking and has better adhesion to the substrate in comparison with the Al 5Fe 2 layer formed on the as-received sample after the duplex aluminization *** steam oxidation measurements showed that the oxidation resistance is increased significantly by the lower-Al surface layer due to the formation of a protective（Fe,Cr）Al 2O 4 *** rate constant of oxidation was estimated to decrease from-0.849 mg^2 cm^-4h^-1 of the as-received material to^0.011 mg^2 cm^-4 h^-1 of the AlFe layer at 700 ℃.

Nanolaminated structures composed of low-angle grain boundaries(LAGbs) possess high thermal stability. In this paper, a gradient nanolaminated(GNL) surface layer with smooth finish was fabricated on an interstitial-free steel by means of surface mechanical rolling treatment. Microstructural observations demonstrated that the average lamellar thickness is about 80 nm in the topmost surface layer and increases with increasing depth. High thermal stability was confirmed in the GNL surface layer after annealing at 500℃. Diffusion measurements showed that effective diffusivity of Cr in GNL layer is 4–6 orders of magnitude higher than lattice diffusivity within the temperature range from 400 to 500℃. This might be attributed to numerous LAGbs or dislocation structures with a higher energy state in the GNL surface layer. This work demonstrates the possibility to advanced chromizing(or other surface alloying)processes of steels with formation of GNL surface layer, so that a thicker alloyed surface layer with a stable nanostructure is achieved.

Several promising plasma biomarker proteins,such as amyloid-β(Aβ),tau,neurofilament light chain,and glial fibrillary acidic protein,are widely used for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative ***,little is known about the long-term stability of these biomarker proteins in plasma samples stored at-80°*** aimed to explore how storage time would affect the diagnostic accuracy of these biomarkers using a large *** samples from 229 cognitively unimpaired individuals,encompassing healthy controls and those experiencing subjective cognitive decline,as well as 99 patients with cognitive impairment,comprising those with mild cognitive impairment and dementia,were acquired from the Sino Longitudinal Study on Cognitive Decline *** samples were stored at-80°C for up to 6 years before being used in this *** results showed that plasma levels of Aβ42,Aβ40,neurofilament light chain,and glial fibrillary acidic protein were not significantly correlated with sample storage ***,the level of total tau showed a negative correlation with sample storage ***,in individuals without cognitive impairment,plasma levels of total protein and tau phosphorylated protein threonine 181(p-tau181)also showed a negative correlation with sample storage *** was not observed in individuals with cognitive ***,we speculate that the diagnostic accuracy of plasma p-tau181 and the p-tau181 to total tau ratio may be influenced by sample storage ***,caution is advised when using these plasma biomarkers for the identification of neurodegenerative diseases,such as Alzheimer's ***,in cohort studies,it is important to consider the impact of storage time on the overall results.

based on the relief of interfacial energy density by dislocation generation at the gamma - gamma ' interfaces, a rafting prediction criterion has been developed for nickel-base single crystals under multiaxial stresses. The diagrams of rafting have been presented, and confirmed by experimental results. The rafting process have been analyzed quantitatively by the relief of interfacial energy. The criterion has been applied to study the creep behavior. The example of creep life analysis shows that the criterion can be correlated greatly to the crystallographic orientation dependence of creep behavior. (Author abstract) 11 Refs.

We study phase behaviors of mixtures comprising active particles with and without active reorientation by varying mixing *** observe that the order parameter characterizing flocking in the steady state exhibits a linear decrease with an increase in mixing *** the order parameter characterizing clustering in the steady state presents a sharp leap as the mixing ratio ***,we obtain phase diagrams of flocking under different mixing ratios and observe that the domain corresponding to flocking experiences a contraction with the increase of mixing ***,the coordinates of the critical point on the phase boundary between the flocking and the disordered phase decay exponentially with the mixing ratio.

NiTi-based shape memory alloys(SMAs)are considered as cutting-edge intelligent functional ***,it remains a great challenge to obtain ultrafine-grained(UFGed)bulk materials with mm-scale size as well as outstanding superelastic ***,UFGed bulk Ti_(35)zr_(15)Ni_(35)Cu_(15)NiTi-based SMA is successfully prepared via spark plasma sintering of amorphous ribbon precursor at different sintering temperatures,and microstructural evolution and superelastic properties are symmetrically *** is found that its grain size ranges from UFG to micro-grain with increased sintering temperature regard-less of the predominant b2 matrix in all bulk ***,the orientation relationships between b2 matrix and nano-scale fcc(Ti,zr)_(2)Ni precipitate evolve from coherent to ***,the UFGed samples exhibit perfect superelasticity with the high recoverable strain of∼5.8%,the stable recov-ery rate above 99%,and the great critical stress inducing martensitic transformation higher than 1 GPa,far superior to the corresponding ones of suction-cast micro-grained TizrNiCu ***,the perfect superelasticity is attributed to the good resistance to dislocation slip or grain boundary slip by residual nano-scale amorphous phase or secondary phase of coherent and semi-coherent fcc(Ti,zr)_(2)Ni *** addition,the gentle superelastic plateau is associated to the favorable transfer stress and the strong ability to accommodate dislocation movement,which is generated by the coherent interface between nano-scale fcc(Ti,zr)_(2)Ni and UFGed b2 *** results suggest that spark plasma sintering of amorphous alloy precursor is a feasible route to obtaining excellent superelasticity in NiTi-based SMAs.

The microstructure in the surface layer of iron and steel samples can be refined at the nanometer scale by means of a surface mechanical attrition treatment (SMAT) that generates repetitive severe plastic deformation to the surface layer. The subsequent nitriding kinetics of the as-treated samples with the nanostructured surface layer is greatly enhanced so that the nitriding temperatures can be reduce to 300 - 400 °C regions. This enhanced processing method demonstrates both the technological significance of nanomaterials in advancing the traditional processing techniques, and provides a new approach for selective surface reactions in solids. This article reviews the present state of the art in this field. The microstructure and properties of SMAT samples nitrided will be summarized. Further considerations of the development and applications of this new technique will also be presented.

Microglia,the resident monocyte of the central nervous system,play a crucial role in the response to spinal cord ***,the precise mechanism remains *** investigate the molecular mechanisms by which microglia regulate the neuroinflammatory response to spinal cord injury,we performed single-cell RNA sequencing dataset analysis,focusing on changes in microglial *** found that the MG1 subpopulation emerged in the acute/subacute phase of spinal cord injury and expressed genes related to cell pyroptosis,sphingomyelin metabolism,and neuroinflammation at high ***,we established a mouse model of contusive injury and performed intrathecal injection of siRNA and molecular inhibitors to validate the role of ceramide synthase 5 in the neuroinflammatory responses and pyroptosis after spinal cord ***,we established a PC12-bV2 cell co-culture system and found that ceramide synthase 5 and pyroptosis-associated proteins were highly expressed to induce the apoptosis of neuron *** ceramide synthase 5 expression in a mouse model of spinal cord injury effectively reduced ***,ceramide synthase 5-induced pyroptosis was dependent on activation of the NLRP3 signaling *** ceramide synthase 5 expression in microglia in vivo reduced neuronal apoptosis and promoted recovery of neurological ***2g7 formed a“bridge”between sphingolipid metabolism and ceramide synthase 5-mediated cell death by inhibiting the NLRP3 signaling ***,these findings suggest that inhibiting ceramide synthase 5 expression in microglia after spinal cord injury effectively suppressed microglial pyroptosis mediated by NLRP3,thereby exerting neuroprotective effects.
