The contamination of antibiotics in aqueous environment causes increasing concerns *** activation of peroxydisulfate(PDS)has been demonstrated as an efficient technology for re moval of contamination in ***,a hollow sphere of CuWO_(4)(h-CuWO_(4))was employed as a visible lightactivated photocatalyst for the activation of PDS,and following with high removal efficiency(98%)of antibiotic sulfamethoxazole(SMx).Under visible light irradiation,the degradation rate on hollow structures system is nearly 2 times higher than the traditional solid CuWO_(4) ***,the underlying mechanism and detailed pathway of SMx degradation were proposed based on density functional theory(DFT)calculations and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS).This work provides a new feasible way for advanced oxidation processes to remove antibiotics SMx in heterogeneous system,and open up new application possibilities of CuWO_(4)-based materials.

Ta5+doped β-Ga2O3 single crystals were grown by using the optical floating zone method, and then annealed in the air and nitrogen gas at 1400℃ for 20 *** transmittance spectra, photoluminescence(PL), x-ray irradiation spectra, and PL decay profiles of the samples were measured at room *** relevant results show that the optical transmittance of the samples annealed in the air or nitrogen gas was *** drawing the(ahv)2–hv graph,it can be seen that the band gap decreased after being annealed in the air, but increased in nitrogen *** PL spectra and x-ray irradiation spectra show that the luminescent intensity of the sample annealed in the air increased substantially,while decreased for the sample annealed in *** PL decay time of the Ta:β-Ga2O3 annealed in the air increased significantly compared with that of the Ta:β-Ga2O3 sample without annealing, but the tendency after annealing in nitrogen gas was opposite.

A new dibenzylbutyrolactone lignan named matairesinol 4'-O-β-D-cellobioside(1),together with a known compound(7R,85)-dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol(2)was isolated from Caulis *** extract of Caulis Trachelospermi,which was separated by 80% alcohol extraction and subsequent HP-20 macroporous resin column chromatography,and its main components trachelogenin(3),nortrachelogenin(4),matairesinol(5)showed moderate inhibiting activities on NF-κb signaling pathway induced by TNFα,with the IC_(50) values of 17.7μg/mL,17.9μM,49.4μM and 29.1μM,respectively.

Nitrate(NO_(3)^(−))electroreduction reaction(NO_(3)^(−)RR)provides an attractive and sustainable route for NO_(3)^(−)pollution mitigation or energy-saved ammonia(NH3)*** this work,high-quality b and Fe co-doped Co_(2) P hollow nanocubes(b/Fe-Co_(2) P HNCs)are successfully synthesized though simultaneous boronation-phosphorization treatment,which reveal outstanding selectivity,activity,stability for the NO_(3)^(−)to NH_(3) conversion in neutral electrolyte because of big surface area,fast mass transport,superhydrophilic surface,and optimized electronic structure.b/Fe-Co_(2) P HNCs can achieve the high NH3 yield rate(22.67 mg h^(−1) mg_(cat)^(−1))as well as Faradaic efficiency(97.54%)for NO_(3)^(−)RR,greatly outperforming most of non-precious metal based NO_(3)^(−)RR electrocatalysts.

China has become the largest film market outside Hollywood. The new millennium has witnessed manifold changes in this arena： the record-breaking box office boom; the fast-growing number of screens and multiplex theaters; the decreasing average age of moviegoers; the constant transmedial movement from online fiction to film and other popular media products; the proliferation of video streaming websites; and the widespread use of digital technologies and portable screens in various sizes （including laptops, tablets, smartphones, iPods）. All of these have dramatically changed the viewing platforms, habits, patterns, and pleasures of the younger generation of film audiences, which in turn has shaped the means of film production, distribution, and exhibition.

Electron–electron correlation plays an important role in the underlying dynamics in physics and *** is the simplest and most fundamental two-electron *** dynamic process of helium in a strong laser field is still a challenging issue because of the large calculation *** this study,a graphic processing unit(GPU)open ACC based ab initio numerical simulations package He TDSE is developed to solve the full-dimensional time-dependent Schrodinger equation of helium subjected to a strong laser *** TDSE uses b-spline basis sets expansion method to construct the radial part of the wavefunction,and the spherical harmonic functions is used to express for the angular *** algorithm is employed for the time *** example shows that He TDSE running on an NVIDIA Kepler K20 GPU can outperform the one on an Intel E5-2640 single CPU core by a factor of *** TDSE code package can be obtained from the author or from the author's personal website(doi:10.13140/RG.2.2.15334.45128)directly under the GPL license,so He TDSE can be downloaded,used and modified freely.

MicroRNAs(miRNAs), small non-coding RNAs, are involved in many aspects of biological processes. Previous studies have indicated that mi RNAs are important for hair follicle development and growth. In our study, we found by q RT-PCR that miR-148 b was signi ficantly upregulated in sheep wool follicle bulbs in anagen phase compared with the telogen phase of the hair follicle cycle. Overexpression of miR-148 b promoted proliferation of both HHDPC and HHGMC. by using the TOPFlash system we demonstrated that miR-148 b could activate Wnt/β-catenin pathway and b-catenin, cyc D, c-jun and PPARD were consistently upregulated ***, transcript factor nuclear factor of activated T cells type 5(NFAT5) and Wnt10 b were predicted to be the target of mi R-148 b and this was substantiated using a Dual-Luciferase reporter system. Subsequently NFAT5 was further identi fied as the target of mi R-148 b using western blotting. These results were considered to indicate that mi R-148 b could activate the Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway by targeting NFAT5 to promote the proliferation of human hair follicle cells.

We consider the estimation of causal treatment effect using nonparametric regression orinverse propensity weighting together with sufficient dimension reduction for searching lowdimensional covariate subsets. A special case of this problem is the estimation of a responseeffect with data having ignorable missing response values. An issue that is not well addressedin the literature is whether the estimation of the low-dimensional covariate subsets by sufficient dimension reduction has an impact on the asymptotic variance of the resulting causaleffect estimator. With some incorrect or inaccurate statements, many researchers believe thatthe estimation of the low-dimensional covariate subsets by sufficient dimension reduction doesnot affect the asymptotic variance. We rigorously establish a result showing that this is nottrue unless the low-dimensional covariate subsets include some covariates superfluous for estimation, and including such covariates loses efficiency. Our theory is supplemented by somesimulation results.

Comprehensive Summary The development of switchable solvent-free multicomponent reactions to build high-value-added products is an important demand for organic ***,we detailed the successful implementation of a switchable strategy for the construction of diverse 4-fluoroalkyl-1,4-dihydropyrimidines and 4-fluoroalkyl-pyrimidines via a solvent/additive-free[3+2+1]annulation,starting from readily available enamines,trifluoroacetaldehyde hydrate or 1-ethoxy-2,2-difluoroethanol and amidines *** reaction conforms to the concept of green synthesis,and provides a new avenue to access valuable fluorinated heterocycles.
