Compressive property and energy absorption characteristic of interconnected porous Mg-Zn-Y alloys with adjusting Y addition

In this study,interconnected porous Mg-2Zn-xY alloys with different phase compositions were prepared by various Y additions(x=0.4,3,and 6 wt.%)to adjust the compressive properties and energy absorption *** characterization methods were then applied to identify the microstructure of the porous Mg-Zn-Y and describe the details of the second *** tests were performed at room temperature(RT),200℃,and 300℃to study the impact of the Y addition and testing temperature on the compressive properties of the porous *** experimental results showed that a high Y content promotes a microstructure refinement and increases the volume fraction of the second *** the Y content increases,different Mg-Zn-Y ternary phases appear:I-phase(Mg_(3)Zn_(6)Y),w-phase(Mg_(3)Zn_(3)Y_(2)),and LPSO phase(Mg_(12)ZnY).when the Y content ranges between 0.4%and 6%,the compressive strength increases from 6.30MPa to 9.23 MPa,and the energy absorption capacity increases from 7.33 Mj/m^(3)to 10.97 Mj/m^(3)at RT,which is mainly attributed to the phase composition and volume fraction of the second ***,the average energy absorption efficiency is independent of the Y *** addition,the compressive deformation behaviors of the porous Mg-Zn-Y are altered by the testing *** compressive strength and energy absorption capacity of the porous Mg-Zn-Y decrease due to the softening effect of the high temperature on the *** deformation behaviors at different temperatures are finally observed to reflect the failure mechanisms of the struts.

In situ inflow and outflow permeability tests with the bAT probe at SarapuíII soft clay test site are presented.A description of the bAT permeability test is provided,discussing its advantages and shortcomings,especially in the case of very soft clays under low *** pressures were monitored during probe installation and were found to be slightly lower than piezocone u2 pore pressures,consistent with the position of the *** role of filter tip saturation was investigated after the usual saturation procedure provided an unsatisfactory pore pressure response during probe *** show that the vacuum saturation procedure provides adequate response during installation and increases the reliability of the coefficient of permeability determination in early *** inflow and outflow tests yielded similar results,indicating that careful execution of the test can lead to good test repeatability regardless of the loading *** sequences of alternated inflow and outflow tests have yielded similar results,indicating that soil reconsolidation and filter clogging were negligible in the tests *** are presented concerning the relationship between index parameters and the in situ coefficient of permeability for SarapuíII clay,which plot outside the range of existing databases.

Rescattering of stimulated Raman side scattering(SRSS)is observed for the first time via two-dimensional(2D)particle-in-cell(PIC)*** construct a theoretical model for the rescattering process,which can predict the region of occurrence of mth-order SRSS and estimate its *** rescattering process is identified by the 2D PIC simulations under typical conditions of a direct-drive inertial confinement fusion *** electrons produced by second-order SRSS propagate nearly perpendicular to the density gradient and gain nearly the same energy as in first-order SRSS,but there is no cascade acceleration to produce superhot *** studies for a wide range of ignition conditions show that SRSS and associated rescatterings are robust and important processes in inertial confinement fusion.

Role of inflammatory lipid and fatty acid metabolic abnormalities induced by plastic additives exposure in childhood asthma

Lipid metabolism play an essential role in occurrence and development of asthma,and it can be disturbed by phthalate esters(PAEs)and organophosphate fame retardants(OPFRs).As a chronic infammatory respiratory disease,the occurrence risk of childhood asthma is increased by PAEs and OPFRs exposure,but it remains not entirely clear how PAEs and OPFRs contribute the onset and progress of the *** have profiled the serum levels of PAEs and OPFRs congeners by liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry,and its relationships with the dysregulation of lipid metabolism in asthmatic,bronchitic(acute infammation)and healthy(non-infammation)*** PAEs and nine OPFRs congeners were found in the serum of children(1–5 years old)from Shenzhen,and their total median levels were 615.16 ng/m L and 17.06 ng/m L,***,the serum levels of mono-methyl phthalate(MMP),tri-propyl phosphate(TPP)and tri-n-butyl phosphate(TNbP)were significant higher in asthmatic children than in healthy and bronchitic children as ***-one characteristic lipids and fatty acids of asthma were screened by machine-learning random forest model based on serum lipidome data,and the alterations of infammatory characteristic lipids and fatty acids including palmitic acids,12,13-Di HODE,14,21-Di HDHA,prostaglandin D2 and Lyso PA(18:2)showed significant correlated with high serum levels of MMP,TPP and *** results imply PAEs and OPFRs promote the occurrence of childhood asthma via disrupting infammatory lipid and fatty acid metabolism,and provide a novel sight for better understanding the effects of plastic additives on childhood asthma.

MicroRNAs(miRNAs)play a significant role in axon regeneration following spinal cord ***,the functions of numerous miRNAs in axon regeneration within the central nervous system(CNS)remain largely ***,we elucidate the positive role of microRNA-2184(miR-2184)in axon regeneration within zebrafish Mauthner cells(M-cells).The upregulation of miR-2184 in a single M-cell can facilitate axon regeneration,while the specific sponge-induced silencing of miR-2184 leads to impeded *** show that syt3,a downstream target of miR-2184,negatively regulates axon regeneration,and the regeneration suppression modulated by syt3 depends on its binding to Ca2+.Furthermore,pharmacological stimulation of the cAMP/PKA pathway suggests that changes in the readily releasable pool may affect axon *** data indicate that miR-2184 promotes axon regeneration of M-cells within the CNS by modulating the downstream target syt3,providing valuable insights into potential therapeutic strategies.

Functional materials with multiple properties are urgent to be explored to reach high requirements for applications *** this work,a new multifunctional one-dimensional(1D)chain compound[N(C_(3)H_(7))_(4)][Cu(ohpma)]·H_(2)O 1(ohpma=deprotonated N-(2-hydoxyphenyl)oxamic acid)exhibiting both 1D antiferromagnetic and nonlinear optical properties,which are both originated from the same polar[Cu(C_(8)H_(4)NO_(4))]magnetic units,has been successfully synthesized by evaporation at room ***-polydentate nature of the(ohpma)3−ligand with constrained tridentate and bidentate coordination sites conducts Cu^(2+)ions coordinating in different geometries and forms 1D chains along the c axis,which are further separated by the[N(C_(3)H_(7))_(4)]+*** the 1D magnetic chains further exhibit noncentrosymmetric polar *** optical study shows polar compound 1 exhibits a discernible second-harmonic generation(SHG)efficiency and the calculation of the partial density of states indicates that the SHG efficiency of 1 is mainly originated from the polar[Cu(C_(8)H_(4)NO_(4))]magnetic ***,magnetic susceptibility shows a broad maximum around 70 K with strong intrachain interaction of j/k b=−113.0 K but no long-range order is observed down to 2 K,suggesting that 1 shows a good 1D *** good 1D magnetism and SHG activity suggest that 1 could be as a potential multifunctional material,particularly.

The oyster mushroom(Pleurotus spp.)is one of the most widely cultivated mushroom species *** present study investigated the effect of synbiotics on the growth and quality of Pleurotus ostreatus and Pleurotus *** synbiotics formulations were applied by spraying mushroom samples daily and measuring their growth parameters,yield,biological efficiency,proximate composition,mineral content,total phenolic content(TPC),and diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl(DPPH)radical scavenging *** demonstrated that the most significant yield of oyster mushrooms was harvested from synbiotics sprayed with inulin and Lactobacillus casei(56.92 g).Likewise,the highest biological efficiency obtained with a similar synbiotic was 12.65%.Combining inulin and *** was the most effective method of improving the mushrooms'growth performance and nutrient content in both ***,synbiotics that combined inulin and *** resulted in the highest TPC(20.550 mg gallic acid equivalent(GAE)/g dry extract(DE))in white oyster mushrooms(***).In comparison,in grey mushroom(***)the highest TPC was yielded by ***(1.098 mg GAE/g DE)followed by inulin and ***(1.079 mg GAE/g DE).The DPPH results indicated that the oyster mushroom could be an efficient *** results revealed that applying synbiotics improved the mushrooms'quality by increasing their antioxidant capacity with higher amounts of phenolic compounds and offering better health benefits with the increased levels of mineral ***,these studies demonstrated the potential of using synbiotics as a biofertilizer,which is helpful for mushroom cultivation;therefore,it might solve the challenge of inconsistent quality mushroom growers face.
