Atmospheric oxidation capacity and O_(3) formation in a coastal city of southeast China:Results from simulation based on four-season observation

The pollution of atmospheric ozone in China shows an obvious upward trend in the past ***,the studies on the atmospheric oxidation capacity and O_(3)formation in four seasons in the southeastern coastal region of China with the rapid urbanization remain ***,a four-season field observation was carried out in a coastal city of southeast China,using an observation-based model combining with the master Chemical mechanism,to explore the atmospheric oxidation capacity(AOC),radical chemistry,O_(3)formation pathways and *** results showed that the average net O_(3)production rate(14.55 ppbv/hr)in summer was the strongest,but the average O_(3)concentrations in autumn was *** AOC and ROx levels presented an obvious seasonal pattern with the maximum value in summer,while the OH reactivity in winter was the highest with an average value of 22.75 sec^(-1).The OH reactivity was dominated by oxygenated VOCs(OVOCs)(30.6%-42.8%),CO(23.2%-26.8%),NO_(2)(13.6%-22.0%),and alkenes(8.4%-12.5%)in different *** photolysis dominated OH primary source on daytime in winter,while in other seasons,HONO photolysis in the morning and ozone photolysis in the afternoon contributed *** analysis indicated that O_(3)production was controlled by VOCs in spring,autumn and winter,but a VOC-limited and NOx-limited regime in summer,and alkene and aromatic species were the major controlling factors to O_(3)***,the study characterized the atmospheric oxidation capacity and elucidated the controlling factors for O_(3)production in the coastal area with the rapid urbanization in China.

Astrophysical S-factor and reaction rate for 15N(p,γ)16O within the modified potential cluster model

We study radiative p^(15)N capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified potential cluster model(mPCm)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)N(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)S_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)N channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)m1 *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy S-factor,and the extrapolated S(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** important role of the asymptotic constant(AC)for the ^(15)N(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comparison of our calculation for the S-factor with existing experimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and compared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a strong impact of the interference of ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CNO Gamow windows,especially at low *** estimate the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experimental data from ***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade transitions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gamow energy window and a comparison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)N(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)N(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)N(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)N(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the mPCm and provide the temperature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.

The Aral Sea was the fourth largest lake in the world but it has shrunk dramatically as a result of irrational human activities, triggering the "Aral Sea ecological crisis". The ecological problems of the Aral Sea have attracted widespread attention, and the alleviation of the Aral Sea ecological crisis has reached a consensus among the five Central Asian countries(Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan). In the past decades, many ecological management measures have been implemented for the ecological restoration of the Aral Sea. However, due to the lack of regional planning and zoning, the results are not ideal. In this study, we mapped the ecological zoning of the Aral Sea from the perspective of ecological restoration based on soil type, soil salinity, surface water, groundwater table, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI), land cover, and aerosol optical depth(AOD) data. Soil salinization and salt dust are the most prominent ecological problems in the Aral Sea. We divided the Aral Sea into 7 first-level ecological restoration subregions(North Aral Sea catchment area in the downstream of the Syr Darya River(Subregion Ⅰ);artificial flood overflow area in the downstream of the Aral Sea(Subregion Ⅱ);physical/chemical remediation area of the salt dust source area in the eastern part of the South Aral Sea(Subregion Ⅲ);physical/chemical remediation area of severe salinization in the central part of the South Aral Sea(Subregion Ⅳ);existing water surface and potential restoration area of the South Aral Sea(Subregion Ⅴ);Aral Sea vegetation natural recovery area(Subregion Ⅵ);and vegetation planting area with slight salinization in the South Aral Sea(Subregion Ⅶ)) and 14 second-level ecological restoration subregions according to the ecological zoning principles. As one of the most common structural motifs in natural products,cyclopentenones usually can be fabricated by Nazarov cyclization using divinyl ketones or functionalized tertiary divinyl carbinols(TDCs)as ***,straightforward method for transforming unfunctionalized TDCs to their corresponding cyclopentenones is currently ***,we wish to report the total syntheses of four structurally distinct terpenoids,namely laurane-type marine sesquiterpenoids isolaurene,debromoaplysin and aplysin,and guaiane sesquiterpenoid guaiadienone A,all using a novel synthetic method,named oxidative Nazarov cyclization,as the key *** work demonstrated our robust method is suitable for synthesizing various highly substituted cyclopentenones.

Neural networks-based iterative learning control consensus for periodically time-varying multi-agent systems

In this paper,the problem of adaptive iterative learning based consensus control for periodically time-varying multi-agent systems is studied,in which the dynamics of each follower are driven by nonlinearly parameterized terms with periodic *** networks and Fourier base expansions are introduced to describe the periodically time-varying dynamic *** this basis,an adaptive learning parameter with a positively convergent series term is constructed,and a distributed control protocol based on local signals between agents is designed to ensure accurate consensus of the closed-loop ***,consensus algorithm is generalized to solve the formation control ***,simulation experiments are implemented through mATLAb to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method used.

Achieving high maize yields and efficient phosphorus(P)use with limited environmental impacts is one of the greatest challenges in sustainable maize *** plant density is considered an effective approach for achieving high maize ***,the low mobility of P in soils and the scarcity of natural P resources have hindered the development of methods that can simultaneously optimize P use and mitigate the P-related environmental footprint at high plant *** this study,meta-analysis and substance flow analysis were conducted to evaluate the effects of different types of mineral P fertilizer on maize yield at varying plant densities and assess the flow of P from rock phosphate mining to P fertilizer use for maize production in China.A significantly higher yield was obtained at higher plant densities than at lower plant *** application of single superphosphate,triple super-phosphate,and calcium magnesium phosphate at high plant densities resulted in higher yields and a smaller environmental footprint than the application of diammonium phosphate and monoammonium *** scenario analyses suggest that combining the optimal P type and application rate with a high plant density could increase maize yield by 22%.Further,the P resource use efficiency throughout the P supply chain increased by 39%,whereas the P-related environmental footprint decreased by 33%.Thus,simultaneously optimizing the P type and application rate at high plant densities achieved multiple objectives during maize production,indicating that combining P management with cropping techniques is a practical approach to sustainable maize *** findings offer strategic,synergistic options for achieving sustainable agricultural development.

Transient long-range distance measurement by a Vernier spectral interferometry

Rapid and long-range distance measurements are essential in various industrial and scientific applications,and among them,the dual-comb ranging system attracts great attention due to its high ***,the tem-poral asynchronous sampling results in the tradeoff between frame rate and ranging precision,and the non-ambiguity range(NAR)is also limited by the comb cycle,which hinders the further advancement of the dual-comb ranging *** this constraint,we introduce a Vernier spectral interferometry to improve the frame rate and NAR of the ranging ***,leveraging the dispersive time-stretch technology,the dual-comb interferometry becomes spectral ***,the asynchronous time step is unlimited,and the frame rate is improved to 100 ***,dual-wavelength bands are introduced to implement a Vernier spectral interferometry,whose NAR is enlarged from 1.5 m to 1.5 ***,this fast and long-range system also demonstrated high precision,with a 22.91-nm Allan deviation over 10-ms averaging *** a result,the proposed Vernier spectral interferometry ranging system is promising for diverse applications that necessitate rapid and extensive distance measurement.

From ore to mOF:A case of mIL-100(Fe)production from iron ore concentrates

Within this work,iron ore concentrates instead of elemental iron Fe^(0)and iron salts like Fe(NO_(3))_(3)and FeCl_(3)were selected as iron source to prepare mIL-100(Fe)(labeled as mIL-100(Fe)-ore).The corresponding synthesis cost is reduced to half of the mIL-100(Fe)produced from elemental iron and iron *** well,the unreacted iron ore concentrates can be easily separated from the as-prepared mIL-100(Fe)-ore by magnetic to facilitate the purification process,free of the strong acids to wash the residual *** as-obtained mIL-100(Fe)-ore with Langmuir surface area up to 2281.6 m^(2)g^(-1)displayed long-term chemical ***,the sorption capacity of mIL-100(Fe)-ore towards malachite green(mG)is up to 522.3 mg g^(-1)at 25℃and initial pH=3.2,higher than that of mIL-100(Fe)yielded by conventional hydrothermal ***,the production cost and life cycle assessment of mIL-100(Fe)-ore were compared with other traditional production *** results revealed that our work greatly reduced the synthesis cost and enhanced the environmental sustainability.

Skeletal muscle has a robust regeneration ability that is impaired by severe injury,disease,and *** in a decline in skeletal muscle ***,improving skeletal muscle regeneration is a key challenge in treating skeletal muscle-related *** to their significant role in tissue regeneration,implantation of m2 macrophages(m2mФ)has great potential for improving skeletal muscle ***,we present a short-wave infrared(SWIR)fluorescence imaging technique to obtain more in vivo information for an in-depth evaluation of the skeletal muscle regeneration effect after m2mФ*** fluorescence imaging was employed to track implanted m2mФin the injured skeletal muscle of mouse *** is found that the implanted m2mФaccumulated at the injury site for two ***,SWIR fluorescence imaging of blood vessels showed that m2mФimplantation could improve the relative perfusion ratio on day 5(1.09±0.09 vs 0.85±0.05;p=0.01)and day 9(1.38±0.16 vs 0.95±0.03;p=0.01)post-injury,as well as augment the degree of skeletal muscle regencration on day 13 ***,multiple linear regression analyses determined that post-injury time and relative perfusion ratio could be used as predictive indicators to evaluate skeletal muscle *** results provide more in vivo details about m2mФin skeletal muscle regeneration and confirm that m2mФcould promote angiogenesis and improve the degree of skeletal muscle repair,which will guide the research and development of m2mФimplantation to improve skeletal muscle regeneration.
