here we present the case of a 20-year-old male with a known history of an artificial mechanical aortic valve replacement at ages four and twelve, on chronic warfarin therapy, who presented to our community emergency department for the evaluation of vomiting, diarrhea, generalized malaise and abdominal pain. he was seen at a local urgent care for similar symptoms earlier in the day, subsequently discharged with a diagnosis of mild gastroenteritis; however, according to the patient＇s sister, upon his return home he looked very unwell and she called an ambulance immediately.

In this paper,a new formulation is proposed to evaluate the origin intensity factors(OIFs)in the singular boundary method(SbM)for solving 3D potential problems with Dirichlet boundary *** SbM is a strong-form boundary discretization collocation technique and is mathematically simple,easy-to-program,and free of *** crucial step in the implementation of the SbM is to determine the OIFs which isolate the singularities of the fundamental ***,the inverse interpolation technique(IIT)is adopted to calculate the OIFs on Dirichlet boundary,which is time consuming for large-scale *** recent years,the new methodology has been developed to efficiently calculate the OIFs on Neumann boundary,but the Dirichlet problem remains an open *** study employs the subtracting and adding-back technique based on the integration of the fundamental solution over the whole boundary to develop a new formulation of the OIFs on 3D Dirichlet *** problems with varied domain shapes and boundary conditions are carried out to validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed scheme in comparison with the SbM based on inverse interpolation technique,the method of fundamental solutions,and the boundary element method.

The absorption of one to six ammonia molecules by the （h2O）50 cluster is studied by the molecular dynamics method under near-atmospheric conditions. The capture of Nh 3 molecules by a water cluster produces an increase in the integrated intensity of IR absorbance, substantially decreases emission power in the frequency range of 0≤ω≤3500cm-1,and transforms a continuous reflectance spectrum into a banded one. Adsorption of ammonia molecules by water clusters greatly diminishes the number of electrons that are active with respect to electromagnetic radiation. The present results are also compared with the experimental findings wherever available.

AIM: To characterize the nuclear import of hepatitis b virus (hbV) polymerase (P) and its relevance for the viral life cycle.METhODS: Sequence analysis was performed to predict functional motives within P. Phosphorylation of P was analyzed by in vitro phosphorylation. Phosphorylation site and nuclear localization signal (NLS) were destroyed by site directed mutagenesis. Functionality of the identified NLS was analyzed by confocal fluorescence microscopy and characterizing the karyopherin binding. Relevance of the structural motives for viral life cycle was studied by infection of primary Tupaia hepatocytes with hbV.RESULTS: We identified by sequence alignment and functional experiments a conserved bipartite NLS containing a casein kinase II (CKII) phosphorylation site located within the terminal protein domain (TP) of the hbV polymerase. Inhibition of CKII impairs the functionality of this NLS and thereby prevents the nuclear import of the polymerase. binding of the import factor karyopherin-α2 to the polymerase depends on its CKII-mediated phosphorylation of the bipartite NLS. In hbV-infected primary Tupaia hepatocytes CKII inhibition in the early phase (post entry phase) of the infection process prevents the establishment of the infection.CONCLUSION: based on these data it is suggested that during hbV infection the final import of the genome complex into the nucleus is mediated by a novel bipartite NLS localized in the TP domain of hbV polymerase.

One of the factors that affect the parameters of an underground cable is earth return path *** developed a formula for the case of one-layer(homogenous) *** in practice the earth is composed of several *** this study we develop a new formula for earth return path impedance in the case of a three-layer *** check the accuracy of the obtained results,a comparison has been made with the finite element method(FEM).A comparison between the results of the Pollaczek formula and results of the obtained formula for a three-layer earth has been made,showing that the use of the Pollaczek formula instead of the actual formula can cause serious errors.
