The strain amplitude-controlled fatigue characteristics of an Al-Si casting alloy and its composite reinforced with 17 vol%Al2O3 fibers(Al-Si/Al2O3)are studied at three different *** the alloy and the composite showed different degrees of cyclic softening at elevated *** the temperature,fatigue damage of either the alloy or the composite occurred with varying mode from brittle fracture of silicon particles to their separation from the aluminum *** is explained by the different thermal expansion coefficients of silicon particles and the aluminum *** reinforcement Al2O3 fibers in the composite showed a similar damage behavior with those silicon particles despite temperature variation.

Aim: To study a 46, XY newborn patient with a phenotype suggestive of an androgen insensitivity syndrome toconfirn an anomaly in the AR gene. Methods: Genomic DNA from leukocytes was isolated in order to analyze SRYgene by PCR and sequencing of the eight exons of AR gene. Isolation of human Leydig cell mesenchymal precursorsfrom the testis was performed in order to study testosterone production and response to hCG stimulation in ***: Surgical exploration disclosed two testes, no Wolffian structures and important Mullerian derivatives. TheSRY gene was present in peripheral blood leukocytes. Sequencing of the AR gene evidenced a previously unreported Gto T transversion in exon 1 that changed the normal glutamine 153 codon to a stop codon. Interstitial cell culturesproduced sizable amounts of testosterone and were responsive to hCG stimulation. Conclusion: This E153X nonsensepoint mutation has not been described previously in cases of AIS, and could lead to the synthesis of a short truncated(153 vs 919 residues) non functional AR probably responsible for the phenotype of complete androgen insensitivitysyndrome (CAIS).

目的验证跨理论模型与社会支持理论相结合在社区医生干预2型糖尿病患者饮食行为中的应用效果。方法本研究为整群社区干预试验,对照组进行常规管理;直接支持组由社区医生对患者进行医生主导的饮食干预;间接支持组则进行医患协商的饮食干预;同时为两干预组发放了控量餐具和食物图卡。根据跨理论模型自行设计调查问卷,在基线、3个月、6个月时进行调查。结果在3个月和6个月时,直接支持组和间接支持组整体对糖尿病饮食益处的认知和饮食相关自我效能水平呈上升趋势,而感知到实施糖尿病饮食的障碍呈下降趋势,但只有3个月时,两干预组[直接支持组得分(13.72±2.04)分;间接支持组得分13.88±1.85]与对照组[得分(12.92±2.30)分]在益处认知水平上的差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。广义估计方程结果显示,女性、文化程度较高、知觉饮食障碍较低、饮食自我效能较高、直接支持组在6个月时,所处行为阶段更高。结论社区医生基于跨理论模型来对患者的饮食行为进行的干预,可以促进患者的决策平衡发生积极变化,并可促进患者饮食行为阶段前进,直接支持可能对患者的饮食改变帮助更大。

Effect of various pesticides (insecticides, fungicides and herbicides) has been studied on growth and efficiency of symbiotic properties of 3 fast growing Rhizobium sp. under green house conditions. The results revealed adverse effects on plant growth and nitrogen fixing capacity as measured by dry weight and total nitrogen content of plants infected with pesticide treated Rhizobium. Of the pesticides tested, herbicides were found to be more effective on the above parameters than the insecticides and fungicides.

Arsenic considered as one of the most hazardous chemical while arsenic poisoning is also one of the serious medical issues *** term arsenic exposure is associated with bone *** exact mechanism involving arsenic induced bone degeneration remains unclear but,plentiful literature suggested that oxidative/nitrosative stress caused by generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)and reactive nitrogen species(RNS)is one of the leading *** treatment strategies are available for bone degeneration however,the suitable treatment for arsenic induced bone degeneration still *** the current investigation,we evaluated the efficacy of chelation against arsenic induced bone degeneration in experimental *** Sprague Dawley rats were exposed to sodium arsenite and dimethylarsinic acid(DMA)(50 ppm)for 18 *** arsenic exposure,animals were treated with Monoisoamyl dimercaptosuccinic acid(MiADMSA)for three course of treatment(50 mg/kg,p.o.,once daily for 5 days)with an interval of one week between two courses of *** minimizes the bone degeneration through reduction of oxidative stress(Reactive Oxygen Species,Reactive Nitrogen Species,and thiobarbituric reactive substances),alteration of antioxidant status(rGSH,Superoxide dismutase,Catalase)which led to the depletion in the levels of inflammatory markers like TNFa and IL-1b and alteration in the bone remodelling biomarkers like ALP,RANKL,and *** can be concluded from this study that MiADMSA could be an effective therapeutic strategy against arsenic induced bone degeneration and the possible mechanism could be the chelation of arsenic accompanied by the reduction in oxidative stress and inflammation.

根据牛顿第二定律,对鹰式波浪能装置多个浮体进行了力学分析,基于微波理论,通过每个浮体之间三种模态的运动耦合,建立了流体力、阻尼力、铰接力、静水回复力等内外力之间的力学方程组。通过以运动浮体为边界条件求解多个浮体的水动力学参数,代入方程组中计算求得最优外加阻尼和最优俘获宽度比,从而优化设计方案,得到此时各浮体在纵荡、垂荡和纵摇三种运动模态下的位移幅值,以及阻尼力、铰接力、液压缸运动速度等相关参数。研究成果为鹰式波浪能装置的设计及制造提供了理论参考和依据。

background:Waterbirds are globally declining as a result of habitat loss, alteration or degradation. Fishing activities may affect waterbird distribution, abundance and diversity, and traditional fishing activities often enhance waterbird abundance. We tested this hypothesis by studying the abundance and diversity of selected common waterbird species in the Kadalundi–Vallikkunnu Community Reserve, a globally significant wetland in southwestern India in relation to fishing ***:We monitored waterbird abundance four times a month from 2012 to 2015 using direct observation method during low tide. Traditional bamboo fish traps were deployed during the first and third weeks of each month. ANOVAs(one-way and multi-way) were used to examine how waterbird counts diversity varied in relation to years, seasons and period of fishing traps. Additionally we conducted a linear regression to examine the relationship between fish occurrence and waterbird counts and ***:Waterbird counts varied with years and seasons, with the maximum counts being recorded during the postmonsoon(winter). Individual species varied in their responses to trap deployment. Small waterbird species usually forage in shallow shorelines, increased during trap deployment whereas the larger waterbirds were not affected by trap deployment because they tend to hunt in deeper waters. The total fish captured was an important predictor of both waterbird abundance and ***:In this study we documented a positive association between traditional fish trap deployment and waterbird counts and diversity. Providing high quality habitats for waterbirds as well as effective sustainable livelihoods through traditional fisheries is a critical management issue.
