The envisaged design and developme nt of individual mate rials to excavate a broader spectrum of desired properties and offer multiple applications are highly *** this in mind,a series of forsterite-structured Mg2GeO4:Eu3+（1 mol%-9 mol%） nanophosphors was synthesized via a solution combustion method using oxalyl dihydrazide as a *** X-ray diffraction patterns confirm the orthorhombic crystal system with a Puma space *** results clearly show irregularly shaped cluster-like structures with aggregation of the *** diffuse reflectance spectra,the optical energy band gap of the Mg2GeO4:Eu3+（1 mol%-9 mol%） nanophosphors was estimated and obtained to be～4.12-4.32 *** photoluminescence emission spectra exhibit intense peaks at ～579,589,610,661,and 707 nm,which are due to characteristic5D0→7F0,5D0→7F1,5Do→7F2,5D0→7F3and5D0→7F4transitions of Eu3+ions,*** commission International de L'Eclairage color coordinates are gradually tuned from pale red（0.5980,0.4012） to a pure red（0.6385,0.3611） *** glow peaks showcase excellent super-linear response at low doses of γ-irradiations,indicating that the prepared phosphor can be used in thermoluminescent personal dosimetry which is a biological tissue *** aforementioned results demonstrate that the prepared Mg2GeO4:Eu3+（1 mol%-9 mol%） nanophosphors are considered an excellent candidate for dual applications,i.e.,red component in future generation white-light-emitting diodes（WLEDs） and personal dosimetric applications.

We investigated ^(50,52-54)cr-induced fusion reactions for the synthesis of the superheavy element in the 104≤Z≤122 *** cross sections produced in this investigation using ^(54)cr projectiles were compared with those obtained in prior *** estimated cross sections from this analysis are consistent with the findings of prior *** the current study,the predicted cross section was found to be 42fb at 236 MeV for ^(53)cr+^(243)Am,23.2 fb at 236 MeV for ^(54)cr+^(247)cm,95.6 fb at 240 MeV for ^(53)cr+248bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 MeV for ^(53)cr+***,these projected cross sections with excitation energy and beam energy will be useful in future cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.

The heat transfer through a concave permeable fin is analyzed by the local thermal non-equilibrium(LTNE)*** governing dimensional temperature equations for the solid and fluid phases of the porous extended surface are modeled,and then are nondimensionalized by suitable dimensionless ***,the obtained nondimensional equations are solved by the clique polynomial method(cPM).The effects of several dimensionless parameters on the fin's thermal profiles are shown by graphical ***,the current study implements deep neural structures to solve physics-governed coupled equations,and the best-suited hyperparameters are attained by comparison with various network *** results of the cPM and physicsinformed neural network(PINN)exhibit good agreement,signifying that both methods effectively solve the thermal modeling problem.

Hydrocarbon indication in Rio bonito Formation sandstone:Implication for cO_(2)storage in São Paulo,brazil

São Paulo State has witnessed cO_(2)storage-based investigations considering the availability of suitable geologic structures and proximity to primary cO_(2)source sinks related to bioenergy and carbon capture and storage(bEccS)*** current study presents the hydrocarbon viability evaluations and cO_(2)storage prospects,focusing on the sandstone units of the Rio bonito *** objective is to apply petrophysical evaluations with geochemical inputs in predicting future hydrocarbon(gas)production to boost cO_(2)storage within the study *** study used data from eleven wells with associated wireline logs(gamma ray,resistivity,density,neutron,and sonic)to predict potential hydrocarbon accumulation and fluid mobility in the investigated *** samples(shale and carbonate)obtained from depths>200 m within the study location have shown bitumen *** geochemistry data of the Rio bonito Formation shale beds suggest they are potential hydrocarbon source rocks and could have contributed to the gas accumulations within the sandstone *** drilled well data,e.g.,cb-1-SP and TI-1-SP,show hydrocarbon(gas)presence based on the typical resistivity and the combined neutron-density responses at depths up to 3400 m,indicating the possibility of other hydrocarbon members apart from the heavy oil(bitumen)observed from the near-surface rocks *** the three-dimensional(3-D)model,the free fluid indicator(FFI)is more significant towards the southwest and southeast of the area with deeper depths of occurrence,indicating portions with reasonable hydrocarbon recovery rates and good prospects for cO_(2)injection,circulation and permanent ***,future studies based on contemporary datasets are required to establish the hydrocarbon viability further,foster gas production events,and enhance cO_(2)storage possibilities within the region.

b_(4)c/Al composites are widely utilized as neutron absorbing materials for the storage and transportation of spent nuclear *** order to improve the high-temperature mechanical properties of b_(4)c/Al composites,in-situ nano-Al_(2)O_(3)was introduced utilizing oxide on Al powder *** this study,the Al_(2)O_(3)content was adjusted by utilizing spheroid Al powder with varying diameters,thereby investigating the impact of Al_(2)O_(3)content on the tensile properties of(b_(4)c+Al_(2)O_(3))/Al *** was found that the pinning effect of Al_(2)O_(3)on the grain boundaries could hinder the recovery of dislocations and lead to dislocation accumulation at high *** the result,with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3)content and the decrease in grain size,the high-temperature strength of the composites increased *** finest Al powder used in this investigation had a diameter of 1.4μm,whereas the resultant composite exhibited a maximum strength of 251 MPa at room temperature and 133 MPa at 350℃,surpassing that of traditional b_(4)c/Al composites.

Rare earth-doped mixed Ni-cu-Zn ferrites as an effective photocatalytic agent for active degradation of Rhodamine b dye

In this study, a series of Gd^(3+)-doped mixed Ni-cu-Zn ferrites with composition of Zn_(0.5)Ni_(0.3)cu_(0.2)Fe_(2-x)Gd_(x)O_(4)(x = 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1) was prepared using self-ignition sol-gel method. The prepared nanoparticles with an average size ranging from 22 to 26 nm show a single-phase cubic structure belonging to the spinel matrix. A rise in the Gd^(3+)concentration leads to an increase in crystallite size and lattice parameter. In Fourier transform infrared spectra, two main absorption bands belonging to the spinel structure are observed. The high-frequency bands(v_(1)) represent the tetrahedral complex, while the lowfrequency bands(v_(2)) signify the octahedral complex. The optical bandgap of the nanoferrites is found within the range of 2.91 to 2.41 eV, depending on their size. The magnetic characteristics of the material,such as saturation magnetization and coercivity are significantly altered with the concentration of Gd^(3+)in the solution. Using Rhodamine b(Rhb) as a model organic pollutant, an in-depth investigation of the photocatalytic activity of the compounds was carried out. The present outcomes show that adding an adequate amount of Gd^(3+)significantly enhances the number of hydroxyl radicals produced by the ferrite,in turn, increasing the photocatalytic activity of the material. Mechanism elucidated by scavenger studies reveals that ·OH and holes are the primary reactive radicals responsible for the degradation *** photocatalysts show an insignificant performance loss in five consecutive cycles. Thus, it is concluded that these photocatalysts are highly suitable for the remediation of dye-contaminated wastewater.
