The 12C+12C fusion reaction plays a crucial role in stellar evolution and *** main open reaction channels includeα,p,n,and *** more than a half century of efforts,large differences remain among the experimental data of this reaction measured using various *** this work,we analyze the existing data using a statistical *** calculation shows the following:1)the relative systematic uncertainties of the predicted branching ratios decrease as the predicted ratios increase;2)the total modified astrophysical S-factors(S^* factors)of the p andαchannels can be obtained by summing the S^* factors of their corresponding ground-state transitions and the characteristicγrays,while taking into account the contributions of the missing channels to the *** applying corrections based on branching ratios predicted by the statistical model,an agreement is achieved among the different data sets at Ecm>4 MeV,while some discrepancies remain at lower energies,suggesting the need for better measurements in the near *** find that the S^* factor recently obtained from an indirect measurement is inconsistent with the direct measurement value at energies below 2.6 *** recommend upper and lower limits for the 12C+12C S^* factor based on the existing models.A new 12C+12C reaction rate is also recommended.

The vegetative development of cabbage(brassica oleracea ***)passes through seedling,rosette,folding and heading *** that form the rosette are large and mostly *** the following developmental stages,the plants produce leaves that curve inward to produce the leafy *** microRNAs and their target genes have been described participating in leaf development and leaf *** aim of this study is to investigate the role of miRNA-regulated genes in the transition from the rosette to the heading *** compared the mi RNA and gene abundances between emerging rosette and heading *** remove transcripts(miRNAs and genes)whose regulation was most likely associated with plant age rather than the change from rosette to heading stage,we utilized a non-heading collard green(*** ***)morphotype as *** resulted in 33 DEMs and 1998 DEGs with likely roles in the transition from rosette to heading stage in *** these 1998 DEGs,we found enriched GO terms related to DNA-binding transcription factor activity,transcription regulator activity,iron ion binding,and *** predicted the target genes of these 33 DEMs and focused on the subset that was differentially expressed(1998DEGs)between rosette and heading stage leaves to construct mi RNA-target gene interaction *** main finding is a role for miR396b-5p targeting two Arabidopsis thaliana orthologues of GROWTH REGULATING FACTORs 3(GRF3)and 4(GRF4)in pointed cabbage head formation.

The reaction path in the (ba, Sr, Ca)SO-4 solid-solution aqueous-solution (SSAS) system was experimentally studied using a batch-reactor method. The effect of the impurities "fluorite" and "iron sulfides" admixed in a natural barite sample on the reaction path was followed by analyzing the aqueous solution continuously. The dissolution and precipitation of the impurity "fluorite" affected strongly the reaction path in the SSAS system, especially the Ca/Sr/ba ratio in the aqueous solution. This influence became stronger with decreasing CaSO-4 in the solid solution. The dissolution and precipitation of fluorite could hinder the CaSO-4 component from dissolving into water, and reduce the release rate of SO{2-}-4 from the solid solution to the aqueous solution and the removing rate of ba{2} from the aqueous solution. In the presence of fluorite and sulfides, the aqueous ba{2} and Sr{2} concentrations were controlled by the dissolution-precipitation of the end-members baSO-4 and SrSO-4, respectively; the aqueous F-, Ca{2} and SO{2-}-4 concentrations were controlled by the dissolution-precipitation of fluorite. The incongruent dissolution of the (ba, Sr, Ca)SO-4 solid solution caused the solid phase to become progressively more enriched in the more insoluble component (baSO-4), while the aqueous composition shifted towards the more soluble end-members (SrSO-4 and CaSO-4) as equilibrium was approached to.

Chinese cabbage plants go through seedling and rosette stages before forming their leafy *** cabbage plants resemble pak-choi plants at their seedling stage,but in their rosette stage the leaves of Chinese cabbage differentiate,as they increase in size with shorter *** order to understand the molecular pathways that play a role in leafy head formation,transcript abundance of young emerging leaves was profiled during development of two Chinese cabbage genotypes and a single pak-choi *** two Chinese cabbages differed in many aspects,among others earliness,leaf size and shape,leaf numbers,and leafy head ***-wide transcriptome analysis clearly separated the seedling stages of all three genotypes together with the later stages from pak-choi,from the later developmental stages of both Chinese cabbages(rosette,folding,and heading).Weighted correlation network analysis and hierarchical clustering using Euclidean distances resulted in gene clusters with transcript abundance patterns distinguishing the two Chinese cabbages from *** clusters included genes with transcript abundance affected by both genotype and developmental stage,whereas two clusters showed only genotype *** included a genotype by developmental stage cluster highly enriched with the MapMan category photosynthesis,with high expression during rosette and folding in Chinese cabbages and low expression in the heading inner leaves that are not exposed to *** other clusters contained many genes in the MapMan categories Cell,showing again differences between pak-choi and both Chinese *** discuss how this relates to the differences in leaf blade growth between Chinese cabbage and pak-choi,especially at the rosette ***,comparison of the transcriptome between leaves of two very different Chinese cabbages with pak-choi during plant development allowed the identification of specific gene categories associated with leafy head formation.

Partnerships have become a comer stone of contemporary research that recognizes working across disciplines and co-production with intended users as essential to enabling sustainable ***,research that addresses sustainable development challenges brings an urgent need to reflect on the ways that partnerships are supported,and for the disaster risk management and resilience communities,efforts to support realization of the wider 2030 Agenda for sustainable development bring particular *** November 2019,the UK Disasters Research Group(DRG)brought together a number of key stakeholders focused on disaster risk,resilience,and sustainability research relevant to Official DevelopmeAssistance to consider how fit for purpose existing partnership models are for the pace of change required to deliver the priorities of the wider 2030 *** were invited to discuss how research partnerships across three levels(individual and project-based;national and institutional;and international)could be improved based on elements that facilitate robust partnerships and learning from aspects that hinder *** the discussions,participanls emphasized the importance of effective communication mechanisms in building partnerships,co-designing projects,and establishing shared *** approaches to addressing equitable partnerships and funding more substantive timelines will be key to responding to the challenges of the 2030 Agenda.

Orthotopic liver transplantation for giant liver haemangioma: A case report

In liver haemangiomas, the risk of complication rises with increasing size, and treatment can be obligatory. Here we present a case of a 46-year-old female who suffered from a giant haemangioma causing severe portal hypertension and vena cava compression, leading to therapy refractory ascites, hyponatremia and venostasis-associated thrombosis with pulmonary embolism. The patients did not experience tumour rupture or consumptive coagulopathy. Surgical resection was impossible because of steatosis of the non-affected liver. Orthotopic liver transplantation was identified as the only treatment option. The patient's renal function remained stable even though progressive morbidity and organ allocation were improbable according to the patient's lab model for end-stage liver disease(lab MELD) score. Therefore, non-standard exception status was approved by the European organ allocation network "Eurotransplant". The patient underwent successful orthotopic liver transplantation 16 mo after admission to our centre. Our case report indicates the underrepresentation of morbidity associated with refractory ascites in the lab MELD-based transplant allocation system, and it indicates the necessity of promptly applying for non-standard exception status to enable transplantation in patients with a severe clinical condition but low lab MELD score. Our case highlights the fact that liver transplantation should be considered early in patients with non-resectable, symptomatic benign liver tumours.

叙述了一个人造短纤维工厂。这是一种高容量生产线的工厂,加上它的消耗、能量、劳力节省的特点,结果获得合理投资所得的利润。全密闭的、连续运转的反应器,中枢控制中心和有效的通风系统相结合创造了舒适的工作条件。每单位面积高喷丝孔密度的喷丝头允许使用较低的纺丝速度并能用于高性能人造纤维的生产。我们坚定地认为人造短纤维在五类最重要的化学纤维中将保持它的位置。我们对人造纤维的生产设备继续改进并已发展了生产能力高达60吨/日的全自动连续生产线。在开发这种设备时,必需考虑如下五个目的:(a)满足生态学的要求,(b)减少投资,(c)降低生产成本,(d)创造舒适的工作条件,(e)容许用于高性能纤维的生产。

不同类型的水的混合可能引起溶解和沉淀作用的发生,从而导致混合水具有全新的完全不同于混合前的性质,应用PHREEQC模拟了Clara矿区地下水、泉水、地表水及矿坑水在相对于二氧化碳气体封闭的或开放的体系中的混合作用。模拟计算的混合水与实际水样中的主要离子的含量基本相同,较大的差别仅存在于微量组分。随着在混合过程中水的化学组成的变化,水的类型也会发生相应变化。不同类型水的混合可以导致饱和系数的强烈变化,从而引起某些矿物的溶解或沉淀。富ba的Na-Ca-Cl-HCO_3类型水与富SO_4^(2-)的Ca-Na-SO_4-Cl类型水的混合是克拉拉矿次生重晶石形成的最主要原因。
