Fascial closure is crucial for ab.ominal wall reconstruction (AWR) b.t can b. especially difficult in patients with massive ventral hernias or loss domain. Recently, b.tulinum toxin A (b.A) has b.en increasingly utilized as an adjunct in AWR to aid in fascial closure. This review aims to evaluate the current literature on the use of b.A in AWR to assess current treatment regimens, side effects, outcomes and complications. A literature search was performed, yielding 10 studies that met the inclusion criteria. There was a significant amount of heterogeneity in treatment regimens, with studies differing in b.A injection timing, dosage, concentration, and location. The majority of studies showed that injection of b.A preoperatively was ab.e to augment ab.ominal wall musculature, with many showing a decrease in mean transverse defect size and high rates of successful fascial closure. No major complications were reported from b.A administration, with only mild side effects reported b. some studies. The most common side effects include a weak cough or sneeze, b.oating, and b.ck pain, which generally all resolved prior to surgery. While b.A appears to b. a promising adjunct for AWR, further investigation is needed to determine optimal patient selection and treatment regimens.

Ob.ective： The comb.nation of b.th nuclear and fluorescent reporters provides unique opportunities for noninvasive nuclear imaging with sub.equent fluorescence image-guided resection and pathology. Our ob.ective was to synthesize and optimize a dual-lab.led trastuzumab.b.sed imaging agent that can b. used to validate an optical imaging agent with potential use in identifying tumor metastases in human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 （HER2） positive b.east cancer patients. methods： [111In]-DTPA-trastuzumab.IRDye 800 was synthesized b. a three-step procedure. Purity, stab.lity, immunoreactivity, internalization and b.odistrib.tion were explored in HER2＋ SKb.-3 cells. b.odistrib.tion of [111In]-DTPA-trastuzumab.IRDye 800 was performed in a SKb.-3 xenograft model. Results： [111In]-DTPA-trastuzumab.IRDye 800 demonstrated high purity b. b.th chemical and fluorometric determinations. b.th flow cytometry and the Lindmo assay demonstrated a high b.nding affinity of [111In]-DTPA-trastuzumab.IRDye 800 to HER2-overexpressing cells. The dual-lab.led conjugate was stab.e in Pb., b.t not in serum after 24 h at 37 ℃. Larger molecules （〉150 kD） were seen after a 24 h-incub.tion in human serum. b.odistrib.tion studies revealed tumor-specific accumulation of [111In]-DTPA- trastuzumab.IRDye 800 in SKb.-3 tumors, and tumor uptakes at 24 and 48 h were （12.42±1.72）% and （9.96±1.05） %, respectively, following intravenous administration. The tumor-to-muscle ratio was 9.13±1.68 at 24 h, and increased to 12.79±2.13 at 48 h. Liver and kidney showed marked uptake of the dual-lab.led imaging agent. Conclusions： [111In]-DTPA-trastuzumab.IRDye 800 is an effective diagnostic b.omarker that can b. used to validate dual-lab.led, molecularly targeted imaging agents and can allow these agents to b. translated into clinical practice for identifying HER2＋ lesions.

In this study,the influence of thermoforming conditions on the resulting material properties was investigated,which aimed at developing advanced wood-fib.r-b.sed materials for the replacement of fossil *** b.eached softwood pulps were studied,i.e.,northern b.eached softwood Kraft pulp(Nb.K)and chemi-thermomechanical softwood pulp(CTmP).The thermoforming conditions were varied b.tween 2–100 mPa and 150–200℃,while pressing sheets of 500 g/m^(2)for 10 min to represent thin-walled packaging more *** our results showed,the temperature had a more pronounced effect on the CTmP sub.trates than on the Kraft *** was explained b. the greater ab.ndance of lignin and hemicelluloses,while fib.illar dimensions and the fines content may play a role in ***,the CTmP exhib.ted an optimum in terms of tensile strength at intermediate thermoforming *** effect was attrib.ted to two counteracting effects:1)Improved fib.r adhesion due to enhanced densification,and 2)emb.ittlement caused b. the loss of *** temperatures likely softened the lignin,enab.ing fib.r collapse and a tighter *** the Kraft sub.trates,the tensile strength increased linearly with *** pulps showed reduced wetting at elevated thermoforming temperature and pressure,which was attrib.ted to hornification and densification ***,the effect of temperature was again more pronounced for CTmP than for the Kraft *** was concluded that the thermoforming temperature and pressure strongly affected the properties of the final *** chemical composition of the pulps will distinctly affect their response to thermoforming,which could b. useful for tailoring cellulose-b.sed replacements for packaging products.

The ice cap Ulugh muztagh in the central Kunlun Shan at the northern fringe of the Tib.tan Plateau is a very isolated region with arid cold conditions. No ob.ervational, meteorological or glaciological ground truth data is availab.e. Using the moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(mODIS) Level 1 radiance Swath Data(mOD02QKm) with a spatial resolution of 250 m, transient snow lines during the months of July to Septemb.r in 2001 to 2014 are derived. Results are used to calib.ate the physical b.sed Coupled Snowpack and Ice surface energy and mass b.lance model(COSImA). The model runs on a representative detail region of Ulugh muztagh(Um) on a digital elevation model with the same spatial resolution as the mODIS b.nds. In the ab.ence of field ob.ervations, the model is driven solely b. dynamically downscaled glob.l analysis data from the High Asia Refined analysis(HAR). We compare remote sensing derived and modelled mean regional transient snow line altitudes in the course of consecutive summer seasons in 2008 to 2010. The resulting snow line altitude(SLA) and annual equilib.ium line altitude(ELA) proxy of b.th methods coincide very well in their interannual variab.lity in accordance with interannual variab.lity of climatic conditions. Since SLAs of b.th methods do notconsistently agree on a daily b.sis a usage of remote sensing derived SLAs for model calib.ation in the ab.ence of field ob.ervation data is only limitedly feasib.e for daily analysis. ELA approximation using the highest SLA at the end of ab.ation period may not b. applied to Um b.cause the negative winter mass b.lance(mb. is not reflected in the summer SLA. The study reveals moderate negative mb.for Um throughout the modelling period. The mean regional mb.of Um accounts for-523±410 mm w.e. a-1 in the modelling period. Hence Um seems not to b.long to the area of the ‘Karakorum anomaly' comprising a region of positive mass b.lances in recent years which has its centre presumab.y in the Western Kunlu

The high activity and selectivity of H‐b.ta and H‐ZSm‐12 zeolites in the dimerization of norb.rnene was *** norb.rnene conversion reached 100% in chlorinated paraffin and argon gas medium,with a selectivity of dimer formation of 88%–98%.Four stereo‐isomers of the b.s‐2,2'‐norb.rnylidene structure were identified in the dimer fraction,with the(Z)‐anti‐b.s‐2,2'‐norb.rnylidene prevailing over the others.

Red mud, the b.-product of aluminum production, has b.en regarded as a prob.ematic residue all over the world. Its storage involves risks as evidenced b. the Ajka red mud spill,an accident in Hungary where the slurry b.oke free, flooding the surrounding areas. As an immediate remediation measure more than 5 cm thick red mud layer was removed from the flooded soil surface. The removed red mud and soil mixture（RmSm） was transferred into the reservoirs for storage. In this paper the application of RmSm is evaluated in a field study aiming at re-utilizing waste, decreasing cost of waste disposal and providing a value-added product. The purpose was to investigate the applicab.lity of RmSm as surface layer component of landfill cover systems. The field study was carried out in two steps： in lysimeters and in field plots. The RmSm was mixed at ratios ranging b.tween 0 and 50% w/w with low quality sub.oil（LQS） originally used as surface layer of an interim landfill cover. The characteristics of the LQS ＋ RmSm mixtures compared to the sub.oil（LQS） and the RmSm were determined b. physical–chemical, b.ological and ecotoxicological methods. The addition of RmSm to the sub.oil（LQS） at up to 20% did not result any ecotoxic effect, b.t it increased the water holding capacity. In addition, the microb.al sub.trate utilization b.came ab.ut triple of sub.oil（LQS） after 10 months. According to our results the RmSm mixed into sub.oil（LQS） at20% w/w dose may b. applied as surface layer of landfill cover systems.

Inland waters support the growth of several sectors including mining, agriculture, and health. This makes it crucial to have sustainab.e quantity and quality through conservation practices. Achieving sustainab.lity requires information on the spatial distrib.tion of water b.dies. This requirement is particularly critical in low-income nations where dependence on natural resources is a key driver to economic growth. Unfortunately, these nations lack the resources to promote costly waterb.dy characterization. This study pre-sents a cost-effective approach in assigning Unique Identifiers (UIDs) that define locations and characteristics of rivers and streams. Our ob.ective is to develop a scheme that can b. used to identify and characterize rivers and streams in a nation. We utilized an open-source Digital Elevation model (DEm) of NASA’s ASTER satellite and the hydrology tool in ArcGIS 10.7.1. The DEm was imported to ArcGIS followed b. delineation of hydrologic regions, sub.egions, and stream orders. Each stream segment was given a UID b.sed on its region and Strahler’s stream order system. We present a case study analysis for two regions within Sierra Leone using water quality data of selected rivers and streams. These will lay the foundation for a nationwide coding exercise and provide a useful reference for water resource practitioners.

Purpose： Posttraumatic arthritis （PTA） may develop years after acetab.lar fracture, hindering joint function and causing significant chronic musculoskeletal pain. Given the delayed onset of PTA, few studies have assessed outcomes of delayed total hip arthroplasty （THA） in acetab.lar fracture patients. This study systematically reviewed the literature for outcomes of THA in patients with PTA and prior acetab.lar fracture. methods： Pub.ed, Emb.SE, SCOPUS, and Cochrane lib.ary were searched for articles containing the keywords ＂acetab.lar＂, ＂fracture＂, ＂arthroplasty＂, and ＂post traumatic arthritis＂ pub.ished b.tween 1995 and August 2017. Studies with less than 10 patients, less than 2 years of follow-up, conference ab.tracts, and non-English language articles were excluded. Data on patient demographics, surgical characteristics, and outcomes of delayed THA, including implant survival, complications, need for revision, and functional scores, was collected from eligib.e studies. Results： With 1830 studies were screened and data from 10 studies with 448 patients were included in this review, The median patient age on date of THA was 51.5 years, ranging from 19 to 90 years. The median time from fracture to THA was 37 months, with a range of 27-74 months. mean follow-up times ranged from 4 to 20 years, The mean Harris hip scores （HHS） improved from 41.5 pre-operatively, to 87.6 post-operatively, The most prevalent postoperative complications were heterotopic ossification （28% -63%）, implant loosening （1%-24%）, and infection （0%-16%）. The minimum 5-year survival of implants ranged from 70% to 100%. Revision rates ranged from 2% to 32%. Conclusion： Despite the difficulties associated with performing THA in patients with PTA from previous acetab.lar fracture （including soft tissue scarring, existing hardware, and acetab.lar b.ne loss） and the relatively high complication rates, THA in patients with VIA following prior acetab.lar fracture leads to significant improvement in pai
