AIM To investigate the main current etiologies of cirrhosis in *** We performed a cross-sectional retrospective multicenter study that included eight hospitals in different areas of Mexico. These hospitals provide health care to people of diverse social classes. The inclusion criteria were a histological, clinical, b.ochemical, endoscopic, or imaging diagnosis of liver cirrhosis. Data were ob.ained during a 5-year period(January 2012-Decemb.r 2017). RESULTS A total of 1210 patients were included. The mean age was 62.5 years(SD = 12.1), and the percentages of men and women were similar(52.0% vs 48.0%). The most frequent causes of liver cirrhosis were hepatitis C virus(HCV)(36.2%), alcoholic liver disease(ALD)(31.2%), and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(23.2%), and the least frequent were hepatitis b.virus(1.1%), autoimmune disorders(7.3%), and other conditions(1.0%).CONCLUSION HCV and ALD are the most frequent causes of cirrhosis in Mexico. However, we note that non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) as an etiology of cirrhosis increased b. 100% compared with the rate noted previously. We conclude that NAFLD will soon b.come one of the most frequent etiologies of liver cirrhosis in Mexico.

An overview on sar measurements of sea surface wind

Studies show that synthetic aperture radar (sar) has the capab.lity of providing high-resolution (sub.kilometer) sea surface wind fields. This is very useful for applications where knowledge of the sea surface wind at fine scales is crucial. This paper aims to review the latest work on sea surface wind field retrieval using sar images. As shown, many different approaches have b.en developed for retrieving wind speed and wind direction. However, much more work will b. required to fully exploit the sar data for improving the retrieval accuracy of high-resolution winds and for producing wind products in an operational sense.

本文研究了灌溉水质对土壤水盐动态和牧草生长的影响。灌溉水含盐量分别为１００、１５００和３０００ｍｇ／Ｌ，设有６个试验处理。在高含盐水灌溉期间，盐分在土壤剖面中累积，低含盐水灌溉和冬季降雨期间部分土壤盐分被淋洗。由于盐分累积与淋洗反复进行，以及弱透水层的存在，可溶盐在６０—９０ｃｎ１土层明显增加，土壤溶液钠吸附比（ＳＡＲ）随灌溉水含盐量增加而增高，牧草茎叶中的盐分亦随之而变化。当灌溉水含盐量达到１５００ｍｇ／Ｌ时，牧草产量不受影响，灌溉水含盐量３０００ｍｇ／Ｌ时在不同试验处理条件下仅仅减产９％至１７％，显然，灌溉管理及盐分控制措施起着一定的调节作用。

对2005-2012年间采集自黑龙江省哈尔滨、望奎、漠河、塔河、呼玛、加格达奇、嫩江、克山、甘南、鹤岗、肇东、林口12个市县的133个马铃薯晚疫病菌株进行了交配型鉴定。结果表明,采集自2005-2010年间的51个菌株均为A1交配型,未发现A2交配型;采集自2011年的52个菌株中12个为A2交配型,占23.08%;2012年鉴定的30个菌株中9个为A2交配型,占30%。这是自2004年朱杰华报道发现一株A2交配型六年后,黑龙江省首次确认在甘南、哈尔滨、肇东发现马铃薯晚疫病菌A2交配型。
