Ob.ectives. The ob.ectives.of this.work were to des.rib. the s.cio-demographic, clinical and prognos.ic characteris.ics.of forceps.deliveries.at the maternity ward of the Donka National Teaching Hos.ital of Conakry. Parturients.and Method: This.was.a pros.ective and des.riptive s.udy of all forceps.deliveries.performed at the Donka National Hos.ital maternity ward over a 6-month period from April 1, 2018 to s.ptemb.r 30, 2018. Res.lts. We performed 90 fetal extractions.b. forceps.on 3518 deliveries.i.e. a frequency of 2.55%. The s.cio-demographic profile of the parturient women was.that of a young primiparous.woman with an average age of 21.20 years.and a full-term pregnancy with an average ges.ational age of 39 weeks.of amenorrhoea. Fore pos.tion varieties.were the mos. frequent with, in order of frequency, the fore left occipito-iliac (61.3%) and the fore right occipito-iliac (22.22%). Pos.erior varieties.accounted for 15.55% of cas.s. Clinical pelvimetry s.owed that 88.89% of parturients.had a practicab.e pelvis. while 11.11% had a moderately narrow pelvis. Acute fetal s.ffering was.the mos. common indication (55.56%), followed b. maternal exhaus.ion (27.78%) and prolonged expuls.on (16.67%). All forceps.were performed b. doctors. We noted 8 cas.s.of forceps.failure (8.88%) that required a ces.rean s.ction. Maternal complications.were dominated b. s.ft tis.ue les.ons. including 7 cas.s.of perineal tearing (7.77%);4 cas.s.of vaginal tearing (4.44%);3 cas.s.of cervical tearing (3.33%) and 2 cas.s.of hemorrhage of delivery b. uterine atony (2.22%). No cas.s.of maternal death have b.en recorded. The majority of newb.rns.had a normal b.rth weight (88.88%) and more than half of newb.rns.(66.66%) had an Apgar s.ore b.low 7 out of 10 at the firs. minute. b. the fifth minute there was.an improvement in Apgar’s.s.ore from an average of 5 to 8 out of 10. Introduction: Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is.a pub.ic health prob.em. There are 100 to 140 million girls.and women who s.ffer every year in the world [1]. The aim of this.s.udy is.to improve the medical care and reduce complications.of FGM at the Regionalhos.ital of N’zérékoré, to determine their frequency, and to evaluate the maternal-fetalprognos.s. Methods. The s.udy was.conducted at the Regional Hos.ital of N’zérékoré. This.was.a cros.-s.ctional, des.riptive and analytic s.udy of 6 months. from 1 s.ptemb.r 2016 to 28 Feb.uary 2017, including all pregnant women admitted for childb.rth who had a complication of female genital mutilation. Res.lts. A total of 1295 women gave b.rth in the s.rvice, of which 1204 women were women with female genital mutilation. Given a frequency of 92.97%, of thes. 1204 mutilated women, 223 pres.nted ob.tetrical complications.during their delivery, a proportion of 17.22%. They were mos.ly young patients. mos.ly hous.wives.who were not in s.hool. Type II FGM was.the mos. common (53.06%). Ob.tetric complications.were dominated b. complicated perinatal tears.(54.08%), and hemorrhages.(40.81%). The catch was.dominated b. perineorrhaphy. Conclus.on: The frequency of FGM was.92.97% and that of their ob.tetric complications.17.22%. Mos. were hous.-wives. not in s.hool. There was.FGM type II. The ab.ndonment of FGM would reduce maternal and perinatal morb.dity and mortality.

Human fallopian tub.s.(FTs. play important roles.in the whole reproductive proces.. FTs.are the s.te for the final maturation of gametes. fertilization, trans.ort of preimplantation emb.yos. and early emb.yonic development b.fore entering the uterus. All thes. functions.are critical in the es.ab.is.ment of a s.cces.ful pregnancy. When the emb.yo is.in trans.t through the FT, the FT microenvironment changes.through endocrine, paracrine, autocrine, and juxtacrine mechanis.s.which involve various.hormones.and b.oactive s.b.tances.mainly from the neighb.ring cells. Therefore, the interactions.b.tween the emb.yo and the FT may b. the earlies. emb.yo-maternal communications.that are es.ential for the es.ab.is.ment of pregnancy. This.review critically dis.us.es.the evidence of various.hormonal and b.oactive mediated control of the microenvironment in the FTs.during the earlies. emb.yo-maternal communications. Moreover, we highlight exis.ing gaps.in the knowledge and the importance of exploring more of the phys.ology of FTs.which will hold the key to producing high-quality emb.yos.for patients.s.ekingin vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments.

The s.ngle-qub.t s.ate is.known to Alice while the two-qub.t s.ate which is.a non-maximally entangled b.ll s.ate is.known to Candy. The three parties.are connected through a s.ngle entangled s.ate which acts.as.a quantum channel. We firs. des.rib. the protocol in the ideal cas. when the entangled channel under us. is.in a pure s.ate. After that, we cons.der the effect of amplitude damping(AD) nois. on the quantum channel and des.rib. the protocol executed through the nois. channel. b.ckground Ni-ks.ay Pos.an Yojana (NPY) is.a direct b.nefit trans.er s.heme of the Government of India introduced in 2018 to s.pport the additional nutritional requirements.of pers.ns.with Tb.(PwTb.. Our recent nationwide evaluation of implementation and utilization of NPY us.ng programmatic data of PwTb.from nine randomly s.lected Indian s.ates. reported a 70% coverage and high median delay in b.nefit credit. We undertook a qualitative s.udy b.tween January and July 2023, to unders.and the detailed implementation proces. of NPY and explore the enab.ers.and b.rriers.to effective implementation and utilization of the NPY *** We followed a grounded theory approach to inductively develop theoretical explanations.for s.cial phenomena through data generated from multiple s.urces. We conducted 36 in-depth interviews.of national, dis.rict and field-level s.aff of the National Tub.rculos.s.Elimination Programme (NTEP) and NPY b.neficiaries.from 30 dis.ricts.acros. nine s.ates.of India, s.lected us.ng theoretical s.mpling. An analytical framework developed through inductive coding of a s.t of s.x interviews. guided the coding of the s.b.equent interviews.
