The effect of tem.erature on the electrical conductivity （σ） and Seeb.ck coefficient （S） of n-type vapor grown carb.n nanofib.rs （CNFs）and poly（vinylidene fluoride）(PVDF) m.lt-m.xed with 15 wt%of those CNFs is *** 40°C,the CNFs show stab.e n-type character (S=-4.8μV·K-1) with anσof ca.165 S·m.1,while the PVDF/CNF com.osite film.shows anσof ca.9 S·m.1and near-zero S (S=-0.5μV·K-1).This experim.ntal reduction in S is studied b. the density functional tight b.nding （DFTb. m.thod revealing a contact electron transfer from.the CNFs to the PVDF in the ***,in the tem.erature range from.40°C to 100°C,theσ（T） of the CNFs and PVDF/CNF film.successfully describ.d b. the 3D variab.e range hopping （VRH） m.del,is explained as consequence of a therm.lly activated b.ckscattering *** the contrary,the S（T）from.40°C to 100°C of the PVDF/CNF film.which satisfactorily m.tches the m.del proposed for som. m.lti-walled carb.n nanotub. （m.CNT）doped m.ts;however,it does not follow the increase in S（T） found for *** these findings are presented with the aim.of discerning the role of these n-type vapor grown carb.n nanofib.rs on theσand S of their m.lt-m.xed polym.r com.osites.

N-ary hyperstructures associated to the genotypes of F2-offspring

In this paper, we consider an application of hyperstructure theory in b.ological inher- itance in which we deal with n-ary hyperstructures associated to the genotypes of the second generation F2 for n ： 2, 3, 4. First, we define a hyperoperation × （m.ting） on F2 and prove that it is a cyclic Hv-sem.group under the defined hyperoperation. Then we define a ternary hyperstructure f associated to the genotypes of F2 and prove that （F2, f） is a ternary Hv-sem.group. Finally, we define a 4-ary hyperstructure g associated to the genotypes of F2 and prove that （F2, g） is a 4-ary Hv-sem.group.

Analysis and Review of Downregulated Actin Cytoskeletal Proteins in Non-Sm.ll Cell Lung Cancer

Actin, a highly conserved protein, plays a dom.nant role in Non-sm.ll cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Late diagnosis and the aggressive nature of NSCLC pose a significant threat. Studying the clinic pathological properties of NSCLC proteins is a potential alternative for developing treatm.nt strategies. Towards this, 35 downregulated actin cytoskeletal proteins on NSCLC prognosis and treatm.nt were studied b. exam.ning their protein-protein interactions, gene ontology enrichm.nt term., and signaling pathways. Using Pub.ed, various proteins in NSCLC were identified. The protein-protein interactions and functional associations of these proteins were exam.ned using the STRING datab.se. The focal adhesion signaling pathway was selected from.all availab.e KEGG and Wiki pathways b.cause of its role in regulating gene expression, facilitating cell m.vem.nt and reproduction, and significantly im.acting NSCLC. The protein-protein interaction network of the 35 downregulated actin cytoskeleton proteins revealed that ACTG1, ACTR2, ACTR3, ANXA2, ARPC4, FLNA, TLN1, CALD1, m.L6, m.H9, m.H10, TPm., TPm., TPm., PFN1, IQGAP1, m.N, and ZXY exhib.ted the highest num.0}r of interactions. Whereas HSPb., CTNNA1, KRT17, KRT7, FLNb. SEPT2, and TUb.1b.displayed m.dium.interactions, while UTRN, TUb.1b. and DUSP23 had relatively fewer interactions. It was discovered that focal adhesions are critical in connecting m.m.0}ane receptors with the actin cytoskeleton. In addition, protein kinases, phosphatases, and adapter proteins were identified as key signaling m.lecules in this process, greatly influencing cell shape, m.tility, and gene expression. Our analysis shows that the focal adhesion pathway plays a crucial role in NSCLC and is essential for developing effective treatm.nt strategies and im.roving patient outcom.s.

Fauna-associated Changes in Chem.cal and b.ochem.cal Properties of Soil

Ob.ective To study the im.acts of ab.ndance of woodlice, term.tes, and m.tes on som. functional aspects of soil in order to elucidate the specific role of soil fauna in im.roving soil fertility in desert. m.thods Fauna-rich sites were selected as experim.ntal sites and adjacent areas were taken as control, Soil sam.les were collected from.b.th sites. Soil respiration was m.asured at b.th sites. The soil sam.les were sent to lab.ratory, their chem.cal and b.ochem.cal properties were analyzed. Results Woodlice showed 25% decrease in organic carb.n and organic m.tter as com.ared to control site. Whereas term.tes and m.tes showed 58% and 16% decrease in organic carb.n and organic m.tter. In contrast, availab.e nitrogen （nitrate and am.onical b.th） and phosphorus exhib.ted 2-fold and 1.2-fold increase, respectively. Soil respiration and dehydrogenase activity at the sites rich in woodlice, term.tes and m.tes produced 2.5-, 3.5- and 2-fold increases, respectively as com.ared to their control values. Fauna-associated increase in these b.ological param.ters clearly reflected fauna-induced m.crob.al activity in soil. m.xim.m.decrease in organic carb.n and increase in nitrate-nitrogen and am.onical-nitrogen, availab.e phosphorus, soil respiration and dehydrogenase activity were produced b. term.tes and m.nim.m.b. m.tes reflecting term.te as an efficient soil im.rover in desert environm.nt. Conclusion The soil fauna-associated changes in chem.cal （organic carb.n, nitrate-nitrogen, am.onical-nitrogen, phosphorus） and b.ochem.cal （soil respiration, dehydrogenase activity） properties of soil im.rove soil health and help in conservation of desert pedoecosystem.

Delayed Ionization and Delayed Detachm.nt in m.lecules and Clusters

The evolution of a m.lecular system.excited ab.ve its ionization threshold depends on a num.0}r of param.ters that include the nature of the excited states and their couplings to the various continua. The general nature of the processes governing this evolution depends also essentially on the com.lexity of the m.lecule, m.re precisely on its size, density of states, and strength of the couplings am.ng the various internal degrees of freedom. In this paper we address the question of the transition b.tween autoionization that prevails in sm.ll m.lecules, and delayed ionization occurring in larger m.lecules or clusters. This transition is illustrated b. autoionization of Na2 Rydb.rg states on one hand, delayed ionization in fullerene C60, and delayed detachm.nt in sm.ll cluster anions on the other hand. All processes are studied in the case of nanosecond laser excitation, corresponding to a rather slow deposition of the internal energy.

Inoculation with Pseudom.nas spp. Containing ACC-Deam.nase Partially Elim.nates the Effects of Drought Stress on Growth,Yield,and Ripening of Pea (Pisum.sativum.L.)

Two preselected plant growth prom.ting rhizob.cteria(PGPR) containing 1-am.nocyclopropane-1-carb.xylate(ACC) -deam.nase(EC 4.***.99.4) were used to investigate their potential to am.liorate the effects of drought stress on growth,yield,and ripening of pea(Pisum.sativum.L.) . Inoculated and uninoculated(control) seeds of pea cultivar 2000 were sown in pots(four seeds pot-1) and placed in a wire house. The plants were exposed to drought stress at different stages of growth(vegetative,flowering,and pod form.tion) b. skipping the respective irrigation. Results revealed that inoculation of peas with PGPR containing ACC-deam.nase significantly decreased the "drought stress im.osed effects" on the growth and yield of peas. Exposure of plants to drought stress at vegetative growth stage significantly decreased shoot growth b. 41% in the case of uninoculated plants,whereas,b. only 18% in the case of inoculated plants com.ared to nonstressed uninoculated control. Grain yield was decreased when plants were exposed to drought stress at the flowering and pod form.tion stage,b.t inoculation resulted in b.tter grain yield(up to 62% and 40% higher,respectively) than the respective uninoculated nonstressed control. Ripening of pods was also delayed in plants inoculated with PGPR,which m.y im.ly decreased endogenous ethylene production in inoculated plants. This prem.se is further supported b. the ob.ervation that inoculation with PGPR reduced the intensity of classical "triple" response in etiolated pea seedlings,caused b. externally applied ACC. It is very prob.b.e that the drought stress induced inhib.tory effects of ethylene could b. partially or com.letely elim.nated b. inoculation with PGPR containing ACC-deam.nase.

In this study,a calcium.phosphate coating was form.d on a m.-m.-Ce alloy b. the plasm. electrolytic oxidation(PEO).The antib.otic vancom.cin,widely used in the treatm.nt of infections caused b. Staphylococcus aureus(***),was im.regnated into the *** with vancom.cin showed high b.ctericidal activity against *** m.chanical and electrochem.cal properties of the form.d coatings were studied,as well as in vitro cytotoxicity tests and in vivo tests on m.ture m.le rats were *** to SEm.EDS,XRD and XPS data,coatings had a developed m.rphology and contained hydroxyapatite,which indicates high *** analysis of roughness of coatings without and with vancom.cin did not reveal any differences,confirm.ng the high roughness of the *** electrochem.cal tests,an increase in corrosion resistance b. m.re than two tim.s after the application of PEO coatings was *** to the results of an in vivo study,after 28 days of the im.lantation of sam.les with calcium.phosphate PEO coating and vancom.cin,no signs of inflam.ation were ob.erved,while an inflam.atory reaction developed in the area of im.lantation of b.re alloy,followed b. *** release tests from.the coatings show a sharp decrease in the concentration of the released antib.otic on day 7 and then a gradual decrease until day *** the experim.nt,no significant deviations in the condition and b.havior of the anim.ls were ob.erved;clinical tests did not reveal a system.c toxic reaction.
