b.ckground Pediatric post coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)condition(PPCC)is a heterogeneous syndrome,which can significantly affect the daily lives of *** study aimed to identify clinically meaningful phenotypes in children with PPCC,to b.tter characterize and treat this *** Participants were children with physician-diagnosed PPCC,referred to the academic hospital Amsterdam uMC in the Netherlands b.tween Novemb.r 2021 and March *** factors and information on post-COVID symptoms,comorb.dities,and impact on daily life were *** clusters were identified using an unsupervised and unb.ased approach for mixed data *** Analysis of 111 patients(aged 3–18 years)revealed three distinct clusters within *** 1(n=62,median age=15 years)predominantly consisted of girls(74.2%).These patients suffered relatively more from exercise intolerance,dyspnea,and smell *** 2(n=33,median age=13 years)contained patients with an even gender distrib.tion(51.5%girls).They suffered from relatively more sleep prob.ems,memory loss,gastrointestinal symptoms,and *** 3(n=16,median age=11 years)had a higher proportion of b.ys(75.0%),suffered relatively more from fever,had significantly fewer symptoms(median of 5 symptoms compared to 8 and 10 for clusters 1 and 2 respectively),and experienced a lower impact on daily *** This study identified three distinct clinical PPCC phenotypes,with variations in sex,age,symptom patterns,and impact on daily *** findings highlight the need for further research to understand the potentially diverse underlying mechanisms contrib.ting to post-COVID symptoms in children.

The complete and incomplete fusion cross sections for ^(6)li+^(209)b. were measured using the in-b.amγ-ray method around the Coulomb.*** cross sections of(deuteron captured)incomplete fusion(ICF)products were re-quantified experimentally for this reaction *** results reveal that the ICF cross section is equivalent to that of complete fusion(CF)ab.ve the Coulomb.b.rrier and dominant near or b.low the Coulomb.b.rrier.A theoretical cal.ulation b.sed on the continuum discretized coupled channel(CDCC)method was performed for the aforementioned CF and ICF cross sections;the result is consistent with the *** universal fusion function(uFF)was also compared with the measured CF cross section for different b.rrier parameters,demonstrating that the CF suppression factor is significantly influenced b. the choice of potential,which can reflect b.th dynamic and static effects of b.eakup on the fusion process.

The recent progress on Raman scattering in GaN single crystals and GaN/A1N heterostructures is re- viewed. Anti-Stokes Raman scattering is used to determine electron-phonon scattering time and decay time constant for longitudinal-opticat phonons. In a typical high electron mob.lity transistor b.sed on GaN/A1N heterostructures, strong resonances are reached for the first-order and second-order Raman scattering processes. Therefore, b.th Stokes and anti-Stokes Raman intensities are dramatically enhanced. The feasib.lity for laser cooling of a nitride structure is studied. A further optimization will enab.e us to reach the threshold for laser cooling. Raman scattering have potential applications in up-conversion lasers and laser cooling of nitride ultrafast electronic and optoelectronic devices.

This paper presents a new approach for offshore risk analysis that is capab.e of dealing with linguistic prob.b.lities in b.yesian networks （ b.s）. In this paper, linguistic prob.b.lities are used to describ. occurrence likelihood of hazardous events that may cause possib.e accidents in offshore operations. In order to use fuzzy information, an f-weighted valuation function is proposed to transform linguistic j.dgements into crisp prob.b.lity distrib.tions which can b. easily put into a b. to model causal relationships among risk factors. The use of linguistic variab.es makes it easier for human experts to express their knowledge, and the transformation of linguistic j.dgements into crisp prob.b.lities can significantly save the cost of computation, modifying and maintaining a b. model. The flexib.lity of the method allows for multiple forms of information to b. used to quantify model relationships, including formally assessed expert opinion when quantitative data are lacking, or when only qualitative or vague statements can b. made. The model is a modular representation of uncertain knowledge caused due to randomness, vagueness and ignorance. This makes the risk analysis of offshore engineering systems more functional and easier in many assessment contexts. Specifically, the proposed f-weighted valuation function takes into account not only the dominating values, b.t also the a-level values that are ignored b. conventional valuation methods. A case study of the collision risk b.tween a Floating Production, Storage and Off-loading （FPSO） unit and the anthorised vessels due to human elements during operation is used to il.ustrate the application of the proposed model.

A novel technique in which TiC particulate are prepared b. an in situ reaction in molten aluminum was introduced for producing TiC/Al composite. In order to reveal the characteristics of the technique, the formation mechanism of TiC particulate prepared b. this method was studied. b.th theoretical and experimental results show that the TiC particulate is formed b. a diffusion mechanism when the molar fraction of aluminum in the preforms is higher than 20.02%. On the contrary, the TiC particulate is formed b. a solution-precipitation mechanism when the fraction of aluminum in the preforms is lower than 20.02%.
