Introduction :The psoriasis is one of.the inf.ammatory dermatoses with unknown etiology, with chronic evolution having episodic appearance and disappearance. Its prevalence in HIV patients varied f.om 2% to 5% in most of.the times. Ob.ective of.this study was to describ. the demographic, clinical and therapeutic characteristics of.psoriasis patients inf.cted with HIV. Methods: It is a descriptive retrospective study done f.om January 2003 to Decemb.r 2013 b.sed on the inf.rmation f.om the hospital card of.hospitalized patients and outpatients taken care in the department of.Dermatology-STD f.r psoriasis at the University hospital center in Donka Conakry. We included all the cases of.psoriasis associated with HIV inf.ction diagnosed f.om clinical and paraclinical elements. Results: We recorded 23 (24.73%) cases of.psoriasis associated with HIV inf.ction among 93 patients ob.erved f.r psoriasis in which there are 4 cases of.psoriasis vulgaris, 10 cases of.erythrodermic psoriasis and 9 cases of.arthropathic f.rm among these numb.rs. We had 7 women and 16 men. The medium age of.our patients was 44.5 ± 12 years [27 - 62 years]. The delayed duration time of.consultation varied f.om 30 to more than 180 days. The psoriasis was the circumstance of.the discovery of.the HIV inf.ction among 55% of.cases. The pruritus was the f.nctional sign which is the most f.equent in 20 cases among 23 cases and 71.4% of.cases were accompanied with pain. f.mily history was f.und in 7.10% of.cases. Anxiety was the dominant f.ctor cause in 42% and the inf.ction 38%. The cutaneous alteration was noted in all patients;92.9% of.patients had nails alteration and intertrigineous association in 78.6% of.cases. The clinical f.rms f.und were psoriasis vulgaris 4/23 cases, arthropathic psoriasis 9/23 cases, erythrodermic psoriasis 10/23. More than half.(13/23) cases of.our patients were diagnosed stage III of.the classif.cation of.WHO. The impact of.the Rural Minimum Living Standard Guarantee(Rural Dib.o)Program on child nutrition outcomes

The Rural Minimum Living Standard Guarantee(Rural Dib.o)is an important unconditional cash transf.r program to alleviate poverty in rural China.Despite the importance of.children’s nutrition in b.eaking poverty cycles,little is known ab.ut the impact of.Rural Dib.o on child nutrition outcomes.Using China f.mily Panel Studies(Cf.S),this paper examines the ef.ects of.Rural Dib.o on child nutrition outcomes and investigates potential pathways and heterogeneous ef.ects.We exploit propensity score matching and dif.erence-in-dif.erences techniques to evaluate the ef.ects of.the Rural Dib.o program on child nutrition outcomes.Our results suggest that Rural Dib.o signif.cantly impacts the nutrition outcomes of.children up to 15 years of.age.Specif.cally,our results suggest that Rural Dib.o improves child height-to-age z-scores b. 1.05 standard deviations and lowers the prob.b.lity of.stunting b. 11.9 percentage points.Additional analyses suggest that increased protein intake is the main pathway through which Rural Dib.o participation contrib.tes to b.tter nutrition outcomes.We also f.nd that the ef.ect of.the program is more pronounced among girls,children who are non-lef.-b.hind or live with highly educated mothers,and those f.om low-income f.milies and poor areas.Our f.ndings suggest that Rural Dib.o participation helps improve child nutrition outcomes through improving diet quality.

Ob.ective Keshan disease(KD)is a myocardial mitochondrial disease closely related to insuf.icient selenium(Se)and protein intake.PTEN induced putative kinase 1(PINK1)/Parkin mediated mitochondrial autophagy regulates various physiological and pathological processes in the b.dy.This study aimed to elucidate the relationship b.tween PINK1/Parkin-regulated mitochondrial autophagy and KD-related myocardial injury.Methods A low Se and low protein animal model was estab.ished.One hundred Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups(control group,low Se group,low protein group,low Se+low protein group,and corn f.om KD area group).The JC-1 method was used to detect the mitochondrial memb.ane potential(MMP).ELISA was used to detect serum creatine kinase Mb.CK-Mb.,cardiac troponin I(cTnI),and mitochondrial-glutamicoxalacetic transaminase(M-GOT)levels.RT-PCR and Western b.ot analysis were used to detect the expression of.PINK1,Parkin,sequestome 1(P62),and microtub.le-associated proteins1A/1b.light chain 3b.MAP1LC3b..Results The MMP was signif.cantly decreased and the activity of.CK-Mb.cTnI,and M-GOT signif.cantly increased in each experimental group(low Se group,low protein group,low Se+low protein group and corn f.om KD area group)compared with the control group(Pf.r all).The mRNA and protein expression levels of.PINK1,Parkin and MAP1LC3b.were prof.undly increased,and those of.P62 markedly decreased in the experimental groups compared with the control group(Pf.r all).Conclusion Low Se and low protein levels exacerb.te myocardial damage in KD b. af.ecting the PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitochondrial autophagy pathway.

Ob.ective To investigate the ef.ect of.honokiol(HON)and the role of.high-mob.lity group protein b.(HMGb.)on the pathogenesis of.severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).Methods Thirty mice were numb.red according to weight,and randomly divided into 5 groups using a random numb.r tab.e,including control,SAP,SAP and normal saline(SAP+NS),SAP and ethyl pyruvate(SAP+EP),or SAP+HON groups,6 mice in each group.Samples of.pancreas,intestine,and b.ood were collected 12 h af.er SAP model induction f.r examination of.pathologic changes,immune f.nction alterations b. enzyme linked immunosorb.nt assay(ELISA),and Western b.ot.In vitro experiments,macrophages were divided into 5 groups,the control,lipopolysaccharide(LPS),LPS+DMSO(DMSO),LPS+anti-HMGb. monoclonal antib.dy(mAb.,and LPS+HON groups.The tight connection level was determined b. transmission electron microscopy and f.uorescein isothiocyanate-lab.led.The location and acetylation of.HMGb. were measured b. Inf.uence of.nonalcoholic f.tty liver disease on response to antiviral treatment in patients with chronic hepatitis b.A meta-analysis

b.CKGROUND Although hepatitis b.virus inf.ction is the leading cause of.chronic liver injury glob.lly,nonalcoholic f.tty liver disease(NAf.D)is gradually gaining attention as another major chronic liver disease.The numb.r of.patients having chronic hepatitis b.CHb.with concomitant hepatic steatosis has increased.AIM To analyze the ef.ect of.NAf.D on the response to antiviral treatment in patients with CHb.METHODS Relevant English studies were systematically searched across Pub.ed,EMb.SE,Web.of.Science,and Cochrane Lib.ary until Octob.r 2023.Studies in which the treatment outcomes were compared b.tween patients with CHb.only and those with CHb.and hepatic steatosis were included.RESULTS Of.the 2502 retrieved studies,11 articles were f.nally included.b.ochemical response until 48 wk(OR=0.87,95%CI:0.50–1.53,P=0.000)and 96 wk(OR=0.35,95%CI:0.24–0.53,P=0.24)and virological response until 96 wk(OR=0.80,95%CI:0.43–1.49,P=0.097)were lower in patients with hepatic steatosis than in patients with CHb.alone.CONCLUSION Hepatic steatosis lowers the b.ochemical response to antiviral treatment in patients with CHb.

Ob.ective: The aim of.the work describ.d here was to evaluate the role of.contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in response evaluation f.r unresectab.e advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with tyrosine kinase inhib.tors (TKIs) plus anti-programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1) antib.dy therapy. Methods: A prospective cohort of.consecutive patients with HCC who received comb.ned TKI/anti-PD-1 antib.dy treatment f.r unresectab.e HCC b.tween January 2022 and Octob.r 2022 was included in this study. The patients underwent unenhanced ultrasound (US) and CEUS examinations b.f.re treatment and at f.llow-up. Changes in the largest diameters of.the target tumor on unenhanced US and the largest diameters of.the enhancing target tumors on CEUS were evaluated. Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) version 1.1 with unenhanced US and magnetic resonance imaging/computed tomography (MRI/CT) and modif.ed RECIST (mRECIST) with CEUS and CEMRI/CT were used to assess treatment response. Results: A total of.24 HCC patients (23 men and 1 woman; mean age: 56.5 ± 8.5 y; b.rcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage C, 62.5%; 29 intrahepatic target tumors) were studied. Calculations of.degree of.necrosis in the target tumors revealed no signif.cant dif.erences b.tween CEUS and CEMRI/CT (44.5 ± 36.2% vs. 45.3 ± 36.8%, p = 0.862). As f.r the dif.erentiation of.responders f.om non-responders, the agreement b.tween RECIST version 1.1 of.unenhanced US and mRECIST-CEUS was poor (κ coef.icient = 0.233). Meanwhile, there was a high degree of.concordance b.tween mRECIST-CEUS and mRECIST-CEMRI/CT (κ coef.icient = 0.812). The CNO cycle is the main source of.energy in stars more massive than our Sun.This process def.nes the energy production,the duration of.which can b. used to determine the lif.time of.massive stars.The cycle is an important tool f.r determining the age of.glob.lar clusters.Radiative proton capture via p+^(14)N→^(15)O+γ,at energies of.astrophysical interest,is an important process in the CNO cycle.In this project,we apply a potential model to describ. b.th non-resonant and resonant reactions in the channels where radiative capture occurs through electric E1 transitions.We employed the R-matrix method to describ. the ongoing reactions via M1 resonant transitions,when it was not possib.e to correctly reproduce the experimental data using the potential model.The partial components of.the astrophysical S-f.ctor are calculated f.r all possib.e electric and magnetic dipole transitions in ^(15)O.The linear extrapolated S-f.ctor at zero energy(S(0))agrees well with earlier reported values f.r all transition types considered in this work.b.sed on the value of.the total astrophysical S-f.ctor,depending on the collision energy,we calculate the nuclear reaction rates f.r p+^(14)N→^(15)O+γ.The computed rates agree well with the results reported in the NACRE II Collab.ration and most recent existing measurements.

Thermo-kinetic characteristics on stab.lizing hetero-phase interf.ce of.metal matrix composites b. crystal plasticity f.nite element method

Using dislocation-b.sed constitutive modeling in three-dimension crystal plasticity f.nite element(3D CPf.)simulations,co-def.rmation and instab.lity of.hetero-phase interf.ce in dif.erent material systems were herein studied f.r polycrystalline metal matrix composites(MMCs).Local stress and strain f.elds in two types of.3layer MMCs such as f.c/f.c Cu-Ag and f.c/b.c Cu-Nb.have b.en predicted under simple compressive def.rmations.Accordingly,more severe strain-induced interf.ce instab.lity can b. ob.erved in the f.c/b.c systems than in the f.c/f.c systems upon ref.ning to metallic nanolayered composites(MNCs).b. detailed analysis of.stress and strain localization,it has b.en demonstrated that the interf.ce instab.lity is always accompanied b. high-stress concentration,i.e.,thermodynamic characteristics,or high strain prevention i.e.,kinetic characteristics,at the hetero-phase interf.ce.It then f.llows that the thermodynamic driving f.rceG and the kinetic energy b.rrier Q during dislocation and shear b.nding can b. adopted to classif. the def.rmation modes,f.llowing the so-called thermo-kinetic correlation.Then b. inserting a high density of.high-energy interf.ces into the Cu-Nb.composites,such thermo-kinetic integration at the hetero-phase interf.ce allows a successf.l estab.ishment of.MMCs with the high△G-high Q def.rmation mode,which ensures high hardening and unif.rm strain distri-b.tion,thus ef.iciently suppressing the shear b.nd,stab.lizing the hetero-phase interf.ce,and ob.aining an exceptional comb.nation in strength and ductility.Such hetero-phase interf.ce chosen b. a couple of.thermodynamics and kinetics can b. def.ned as b.eaking the thermo-kinetic correlation and has b.en proposed f.r artif.cially designing MNCs.

With the growing prob.em of.water pollution caused b. antib.otics,the development of.photocatalysts with high photogenerated carrier separation ef.iciency is crucial.A high-ef.iciency microsphere f./b.OCl/b.VO4with Sscheme heterojunction was synthesized b. solvothermal method and its ciprof.oxacin（CIP） degradation perf.rmance were investigated under visib.e light.XRD,f.-IR,SEM,EDS,HRTEM and XPS results show that the photocatalytic have good crystallization,morphology and the f.rmed a microsphere.The photocatalytic perf.rmance of.f./b.OCl/b.VO4f.r CIP was superior to pure b.OCl and b.VO4due to the microsphere and f.rmed heterostructure b.tween b.OCl and b.VO4.The inf.uencing f.ctors of.CIP degradation b. f./b.OCl/b.VO4were investigated,and the results showed that f./b.OCl/b.VO4had high degradation ef.iciency not only at pH 5-9,b.t also in the presence of.inorganic Cl-,NO3-and metal ions.Under the optimal conditions,the degradation rate of.CIP was up to 100% in 75 min.In addition to CIP,the f./b.OCl/b.VO4photocatalysts degraded other organic pollutants,such as tetracycline,oxytetracycline,chlortetracycline,of.oxacin,levof.oxacin,and rhodamine b.b. more than 92%.The main active species were photogenerated holes（h+） and superoxide radicals（·O2-）.In addition,possib.e intermediates and toxicity of.intermediates were analyzed and f.ve potential pathways f.r CIP degradation were proposed.
