Goal: d.termining the place of Uricemia associated.with other b.ochemical makers in the pred.ction of fetal-maternal complications d.ring preeclampsia. Material and.method. This is a prospective, cross-sectional stud. of 75 pre-eclamptic women in three maternities in Kinshasa, d.mocratic Repub.ic of Congo, d.ring the January to d.cemb.r 2013. The values of the following b.ochemical markers: uricemia, proteinuria and.creatinemia were correlated.with maternal and.fetal prognosis. Results: This stud. showed.that hyper uricemia associated.with massive proteinuria and.a high creatinine level correlated.with an unfavorab.e pregnancy outcome and.the occurrence of major materno-fetal complications such as eclampsia (X-squared.= 24.3598, d.l = 2, p-value = 0.000005) and.low b.rth weight (p = 0.001, R2 = 0.08). Conclusion: In view of these results, it appears necessary to ensure these b.ochemical markers systematically in the monitoring of pre-eclampsia.

In this paper the authors consid.r the operational prob.em of optimal signalling and.control,called.control-cod.ng capacity(with feed.0}ck), CF b.in b.ts/second. of d.screte-time nonlinear partially ob.ervab.e stochastic systems in state space form, sub.ect to an average cost constraint. CF b.is the maximum rate of encod.ng signals or messages into rand.mized.controller-encod.r strategies with feed.0}ck, which control the state of the system, and.reprod.cing the messages at the output of the system using a d.cod.r or estimator with arb.trary small asymptotic error prob.b.lity. In the first part of the paper, the authors characterize CF b.b. an information theoretic optimization prob.em of maximizing d.rected.information from the inputs to the outputs of the system, over rand.mized.strategies(controller-encod.rs). The authors d.rive equivalent characterizations of CF b. using rand.mized.strategies generated.b. either uniform or arb.trary d.strib.ted.rand.m variab.es(RVs), sufficient statistics,and.a posteriori d.strib.tions of nonlinear filtering theory. In the second.part of the paper, the authors analyze CF b.for linear-quad.atic Gaussian partially ob.ervab.e stochastic systems(LQG-POSSs). The authors show that rand.mized.strategies consist of control, estimation and.signalling parts, and.the sufficient statistics are, two Kalman-filters and.an orthogonal innovations process. The authors prove a semi-separation principle which states, the optimal control strategy is d.termined.explicitly from the solution of a control matrix d.fference Riccati equation(d.E), ind.pend.ntly of the estimation and.signalling strategies. Finally, the authors express the optimization prob.em of CF b.in terms of two filtering matrix d.Es, a control matrix d.E, and.the covariance of the innovations process. Low gold.and.silver leaching kinetics has b.en commonly ob.erved.in trad.tional gold.silver cyanid.tion process, especially in heap leaching and.in situ leaching operations. The d.fferent mineralogy of gold.and.silver in the ores is suspected.to b. the main reason, e.g., the occurrence of low solub.lity acanthite (Ag2S) typically results in low overall silver extraction. d.e to the low solub.lity of oxygen in cyanid. solution, the reactivity and.availab.lity of oxid.nt is b.lieved.to b. the critical limitation for gold.and.silver d.ssolution. The use of ferricyanid. as the auxiliary oxid.nt for gold.and.silver cyanid.tion has b.en examined. The rotating d.sc test results prove the assistant effect of ferricyanid. on increasing the d.ssolution rate of gold.and.silver. The potential use of ferricyanid. in gold.silver cyanid.tion process is proposed.b.sed.on the leaching results of actual ores.

Introd.ction: Primary polyd.psia, frequently ob.erved.in patients with schizophrenia, can cause severe hyponatremia, lead.ng to serious complications. Ob.ective: This stud. reviews the management and.prevalence of psychogenic polyd.psia, focusing on treatments and.clinical outcomes. Method.: Following the PRISMA guid.lines, stud.es on polyd.psia in psychiatric patients were includ.d. d.ta were extracted.from d.tab.ses such as Pub.ed.and.Scopus, and.a meta-analysis was performed. Results: Fifteen stud.es were analyzed. totaling 586 patients. The use of urea was effective in correcting hyponatremia, while antipsychotics showed.mixed.results. Heterogeneity b.tween stud.es was mod.rate (I2 = 56%). Conclusion: Psychogenic polyd.psia is a severe cond.tion in schizophrenic patients. The use of urea has shown promise, b.t further stud.es are need.d.to optimize treatments.

The b.sic mob.le IP protocol is d.fficult to implement on the trad.tional IP network and.not flexib.e and.efficient und.r certain cond.tions. For example, firewalls or b.und. ary routers may d.op packets sent b. mob.le nod.s for security reasons. Trad.tional networking d.vices such as routers cannot d.namically load.and.unload.extend.d.services to achieve d.ffer- ent qualities of services. In this paper, a new scheme of using the active network to support the mob.le IP is presented. The Softnet, a prototype of active networks b.sed.on mob.le agents, is introd.ced. The active network is characterized.b. the programmab.lity of its intermed.ate nod.s and.therefore presents d.namic and.flexib.e b.haviors. Special services can b. d.nam- ically d.ployed.onto the active nod.s in the Softnet. This property is d.finitely required.in implementing the mob.le IP protocols. The Softnet supports not only the b.sic mob.le IP pro- tocol b.t also other extend.d.mob.Ie IP protocols. Virtual networks for mob.le IP services are d.namically formed.b. mob.le agents in the Softnet to provid. d.fferent qualities of services.

We show b. an extensive method.of quasi-d.screte multiple-scale approximation that nonlinear multi-d.mensional lattice waves sub.ected.to intersite and.external on-site potentials are found.to b. governed.b. （N＋ 1 ）-d.mensional nonlinear Schr6d.nger （NLS） equation. In particular, the resonant mod. interaction of （2＋l）-d.mensional NLS equation has b.en id.ntified.and.the theory allows the inclusion of transverse effect. We apply the exponential function method.to the （2＋ I ）- d.mensional NLS equation and.ob.ain the class of soliton solutions with a purely algeb.aic computational method. Notab.y, we d.scuss in d.tail the effects of the external on-site potentials on the explicit form of the soliton solution generated.recursively. Und.r the action of the external on-site potentials, the mod.l presents a rich variety of oscillating multid.omion patterns propagating in the system.

Platforms I and.II are steel structures located.in offshore areas southeast of the Zhujiang (Pearl) River d.lta, the northern South China Sea,. in ab.ut 110 in water d.pth. The jackets, with aluminum sacrificial anod.s for cathod.c protection (CP) of the immersed.zone, were launched.in March 1995. In May 096 a CP survey showed.that, after almost one year of service, a low polarization level had.b.en achieved.and.some extend.d.unprotected.zones existed. mainly in the d.epest part of the Platform II. Further to this, a joint activity was d.cid.d.in ord.r to assess the need.of a possib.e retrofitting of the CP systems. The results of the activity carried.out are d.alt with, includ.ng technical and.economical comparisons amongst several retrofitting options, b.th with sacrificial anod.s and.with impressed.current systems. The ad.pted.solution is illustrated.and.d.ta are reported.on the level of protection presently achieved.
