The advancement in technologies made the entire manufacturing system,to be operated with more efficient,flexible,user friendly,more productive and cost *** such a system to be focused for advancement is plasma cutting system,which has wider industrial *** are many researches pursuing at various area of plasma cutting technology,still the automated and optimized parameters value selection is *** work is aimed to eliminate the manual mode of feeding the input parameters for cutting *** present,cutting parameters are fed by referring the past cut data information or with the assistance of experienced *** cutting process parameters selections will have direct impact on the quality of the material being cut,and life of the *** paper is intended to automate the process parameters selection by developing the mathematical model with existing cutting process parameters *** this,three different approaches,multiple regression,multiple polynomial regression and AI technique,are selected and analyzed with the mathematical relations developed between the different cutting process *** accuracy and reliability of those methods are *** advantage and disadvantage of those methods for optimal setting conditions are *** appropriate method that can be preferred for automated and optimal settings are ***,the selected technique is checked for accuracy and reliability for the existing cut data.

Ethnobotanical survey of medicinal plants used in the management of cancer and diabetes

ObJECTIVE:To conduct an ethnobotanical survey and document the traditional anticancer and antidiabetic plants used by the local tribes of Mizoram,Northeast ***:A systematic survey was conducted in rural and urban areas of Mizoram by interviewing traditional practitioners,and cancer and diabetes patients.A detailed literature search was carried out using MEDLINE and SCOPUS and available literatures were selected and included in the *** use value(UV)of the selected plants was calculated based on the number of citations per species given by ***:Data was obtained for 201 traditional medicinal plants from Mizoram,Northeast *** plants were from 72 different families and belonged to 140 *** these,103 plants were reported for the first time as possessing either anticancer or antidiabetic potential,and 105 plants were identified that were used for the treatment of both *** plants(Phlogacanthus thysiformis,Solanum gilo and Lobelia angulata)with antidiabetic potential,and six plants(Dillenia scabrella,Circium sinesis,Eupatorium nodiflorum,Pratia begonifolia,Vernonia teres and Plantago erosa)with both as anticancer and antidiabetic potential were documented for the first ***:In this study,we documented several explored and unexplored medicinal plants that may be useful for the management of cancer and *** study suggests that there is a broad scope fordeveloping potent anticancer and antidiabetic agent from the flora of Mizoram,Northeast India.

A hierarchical clustering approach for colorectal cancer molecular subtypes identification from gene expression data

background Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the second leading cause of cancer fatalities and the third most common human *** molecular subgroups of CRC and treating patients accordingly could result in better therapeutic success compared with treating all CRC patients *** have highlighted the significance of CRC as a major cause of mortality worldwide and the potential benefits of identifying molecular subtypes to tailor treatment strategies and improve patient *** This study proposed an unsupervised learning approach using hierarchical clustering and feature selection to identify molecular subtypes and compares its performance with that of conventional *** proposed model contained gene expression data from CRC patients obtained from Kaggle and used dimension reduction techniques followed by Z-score-based outlier *** hierarchy clustering was used to identify molecular subtypes,with a P-value-based approach for feature *** performance of the model was evaluated using various classifiers including multilayer perceptron(MLP).Results The proposed methodology outperformed conventional methods,with the MLP classifier achieving the highest accuracy of 89%after feature *** model successfully identified molecular subtypes of CRC and differentiated between different subtypes based on their gene expression *** This method could aid in developing tailored therapeutic strategies for CRC patients,although there is a need for further validation and evaluation of its clinical significance.

In the domain of perovskite solar cells(PSCs),the imperative to reconcile impressive photovoltaic performance with lead-related issue and environmental stability has driven innovative *** study pioneers an approach that not only rectifies lead leakage but also places paramount importance on the attainment of rigorous interfacial *** ethers,notably benzo-18-crown-6-ether(b18C6),were strategically integrated at the perovskite-hole transport material *** ethers exhibit a dual role:efficiently sequestering and immobilizing Pb^(2+)ions through host-guest complexation and simultaneously establishing a robust interfacial passivation *** crown ether candidates,guided by density functional theory(DFT)calculations,demonstrated proficiency in binding Pb2+ions and optimizing interfacial *** devices incorporating these materials achieved exceptional power conversion efficiency(PCE),notably 21.7%for b18C6,underscoring their efficacy in lead binding and interfacial *** techniques,including time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(ToF-SIMS),ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy(UPS),time-resolved photoluminescence(TRPL),and transient absorption spectroscopy(TAS),unequivocally affirmed Pb^(2+)ion capture and suppression of non-radiative ***,these PSCs maintained efficiency even after enduring 300 h of exposure to 85%relative *** research underscores the transformative potential of crown ethers,simultaneously addressing lead binding and stringent interfacial passivation for sustainable PSCs poised to commercialize and advance renewable energy applications.

甲醛(FA)作为一种有致癌风险的有害污染物,在室内环境中普遍存在.为了高效去除甲醛,催化氧化技术成为了一种既经济又节能的选择,它不仅能降低材料成本(例如避免使用贵金属),也能在无光和室温的条件下进行.本文制备了一种成本效益高的碱改性锰酸铜尖晶石(CuMn^(2)O_(4))催化剂,并用于甲醛催化氧化反应中.实验结果表明,采用碱(1 mol L^(-1)氢氧化钾)改性的CuMn^(2)O_(4)(1-CuMn^(2)O_(4))作为催化剂,在室温条件下,当甲醛浓度为50 ppm,气体空速为4777 h^(-1)时,甲醛转化率(XFA)达到100%;此外,在甲醛转化率为10%时,其稳态反应速率达到了8.18×10^(-2) mmol g^(-1) h^(-1).原位漫反射红外傅立叶变换光谱结果表明,在催化剂的作用下,甲醛分子经过二氧亚甲基和甲酸酯中间体的转化,最终被氧化为水和二氧化碳.进一步结合密度泛函理论模拟发现,1-CuMn^(2)O_(4)具有较高的催化氧化甲醛性能,可归因于甲醛分子更牢固地吸附在1-CuMn^(2)O_(4)表面,甲醛吸附所需的能量较低,以及最终产物从催化剂表面脱附所需的能量也较低的综合效应.本研究为在无光和室温条件下,高效去除空气中甲醛提供了新型高效、成本效益高且无需贵金属的催化剂,从而为室内空气净化提供了新的科学见解.

Effect of Pulsed Current TIG Welding Parameters on Pitting Corrosion behaviour of AA6061 Aluminium Alloy

Medium strength aluminium alloy （Al-Mg-Si alloy） has gathered wide acceptance in the fabrication of light weight structures requiring a high strength-to weight ratio, such as transportable bridge girders, military vehicles, road tankers and railway transport systems. The preferred welding process for aluminium alloy is frequently TIG （tungsten inert gas） welding due to its comparatively easier applicability and better *** the case of single pass TIG welding of thinner section of this alloy, the pulsed current has been found beneficial due to its advantages over the conventional continuous current process. The use of pulsed current parameters has been found to improve the mechanical properties of the welds compared to those of continuous current welds of this alloy due to grain refinement occurring in the fusion zone. A mathematical model has been developed to predict pitting corrosion potential of pulsed current TIG welded AA6061 aluminium *** experimental design has been used to optimize the experimental conditions. Analysis of variance technique has been used to find out the significant pulsed current parameters. Regression analysis has been used to develop the model. Using the developed model pitting corrosion potential values have been estimated for different combinations of pulsed current parameters and the results are analyzed in detail.

Machine learning has been increasingly used in ***,in organic chemistry and other experiment-based fields,data collected from real experiments are inadequate and the current coronavirus disease(COVID-19)pandemic has made the situation even *** limited data resources may result in the low performance of modeling and affect the proper development of a control *** paper proposes a feasible machine learning solution to the problem of small sample size in the biopolymerization *** avoid overfitting,the variational auto-encoder and generative adversarial network algorithms are used for data *** random forest and artificial neural network algorithms are implemented in the modeling *** results prove that data augmentation techniques effectively improve the performance of the regression *** machine learning models were compared and the experimental results show that the random forest model with data augmentation by the generative adversarial network technique achieved the best performance in predicting the molecular weight on the training set(with an R^(2) of 0.94)and on the test set(with an R^(2) of 0.74),and the coefficient of determination of this model was 0.74.
