Decision making in drinking water supply networks is increasingly complex due to the large number of variables *** order to make better decisions it is necessary to use adequate and robust *** paper presents the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)related to the operation of the drinking water supply network of the city of Chihuahua,Mexico,where two possible alternatives are delineated with the objective to optimize the *** application of AHP was carried out in 24 sectors that have substantial differences in their efficiency but with instrumentation and measurement in all the variables contemplated by the operating agency,with a population of 221,722 inhabitants which represent a 30%of the total population of the city,the results indicate that the best alternative is the one with less criteria to be controlled and fewer repercussions on the cost of operation and investment in the rehabilitation and replacement of the network.

This paper brings the comparison of performances of CO_(2)conversion by plasma and plasma-assisted catalysis based on the data collected from literature in this field,organised in an open access online *** tool is open to all users to carry out their own analyses,but also to contributors who wish to add their data to the database in order to improve the relevance of the comparisons made,and ultimately to improve the efficiency of CO_(2)conversion by *** creation of this database and database user interface is motivated by the fact that plasma-catalysis is a fast-growing field for all CO_(2)conversion processes,be it methanation,dry reforming of methane,methanolisation,or *** a result of this rapid increase,there is a need for a set of standard procedures to rigorously compare performances of different ***,this is currently not possible because the fundamental mechanisms of plasma-catalysis are still too poorly understood to define these standard *** however,the accumulated data within the CO_(2)plasma-catalysis community has become large enough to warrant so-called“big data”studies more familiar in the fields of medicine and the social *** enable comparisons between multiple data sets and make future research more effective,this work proposes the first database on CO_(2)conversion performances by plasma-catalysis open to the whole *** database has been initiated in the framework of a H_(2)0_(2)0 European project and is called the“PIONEER Data base”.The database gathers a large amount of CO_(2)conversion performance data such as conversion rate,energy efficiency,and selectivity for numerous plasma sources coupled with or without a *** data set is associated with metadata describing the gas mixture,the plasma source,the nature of the catalyst,and the form of coupling with the *** the database itself,a data extraction tool with direct visualisation features or advance

AIM:To demonstrate that CD14 + cells are an important source of the growth factor YKL40 in acute and chronic liver ***:Rats were inoculated with one dose of CCl4 to induce acute *** biopsies were obtained at 0,6,12,24,48 and 72 *** chronic damage,CCl4 was administered three days per week for 6 or 8 *** samples were collected,and cellular populations were isolated by liver digestion and purified by cell ***40 mRNA and protein expression were evaluated by realtime polymerase chain reaction and western ***:Acute liver damage induced a rapid increase of YKL40 mRNA beginning at 12 *** peaked at 24 h,with a 26fold increase over basal *** 72 h however,YKL40 expression levels had nearly returned to control *** the other hand,chronic damage induced a sustained increase in YKL40 expression,with 7and 9fold higher levels at 6 and 8 wk,*** pattern of YKL40 expression in different subpopulations showed that CD14+cells,which include Kupffer cells,are a source of YKL40 after acute damage at 72 h[0.09 relative expression units(REU)]as well as after chronic injury at 6 wk(0.11 REU).Hepatocytes,in turn,accounted for 0.06 and 0.01 REU after 72 h(acute)or 6 wk(chronic),*** rest of the CD14cells(including T lymphocytes,b lymphocytes,natural killer and natural killer T cells) yielded 0.07 and 0.15 REU at 72 h and 6 wk,***40 protein expression in liver was detected at 72 h as well as 6 and 8 wk,with the highest expression relative to controls(11fold;P≤0.05)seen at 6 *** were stimulated by *** demonstrate that under these conditions,these cells showed maximum expression of YKL40 at 12 h,with Pbrogenesis.

Objective. The host immune response is essential for restraining both HPV infections and HPV- related cervical cancer. We previously reported a direct correlation between proteolytic activity and malignant progression from precursor lesions to invasive cervical carcinoma. The present study was undertaken to investigate whether proteinases from cervical carcinoma extracts and representative purified proteinases involved in tumor progression could regulate lymphocyte proliferation to phytohemagglutinin (PHA) mitogen. Methods. Extracts were prepared from tissue samples obtained from patients with invasive cervical squamous carcinoma, squamous intra- epithelial lesions or women with normal cervix. Lymphocytes obtained from a single healthy donor were pre- incubated with one of these extracts in the presence or absence of proteinase inhibitors, and stimulated with PHA during 72 h. The proliferative response was measured using the 3- (4,5- dimethyl- thiazol- 2- yl)- 2,5- diphenyl- tetrazolium bromide (MTT) method (re- validated with thymidine uptake). Results. Lymphocyte proliferation was significantly decreased by cervical carcinoma extracts, while only slightly decreased by squamous intra- ep- ithelial lesions or normal extracts. Inhibitor assays indicated that proteinases from cervical carcinoma were responsible for 53.30% of total suppressive activity. We found that purified enzymes such as trypsin, cathepsin b, uPA and type IV collagenase suppressed the proliferative response in a dose- dependent fashion. Conclusions. Our data suggest that in addition to the classic role in tumor invasion, proteases could represent an immune evasion mechanism in cervical carcinoma.

Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the second leading cause of cancer-related death *** five-year survival rate of CRC patients depends on the stage at diagnosis,being higher than 80%when CRC is diagnosed in the early stages but lower than 10%when CRC is diagnosed in advanced *** against specific CRC autoantigens(tumor-associated antigens(TAAs))in the sera of patients have been widely demonstrated to aid in early ***,we herein aim to identify autoantigens target of autoantibodies specific to CRC that possess a significant ability to discriminate between CRC patients and healthy individuals by means of liquid *** that end,we examined the protein content of the exosomes released by five CRC cell lines and tissue samples from CRC patients by means of immunoprecipitation coupled with mass spectrometry analysis.A total of 103 proteins were identified as potential autoantigens specific to *** bioinformatics and meta-analysis,we selected 15 proteins that are more likely to be actual CRC autoantigens in order to evaluate their role in CRC prognosis by Western blot(Wb)and immunohistochemistry(IHC).We found dysregulation at the protein level for 11 of these proteins in both tissue and plasma exosome samples from patients,along with an association of nine of these proteins with CRC *** validation,all but one showed a statistically significant high diagnostic ability to distinguish CRC patients and individuals with premalignant lesions from healthy individuals,either by luminescence Halotag-based beads,or by a multiplexed biosensing platform involving the use of magnetic microcarriers as solid support modified with covalently immobilized Halotag fusion proteins constructed for CRC *** together,our results highlight the usefulness of the approach defined here to identify the TAAs specific to chronic diseases;they also demonstrate that the measurement of autoantibody levels in plasma against the TAAs identified here

全球变暖潜能(GWP),是以二氧化碳排放为基准单位,某种气体的全球变暖潜能值是指排放这种气体的一个单位量导致的二氧化碳排放当量。比如,R134a制冷剂的全球变暖潜能为1410,这意味着释放1克R134a具有与释放1410克二氧化碳相同的全球变暖效应。近些年,新的制冷剂混合物R-515b(HFO-1234ze(E)与R-227ea的质量比例分别为91.1%和8.9%)替代HFC-134a,它的GWP的值为299,但是性能系数COP、加热能力与传统制冷剂相当。目前,这种混合制冷剂刚被研发不久,尚未全面评估、预测其在空气和水冷式冷却器、热泵、高温环境空调等应用中替代氢氟碳化合物的潜力。本文的研究目标是评估HFO-1234ze(E)和R-515b替代HFC-134a的可行性。

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.
