Background: Int.rleukin-1β(IL-1β) gene polymorphisms are relat.d t. hypochlorhydria and increase t.e risk of gast.ic cancer in t.e presence of Helicobact.r pylori infect.on. However, lit.le informat.on is available about.t.e genet.c risk fact.rs of reflux esophagit.s. In t.is st.dy we invest.gat.d it. associat.on wit. t.e IL-1β.polymorphisms. Met.ods: We examined 48 pat.ent. wit. reflux esophagit.s and 96 cont.ol subject., 89 wit. gast.ic cancer. IL-1β-511C/t.genot.ping was performed by t.e polymerase chain react.on-rest.ict.on fragment.lengt. polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) met.od. Result.: t.e frequency of IL-1β-51 1t.alleles was significant.y higher in reflux esophagit.s pat.ent. (57.3%) t.an in cont.ols (41.1%) (P = 0.0215, χ2 = 5.289). t.e frequency of IL-1β-511t.t.genot.pes was also significant.y higher in reflux esophagit.s pat.ent. (31.3%) t.an in cont.ols (15.6%). t.e odds rat.o and t.e 95%confidence int.rval were 4.000 and 1.393-11.486, respect.vely. t.e frequency of IL-1β-511t.t.genot.pes was significant.y higher in reflux esophagit.s pat.ent. (31.3%) t.an in gast.ic cancer pat.ent. (21.4%). t.e odds rat.o and t.e 95%confidence int.rval were 2.961 and 1.054-8.316, respect.vely. Conclusions: IL-1β-511t.was associat.d wit. reflux esophagit.s having hyperacidit.. Differences of genet.c background regarding gast.ic acid secret.on may exist.bet.een Japanese and Caucasians.

t.is st.dy invest.gat.d t.e vibrat.on frequency in micro-vibrat.on t.erapy (MVt. performed as a part.of nursing care in Japan. We surveyed 31 nurses (25 women and 6 men) who performed MVt.wit. acceleromet.rs at.ached t. t.e backs of t.eir hands, and t.e dat. obt.ined were analyzed. t.e mean vibrat.on frequency was 8.3 Hz (st.ndard deviat.on [SD]: 1.9 Hz) bilat.rally, wit. a left.right.difference of 0.8 Hz (SD: 1.1 Hz, right.> left.. Furt.ermore, vibrat.on frequency was correlat.d wit. durat.on of MVt.use (rs = 0.5, P t.e vibrat.on frequency was higher in men (9.2 Hz, SD: 2.4 Hz) t.an in women (8.1 Hz, SD: 1.8 Hz), but.t.is difference was not.significant.(P = 0.34). t.e vibrat.ons of MVt.are of a lower frequency t.an t.ose of ot.er vibrat.on t.erapies.

When plat. t.ct.nics began on t.e Eart. has been long debat.d and here we argue t.is t.pic based on t.e records of Eart.-Moon geology and ast.roid belt.t. conclude t.at.t.e onset.of plat. t.ct.nics was during t.e middle Hadean（4.37-4.20 Ga）. t.e t.igger of t.e init.at.on of plat. t.ct.nics is t.e ABEL Bombardment. which delivered oceanic and at.ospheric component. on a complet.ly dry reduct.ve Eart., originally comprised of enst.t.t. chondrit.-like mat.rials. t.rough t.e accret.on of volat.les, shock met.morphism processed wit. vaporizat.on of bot. CI chondrit. and supracrust.l rocks at.t.e bombarded locat.on, and significant.recryst.llizat.on went.t.rough under wet.condit.ons, caused considerable eclogit.zat.on in t.e primordial cont.nent. composed of felsic upper crust.of 21 km t.ick anort.osit., and 50 km or even t.icker KREEP lower crust. Eclogit.zat.on must.have yielded a powerful slab-pull force t. init.at. plat. t.ct.nics in t.e middle Hadean. Anot.er import.nt.fact.r is t.e size of t.e bombardment. By creat.ng Pacific Ocean class crat.r by 1000 km across impact.r, rigid plat. operat.ng st.gnant.lid t.ct.nics since t.e early Hadean was severely dest.oyed, and oceanic lit.osphere was generat.d t. have bi-modal lit.osphere on t.e Eart. t. enable t.e operat.on of plat. *** t.e import.nce of t.e ABEL Bombardment.event.which init.at.d plat. t.ct.nics including t.e appearance of ocean and at.osphere, we propose t.at.t.e Hadean Eon can be subdivided int. t.ree periods：（1） early Hadean（4.57-4.37 Ga）,（2） middle Hadean（4.37-4.20 Ga）, and（3） lat. Background: Our previous research concerned t.e relat.on bet.een Sense of Coherence, workplace st.ess, and burnout.for nurses in t.eir first.t.ree years of work. We found t.at.t.eir psychological st.t. in t.e first.t.ree mont.s on t.e job was part.cularly crit.cal t. t.eir success and ret.nt.on. As workplace st.ess increased over t.eir first.t.ree years, t.eir Sense of Coherence declined, and t.eir burnout.increased. Follow-up int.rviews aft.r five years revealed t.e import.nce of ident.fying role models early on and feeling t.eir own growt. in t.e responses of t.eir pat.ent.. Based on t.ese findings, in 2015 we inst.t.t.d a program t. improve new nurses’ Sense of Coherence. t.e present.research was t. evaluat. t.e effect.veness of t.is t.aining program. Purpose: t.e purpose of t.is st.dy was t. evaluat. t.e effect.veness of a t.aining program in raising Sense of Coherence. Met.od: From June of 2015 t. March of 2017, we surveyed Sense of Coherence of 137 new nurses who complet.d our t.aining program, comparing t.em t. a cohort.of 960 nurses whom we had st.died in 2010-11 wit.out.such a t.aining program. We analyzed t.eir responses using SPSS Version 24.0, t.king a probabilit. of less t.an 5% t. be significant. Result.: In t.rms of Sense of Coherence, t.e t.aining program improved new nurses’ “comprehensibilit.” and “manageabilit.” in t.e first.t.ree mont.s, but.bot. dropped t. levels comparable t. t.e unt.ained nurses aft.r six mont.s. t.ere was no significant.difference in “meaningfulness”, which dropped over t.e first.year in bot. groups. Cat.gorized int. t.ree groups according t. SOC score at.t.e t.me of employment.in t.e int.rvent.on group, 36 part.cipant. were classified int. t.e low score group, 41 part.cipant. were classified int. t.e medium score group, and 44 part.cipant. were classified int. t.e high score group. t.en changes in SOC in each group were t.en compared. In t.e LOW group, t.e scores for “comprehensibilit.”, “manageabilit.”, and “meaningfulness”
