Al_(0.2) CrFeNiCo and Al_(0.2) CrFeNiCu high entropy alloys were deposited with high velocity oxygen fuel(HVOF)on 316 L ***,a laser re-melting(LR)process was applied to enhancing the coating *** process effects on dry sliding wear and oxidation behaviors were *** mixture of powders with free elements led to the formation of inner oxides in HVOF *** oxide and porosity were eliminated using *** LR,FCC was the dominant phase in both alloys,while BCC,sigma and Cr2 O3 phases were observed in Al_(0.2) CrFeNiCo *** hardnesses of the Al_(0.2) CrFeNiCo and Al_(0.2) CrFeNiCu coatings after HVOF were HV 591 and HV 361,*** LR,the hardnesses decreased to HV 259 and HV 270,*** HVOF coatings were most affected by increased load,they showed the highest wear resistance compared to other *** lowest wear resistance could be seen in the *** the oxidation tests,HVOF coating layer was completely oxidized and also,the coating layer was delaminated from the substrate after 50 h oxidation due to its porous *** coatings exhibited better oxidation ***_(0.2) CrFeNiCo was dominantly composed of Cr2 O3,exhibiting a slower-growing tendency at the end of the oxidation tests,while Al_(0.2) CrFeNiCu was composed of spinel phases.

Feature selection(FS)plays a crucial role in pre-processing machine learning datasets,as it eliminates redundant features to improve classification accuracy and reduce computational *** paper presents an enhanced approach to FS for software fault prediction,specifically by enhancing the binary dwarf mongoose optimization(BDMO)algorithm with a crossover mechanism and a modified positioning updating *** proposed approach,termed iBDMOcr,aims to fortify exploration capability,promote population diversity,and lastly improve the wrapper-based FS process for software fault prediction *** gained superb performance compared to other well-esteemed optimization methods across 17 benchmark *** ranked first in 11 out of 17 datasets in terms of average classification ***,iBDMOcr outperformed other methods in terms of average fitness values and number of selected features across all *** findings demonstrate the effectiveness of iBDMOcr in addressing FS problems in software fault prediction,leading to more accurate and efficient models.

[Objectives]This study was conducted to purify mutton samples by gel permeation chromatography(GPC).[Methods]Fourteen organophosphorus pesticide residues in samples were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)in selective ion scanning mode(SIM).[Results]The organophosphorus pesticide standard solutions showed good linearity in the mass concentration range of 0.1-10.0μg/ml with correlation coefficients(r)not lower than 0.999,and the detection limits(S=3 N)ranged from 0.01 to 0.05 mg/*** average recovery values were in the range of 80.2%-99.7%,with relative standard deviations(RSDs,n=3)in the range of 1.8%-6.3%,at the addition levels of 0.5,1.0 and 2.0 mg/kg.[Conclusions]The method is simple,sensitive and accurate,and can be used for the determination of organophosphorus pesticide residues in mutton.

Interference signals due to scattering from surface and reflecting from bottom is one of the most important problems of reliable communications in shallow water channels. To solve this problem, one of the best suggested ways is to use adaptive equalizers. Convergence rate and misadjustment error in adaptive algorithms play important roles in adaptive equalizer performance. In this paper, affine projection algorithm （APA）, selective regressor APA（SR-APA）, family of selective partial update （SPU） algorithms, family of set-membership （SM） algorithms and selective partial update selective regressor APA （SPU-SR-APA） are compared with conventional algorithms such as the least mean square （LMS） in underwater acoustic communications. We apply experimental data from the Strait of Hormuz for demonstrating the efficiency of the proposed methods over shallow water channel. We observe that the values of the steady-state mean square error （MSE） of SR-APA, SPU-APA0 SPU-normalized least mean square （SPU-NLMS）, SPU-SR-APA0 SM-APA and SM-NLMS algorithms decrease in comparison with the LMS algorithm. Also these algorithms have better convergence rates than LMS type algorithm.

This letter presents two preprocessing techniques for narrow-band interference （NBI） rejection in Time- Division-Duplex （TDD） CDMA systems. In the proposed methods, at the transmitter, by using Karhaunen-Loeve Transform and Discrete Fourier Transform, the transmitted power is set to zero in the directions of the eigenvectors that will be severely contaminated by NBI; and therefore less part of the transmitted energy will be polluted by NBI in channel. The processing is transferred from receiver to transmitter, and thus the complexity of the receiver is significantly reduced. It is assumed that channel state information can be estimated at the transmitter because in symmetric TDD systems each receiver in turn also acts as a transmitter.

This paper introduces an algorithm for beamforming systems by the aid of multidimensional harmonic retrieval(MHR).This algorithm resolves problems,removes limitations of sampling and provides a more robust beamformer.A new sample space is created that can be used for estimating weights of a new beamforming called spatial-harmonics retrieval beamformer(SHRB).Simulation results show that SHRB has a better performance,accuracy,and applicability and more powerful eigenvalues than conventional beamformers.A simple mathematical proof is *** changing the number of harmonics,as a degree of freedom that is missing in conventional beamformers,SHRB can achieve more optimal outputs without increasing the number of spatial or temporal *** will demonstrate that SHRB offers an improvement of 4 dB in signal to noise ratio(SNR) in bit error rate(BER) of 10~(-4) over conventional *** the case of direction of arrival(DOA) estimation,SHRB can estimate the DOA of the desired signal with an SNR of-25 dB,when conventional methods cannot have acceptable response.

An automatic method for classifying frequency shift keying(FSK),minimum shift keying(MSK),phase shift keying(PSK),quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM),and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)is proposed by simultaneously using normality test,spectral analysis,and geometrical characteristics of in-phase-quadrature(I-Q)constellation *** the extracted features are unique for each modulation,they can be considered as a fingerprint of each *** show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the previously published methods in terms of signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and success *** example,the success rate of the proposed method for 64-QAM modulation at SNR=11 dB is 99%.Another advantage of the proposed method is its wide SNR range;such that the probability of classification for 16-QAM at SNR=3 dB is almost *** proposed method also provides a database for geometrical features of I-Q constellation *** comparing and correlating the data of the provided database with the estimated I-Q diagram of the received signal,the processing gain of 4 dB is *** can be mentioned about the preference of the proposed algorithm are low complexity,low SNR,wide range of modulation set,and enhanced recognition at higher-order modulations.

The application of swirl tube cyclone for gas-liquid separation is attractive due to its small size and weight. However, very scarce information on the performance of the swirl tube cyclone especially at high operating pressure emulating actual field condition was published in journals. Performance assessment was usually done at a low operating pressure using either air-water, air-fine particle mixtures or dense gas such as SF6 . This paper fills the existing gaps and reports the initial findings on the performance assessment of a horizontal swirl tube cyclone for gas-liquid separation operating at a flow rate of 5 MMSCFD at 40-60 bar operating pressure.
