Assessment of the Diagnostic Value of Plasma Level of Von Willebrand Factor and ADAMTS13 in Patients with Cerebral Infarction

Background: Von Willebrand Factor (VWF) is a large multimeric plasma gly-coprotein that plays an important role in primary haemostasis. VWF together with ADAMTS13 plays a key role in arterial thrombosis. VWF is integral for platelet adhesion to collagen fibres and atherosclerotic plaues and platelets aggregation under high shear conditions. Upon vascular wall damage, plasma VWF binds to collagen in the exposed endothelial matrix and platelet glycoprotein triggers platelet aggregation and thrombous formation. In the early stages of acute ischaemic stroke, VWF increased significantly and the ADAMTS13 level decreased. The increase of plasma VWF and FVIII in a patient with ischaemic stroke indicated an increased risk of complications and severe neurological deficit. Objective: to evaluate the validity of VWF and ADFAMTS13 as diagnostic markers of cerebral infarction by comparing the two markers’ validity in diagnosis. Methods: this case control study enrolled 38 cerebral infarction patients 20 acute infarction and 18 recurrent infarction. Patients were compared with 65 age and sex with control patients. We performed the VWF assay using the minividas immunofluorescence technique and the ADAMTS13 assay using the ELISA technique. Results: VWF level of acute infarction patients (280.97 ± 109.83 IU/dl) while its level in recurrent infarction (264.93 ± 172.8 IU/dl) were highly significantly increased compared to control (75.8 ± 16.24 IU/dl). ADAMTS13 level of acute infarction patients was (506.11 ± 225.24 ng/dl) and (1386.03 ± 667.64 ng/dl) in recurrent infarction patients with highly significant differences between the acute and control group and non-significant different between recurrent and control. ADAMTS13 is an excellent diagnostic test in acute cerebral infarction but a weak diagnostic test in recurrent cerebral infarction but it is a good diagnostic test in differentiation between acute and recurrent cerebral infarction patients. Nanosecond pulse and dual-wavelength Q-switched 1.5 μm fiber laser using MAX phase Cr2TiAlC2 saturable absorber

We demonstrated a new type of MAX phase material, chromium titanium aluminum carbide（Cr2TiAlC2） polymer film, to generate a passively Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser（EDFL）. The film thickness was measured to be around 45 μm, which was fabricated using the embedding method with polyvinyl alcohol（PVA） polymer as hoster. The saturable absorber（SA） film demonstrates a dual-wavelength passively Q-switched EDFL which operates at 1 531 nm and 1 560.19 nm, respectively. The Q-switching pulse duration could be varied from 2.46 μs to 770 ns, while the repetition rate varied from 92.76 kHz to 106.6 kHz with an increasing input pumping range from 154 mW to 300 mW. The maximum output power and pulse energy of 15.05 mW and 141.18 nJ were obtained at the maximum input power of 300 mW, respectively.

The growing need for sustainable energy solutions,driven by rising energy shortages,environmental concerns,and the depletion of conventional energy sources,has led to a significant focus on renewable *** energy,among the various renewable sources,is particularly appealing due to its abundant ***,the efficiency of commercial solar photovoltaic(PV)modules is hindered by several factors,notably their conversion efficiency,which averages around 19%.This efficiency can further decline to 10%–16%due to temperature increases during peak sunlight *** study investigates the cooling of PV modules by applying water to their front surface through Computational fluid dynamics(CFD).The study aimed to determine the optimal conditions for cooling the PV module by analyzing the interplay between water film thickness,Reynolds number,and their effects on temperature reduction and heat *** CFD analysis revealed that the most effective cooling condition occurred with a 5 mm thick water film and a Reynolds number of *** specific parameters were found to maximize the heat transfer and temperature reduction *** finding is crucial for the development of practical and efficient cooling systems for PV modules,potentially leading to improved performance and longevity of solar *** cooling fluids or advanced cooling techniques that might offer even better efficiency or practical benefits.

A clean environment with low carbon emissions is the goal of research on the development of green and sustainable buildings that use bio-sourced materials in conjunction with solar energy to create more sustainable *** is particularly true in Africa,where there aren’t many studies on the *** current study suggests a 90 m^(2) model of a sustainable building in a dry climate that is movable to address the issue of housing in remote areas,ensures comfort in harsh weather conditions,uses solar renewable resources—which are plentiful in Africa—uses biosourced materials,and examines how these materials relate to temperature and humidity control while emitting minimal carbon *** order to solve the topic under consideration,the work is split into two sections:numerical and experimental *** TRNSYS and Revit,the suggested prototype building is examined numerically to examine the impact of orientation,envelope composition made of bio-sourced materials,and carbon *** a hygrothermal investigation,experiments are conducted to evaluate this prototype’s ***,an examination of the photovoltaic system’s production,consumption,and several scenarios used tomaximize battery life is included in the *** the biosourcedmaterial achieves a thermal transmittance of 0.15(W.m^(-2).K^(-1)),the results demonstrate an intriguing finding in terms of *** value satisfies the requirements of passive building,energy autonomy of the dwelling,and injection in-network with an annual value of 15,757 ***,compared to the literature,the heating needs ratio is 6.38(kWh/m^(2).an)and the cooling needs ratio is 49(kWh/m^(2).an),both of which are good *** to international norms,the inside temperature doesn’t go above 26℃,and the humidity level is within a comfortable range.

The oil industries are an important part of a country’s *** crude oil’s price is influenced by a wide range of ***,how accurately can countries predict its behavior and what predictors to employ are two main *** this view,we propose utilizing deep learning and ensemble learning techniques to boost crude oil’s price forecasting *** suggested method is based on a deep learning snapshot ensemble method of the Transformer *** examine the superiority of the proposed model,this paper compares the proposed deep learning ensemble model against different machine learning and statistical models for daily Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries(OPEC)oil price *** results demonstrated the outperformance of the proposed method over statistical and machine learning *** precisely,the proposed snapshot ensemble of Transformer method achieved relative improvement in the forecasting performance compared to autoregressive integrated moving average ARIMA(1,1,1),ARIMA(0,1,1),autoregressive moving average(ARMA)(0,1),vector autoregression(VAR),random walk(RW),support vector machine(SVM),and random forests(RF)models by 99.94%,99.62%,99.87%,99.65%,7.55%,98.38%,and 99.35%,respectively,according to mean square error metric.

Several pests feed on leaves,stems,bases,and the entire plant,causing plant *** a result,it is vital to identify and eliminate the disease before causing any damage to *** detecting plant disease and treating it is pretty challenging in this *** processing is employed to detect plant disease since it requires much effort and an extended processing *** main goal of this study is to discover the disease that affects the plants by creating an image processing system that can recognize and classify four different forms of plant diseases,including Phytophthora infestans,Fusarium graminearum,Puccinia graminis,tomato yellow leaf ***,this work uses the Support vector machine(SVM)classifier to detect and classify the plant disease using various steps like image acquisition,Pre-processing,Segmentation,feature extraction,and *** gray level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM)and the local binary pattern features(LBP)are used to identify the disease-affected portion of the plant *** to experimental data,the proposed technology can correctly detect and diagnose plant sickness with a 97.2 percent accuracy.
