The Monte Desert is characterized by a great diversity of landforms created with fluvial， alluvial which the vegetation patterns are related to. The present work has the following objectives: 1: determine whether topographical attributes， surface characteristics， soil properties and vegetation patterns vary between alluvial landforms， and 2: define whether morphometric， soil and surface properties influence vegetation patterns along alluvial landscape. Morphometric data were obtained by processing a 5 m digital elevation model. The coverage of rock fragments， fine sediments and mulch was quantified. Observations and descriptions of the soil profiles were restricted to the uppermost 50 cm. vegetation properties were calculated using a Point Quadrat Method. The relationship between variables was evaluated through multivariate statistical analysis. The main results show the presence of 45 plant species distributed in 19 families， where shrubs are dominant. The wind effect， topographic wetness and dissection of the landscape are limiting factors of diversity. The coverage of superficial rock fragments influence vegetation coverage through the distribution and availability of rainwater. Furthermore， the different soil textures reveal that the silt content favors an increase in vegetation coverage. The presence of v horizon could condition the installation and development of vegetation in the early stages of growth.

The atomic-to-molecular gas conversion is a critical step in the baryon cycle of galaxies,which sets the initial conditions for subsequent star formation and influences the multi-phase interstellar *** compiled a sample of 94 nearby galaxies with observations of multi-phase gas contents by utilizing public H_(Ⅰ),CO,and optical IFU data from the Ma NGA survey together with new FAsT H_(Ⅰ)*** agreement with previous results,our sample shows that the global molecular-to-atomic gas ratio(R_(mol)≡log M_(H2)/M_(H_(Ⅰ)))is correlated with the global stellar mass surface densityμ_*with a Kendall'sτcoefficient of 0.25 and pless tightly but still correlated with stellar mass and NUv-r color,and not related to the specific star formation rate(ssFR).The cold gas distribution and kinematics inferred from the H_(Ⅰ)and CO global profile asymmetry and shape do not significantly rely on R_(mol).Thanks to the availability of kpc-scale observations of MaNGA,we decompose galaxies into H_(Ⅱ),composite,and AGN-dominated regions by using the BPT *** increasing R_(mol),the fraction of H_(Ⅱ)regions within 1.5 effective radius decreases slightly;the density distribution in the spatially resolved BPT diagram also changes significantly,suggesting changes in metallicity and ionization *** with high R_(mol)tend to have high oxygen abundance,both at one effective radius with a Kendall'sτcoefficient of 0.37(pl *** all parameters investigated here,the oxygen abundance at one effective radius has the strongest relation with global R_(mol).The dependence of gas conversion on gas distribution and galaxy ionization states is *** contrast,the observed positive relation between oxygen abundance(μ_(*))and R_(mol)indicates that the gas conversion is efficient in regions of high metallicity(density).

We have recently proposed a new technique of plasma tailoring by laser-driven hydrodynamic shockwaves generated on both sides of a gas jet[Marquès et al.,*** 28,023103(2021)].In a continuation of this numerical work,we study experimentally the influence of the tailoring on proton acceleration driven by a high-intensity picosecond laser in three cases:without tailoring,by tailoring only the entrance side of the picosecond laser,and by tailoring both sides of the gas *** tailoring,the acceleration is transverse to the laser axis,with a low-energy exponential spectrum,produced by Coulomb *** the front side of the gas jet is tailored,a forward acceleration appears,which is significantly enhanced when both the front and back sides of the plasma are *** forward acceleration produces higher-energy protons,with a peaked spectrum,and is in good agreement with the mechanism of collisionless shock acceleration(CsA).The spatiotemporal evolution of the plasma profile is characterized by optical shadowgraphy of a probe *** refraction and absorption of this beam are simulated by post-processing 3D hydrodynamic simulations of the plasma *** with the experimental results allows estimation of the thickness and near-critical density of the plasma slab produced by tailoring both sides of the gas *** parameters are in good agreement with those required for CsA.

Dear Editor,Around a billion individuals worldwide have *** these,95%have essential hypertension,a type of undiagnosed hypertension.1 The regulation of blood pressure(BP)involves numerous signaling *** them,the Renin Angiotensin system is well *** these pathways are regulated by modulation of renal salt handling and tone of vascular smooth muscle(vsM)*** of these mechanisms can become faulty and alter the resistance arteries’vsM tone,which can elevate ***,since the exact origin of PH and its pathophysiology are unknown,less effective,and generic treatments are used.2 The fact that more than 50%of hypertension patients in the UsA do not have their BP under good control serves as an illustration of *** treatment resistance affects an additional 5 million people and is defined as the inability to regulate BP despite the use of at least three antihypertensive drugs in combination.

We have studied the dynamic and static processes occurring in disordered multiparticle colloidal Ag aggregates with natural structure and affecting their plasmonic absorption spectra under pico-and nanosecond pulsed laser radiations, as well as the physical origin responsible for these processes. We have shown that depending on the duration of the laser pulse,the mechanisms of laser modification of such aggregates can be associated both with changes in the resonant properties of the particles due to their heating and melting(picosecond irradiation mode) and with the particle shifts in the resonant domains of the aggregates(nanosecond pulses) which depend on the wavelength, intensity, and polarization of the *** mechanisms result in formation of a narrow dip in the plasmonic absorption spectrum of the aggregates near the laser radiation wavelength and affect the shape and position of the dip. The effect of polydispersity of nanoparticle aggregates on laser photochromic reaction has been studied.

In this study, the biocompatible protective coating was formed using plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO) on bioresorbable Mg-0.8Ca alloy. The composition of the formed coating was studied using XRD, sEM-EDX analysis, and micro-Raman spectroscopy. The uniform distribution of hydroxyapatite over the thickness of protective PEO-layer was established. Using traditional(EIs, PDP, OCP) and local scanning electrochemical methods(svET, sIET with H^(+)-selective microelectrode), the level of protective properties of PEO-layer in a biological environment(mammalian cell culture medium, MEM) was determined. It was established that modification of Mg-0.8Ca alloy surface by PEO contributes to a significant increase in the corrosion resistance of the surface layer, making it possible to control the process of material‘s biodegradation. The maximum local electrochemical activity was recorded after 72 h of testing, while for the uncoated sample,intense corrosion degradation was recorded in the first 12 min of exposure to the cell culture medium. Formation of the PEO-coating results in a twofold decrease in the corrosion current density(2.8·10^(-6)A cm^(-2)) and an increase in the impedance modulus measured at a low frequency(1.7·10^(4)Ω cm^(2)) in comparison with the uncoated material(9.5·10^(-6)A cm^(-2);8.1·10^(3)Ω cm^(2)). The mechanism of material bioresorption was established and a model for biodegradation process of Mg-0.8Ca alloy with hydroxyapatite-containing PEO-coating in MEM was proposed. Analysis of these results and comparing with others obtained by various scientific groups indicate the prospects for application of biocompatible PEO-coating on Mg-Ca alloy in implant surgery.
