Novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV),also known as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),is a pathogen that has caused a rapidly spreading pandemic all over the *** primary mean of transmission is inhalation with a predilection for respiratory system involvement,especially in the distal *** disease that arises from this novel coronavirus is named coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).COVID-19 may have a rapid and devastating course in some cases leading to severe complications and *** imaging methods have an invaluable role in diagnosis,follow-up,and *** this review,radiological imaging findings of COVID-19 have been systematically reviewed based on the published literature so *** reporting templates are also emphasized from a different point of view,considering specific distinctive patterns of involvement.

To The Editor,I want to congratulate Jin and colleagues for their article entitled “ABO blood group is a predictor of survival in patients with laryngeal cancer” recently reported in Chinese Journal of Cancer, in which they assessed whether the ABO blood group was associated with prognosis in patients with laryngeal cancer [1]. They reported that compared with the patients with blood group non-O,patients with blood group O had significantly shorter ***, there is no satisfactory explanation why laryngeal cancer patients with blood group O had shorter *** group antigens are expressed on the surface of red blood cells and numerous other tissues throughout the body, including different types of cancer cells as well [2].These A or B antigens located on laryngeal cancer cell surface may be recognized from the immune system as antigenic foci. Hence, laryngeal cancer cells carrying A or B or both antigens could be destroyed by the immune system. On the other hand, laryngeal cancer cells harboring neither A nor B antigens, so-called type O cancer cells may not be recognized by immune cells and therefore may escape from immune destruction.

Hormone receptor status of primary tumor as a prognostic factor in patients with liver metastases from breast cancer treated with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization

We read with great interest the article by XP et al. They reported the results of their experience with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization （TACE） and systemic chemotherapy for forty-five patients with liver metastases from breast cancer and evaluate the prognostic factors. In their study, the response and survival rates were significantly better in TACE group than in chemotherapy group. The lymph node status of the primary cancer, the clinical stage of liver metastases, the Child-Pugh grade, loss of weight were found to be significantly associated with survival in both univariate and multivariate and analyses. However, they did not mention hormone receptor status of the patients that might have an effect on the survival rate. Elias et al. in their study evaluated 54 breast cancer patients with liver metastases as the sole site of metastatic disease （except for bone metastases in 3 patients） that underwent hepatectomy. They showed that the only factor influencing survival in both the univariate and multivariate analyses was the hormone receptor status （P = 0.03）, and the relative risk of death increased by 3.5-fold when hormone receptor was negative. Moreover, Mack et al reported excellent local tumor control and survival rates achieved by laser induced interstitial thermotherapy （LITT） in breast cancer patients with liver metastases. Regarding the prognostic and predictive factors related to primary tumor, they found no statistically significant difference in terms of mean survival between the patients with N0-N1 lymph nodes and N2-N3 lymph nodes. However, they found that the hormone receptor status is a significant （P〈0.05） prognostic factor on both mean and median survival.
