Large-scale accoun.in. scan.als which were reflected to the world public opin.on.particularly in.the 2000s （such as En.on. Lucen., Xerox, an. Parmalat Ban. for Recon.truction. carried the matter of fraudulen. fin.n.ial reportin. which was made to deceive the fin.n.ial statemen. users （Fraudulen. Fin.n.ial Report （FFR）） to the forefron. in.the agen.a of the academician., operators, an. regulatory authorities. As in.every crime action. the most effective measure to be taken.in.preven.in. FFR even.s is to try to preven. the FFR before arisin.. In.order to achieve this, in.the most effective man.er, FFR even.s should be determin.d in.the formation.process. In.this study, fraudulen. fin.n.ial statemen.s are tried to be determin.d by usin. fin.n.ial ratios. For this, fin.n.ial statemen.s of 22 compan.es which tran.act in.the textile in.ustry in.Istan.ul Stock Exchan.e （ISE） were examin.d. Twen.y-three fin.n.ial ratios were selected for the purpose of determin.n. the risk of fraudulen.e in.the fin.n.ial statemen.s of the selected compan.es. These ratios in.reased in.value by multiple regression.an.lysis. The fin.in.s which were obtain.d in.the study in.icated that some fin.n.ial statemen.s had the risk of fraudulen.e. It was con.luded that the ratios of in.en.ory/curren. asset, total debt ratio, an. equity turn.ver rate were a good in.icator in.the determin.tion.of fraudulen. fin.n.ial statemen.s.
