Efficient and optimized approximate GDI full adders based on dynamic threshold CNTFETs for specific least significant bits

Carbon nanotube field-effect transistors(CNTFETs) are reliable alternatives for conventional transistors, especially for use in approximate computing(AC) based error-resilient digital circuits. In this paper, CNTFET technology and the gate diffusion input(GDI) technique are merged, and three new AC-based full adders(FAs) are presented with 6, 6, and 8 transistors, separately. The nondominated sorting based genetic algorithm II(NSGA-II) is used to attain the optimal performance of the proposed cells by considering the number of tubes and chirality vectors as its variables. The results confirm the circuits' improvement by about 50% in terms of power-delay-product(PDP) at the cost of area occupation. The Monte Carlo method(MCM) and 32-nm CNTFET technology are used to evaluate the lithographic variations and the stability of the proposed circuits during the fabrication process, in which the higher stability of the proposed circuits compared to those in the literature is observed. The dynamic threshold(DT) technique in the transistors of the proposed circuits amends the possible voltage drop at the outputs. Circuitry performance and error metrics of the proposed circuits nominate them for the least significant bit(LSB) parts of more complex arithmetic circuits such as multipliers.

We present a new counter-based Wallace-tree(CBW)8×8 *** multiplier’s counters are implemented with a new hybrid full adder(FA)cell,which is based on the transmission gate(TG)*** proposed FA,TG-based AND gate,and hybrid half adder(HA)generate M:3(4≤M≤7)digital counters with the ability to save at least 50%area *** by 90 nm technology prove the superiority of the proposed FA and digital counters under different conditions over the state-of-the-art *** using the proposed cells,the CBW multiplier exhibits high driving capability,low power consumption,and high *** CBW multiplier has a 0.0147 mm^(2)die area in a *** post-layout extraction proves the accuracy of experimental *** image blending mechanism is proposed,in which a direct interface between MATLAB and HSPICE is used to evaluate the presented CBW multiplier in image processing *** peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)and structural similarity index metric(SSIM)are calculated as image quality parameters,and the results confirm that the presented CBW multiplier can be used as an alternative to designs in the literature.

Comparative study of honeycomb optimization using Kriging and radial basis function

Structural optimization for crashworthiness criteria is of particular significance especially at early stage of design. The comparative study of Kriging and radial basis function network （RBFN） was performed in order to improve the crashworthiness effects of honeycomb. Improving the crashworthiness characteristic of honeycomb was achieved using LS-OPT~ and domain reduction strategy. This optimization is performed on the basis of validated numerical simulation to establish the approximated model to illustrate the relationship between the responses and design variables. The results showed that Kriging meta-model is excelled in accuracy, robustness and efficiency compared to radial basis function （RBF） and crashworthiness characteristic of honeycomb is improved by 4%.

S-Factor of the ^(3)H(α,γ)^(7)Li Reaction at Astrophysical Energies

The astrophysical S-factor forα-^(3)H radiative capture is calculated at astrophysical *** construct conserved two-and three-body electromagnetic currents,using minimal substitution in the explicit momentum dependence of the two-and three-nucleon *** realistic Argonne v_(18) two-nucleon and Urbana IX or Tucson–Melbourne three-nucleon interactions are considered for *** extrapolation of results for the astrophysical S-factor at zero energy,the energy in the order of 1 keV and less is found to be S(0)=0.107(0.112)keV·b,with(without)three-body interactions in satisfactory agreement with other theoretical results and experimental data.

Photon Linear Polarization Coefficient of the Radiative Capture Process ^(2)H(p,γ)^(3)He at Thermal Energies

The photon polarization parameter of the proton-deuteron radiative capture process at thermal proton energies is calculated up to leading order(LO),using pionless effective field theory(EFT).In order to make a comparative study of this model,we compare our results for the photon polarization parameter with the realistic Argonne(AV14)and Argonne v18(AV18)modern nucleon-nucleon potentials and Urbana IX or Tucson-Melbourne three-nucleon *** theoretical description of the ^(2)H(p,γ)^(3)He reaction at thermal energies is complicated by the presence of the Coulomb *** the s-wave capture contribution to the thermal energy of this reaction is ***-body currents give small but significant contributions to some of the observables in the proton-deuteron radiative capture cross section at thermal neutron *** result is in good agreement with the available experimental data and potential models'calculation at this order.

Predictive-reactive Strategy for Flowshop Rescheduling Problem:Minimizing the Total Weighted Waiting Times and Instability

Due to the fourth revolution experiencing,referred to as Industry 4.0,many production firms are devoted to integrating new technological tools to their manufacturing *** of them,is rescheduling the tasks on the machines responding to ***,for static scheduling,the efficiency criteria measure the performance of scheduling systems,in dynamic environments,the stability criteria are also used to assess the impact of jobs *** this paper,a new performance measure is investigated for a flowshop rescheduling *** one considers simultaneously the total weighted waiting time as the efficiency criterion,and the total weighted completion time deviation as the stability *** fusion could be a very helpful and significant measure for real life industrial *** disruption types are considered:jobs arrival and jobs ***,a Mixed Integer Linear Programming(MILP)model is developed,as well as an iterative predictive-reactive strategy for dealing with the online *** last,two heuristic methods are proposed and discussed,in terms of solution quality and computing time.

On Generalized Douglas–Weyl(α, β)-Metrics

In this paper, we study generalized Douglas-Weyl （α,β）-metrics. Suppose that a regular （α,β）-metric F is not of Randers type. We prove that F is a generalized Douglas-Weyl metric with vanishing S-curvature if and only if it is a Berwald metric. Moreover, by ignoring the regularity, if F is not a Berwald metric, then we find a family of almost regular Finsler metrics which is not Douglas nor Weyl. As its application, we show that generalized Douglas-Weyl square metric or Matsumoto metric with isotropic mean Berwald curvature are Berwald metrics.

Nuclear data for the cyclotron production of ^(117)Sb and ^(90)Nb

This presented study is to make comparison of cross sections to produce 117Sb and 90Nb via different reactions with particle incident energy up to 70 MeV as a part of systematic studies on particle-induced activations on enriched Sn, Y2O3 and ZrO2 targets, theoretical calculation of production yield, calculation of required thickness of target and suggestion of optimum reaction to produce Antimony-117 and Niobium-90.

Reduced transition probabilities for 4He radiative capturereactions at astrophysical energies

The reduced transition probabilities from an electric quadrupole B（E2） andreduced transition probabilities from a magnetic dipole B（M1） between the groundstate and the first excited state have been calculated for the 3He（α,γ）7Be, 8Be（α,γ）12cand 12C（α,γ）160 radiative capture reactions with the M3Y potential. These reactionsare important in stellar evolution. The calculated B（M1） and B（E2） for 7Be nuclei arefound to be 1.082 x 10-3 e2 fm2 and 1.921 e2 fma from transitions 3/2- to 1/2-, re-spectively. The obtained values for reduced transition probabilities B（E2） for the 12Cand 160 nuclei from transitions 0＋ to 2＋ are 12.54 e2 fm4 and 14.18 e2 fm4, respec-tively. The results are in satisfactory agreement with available experimental data.

A Novel Method of Deinterleaving Radar Pulse Sequences Based on a Modified DBSCAN Algorithm

A modified DBSCAN algorithm is presented for deinterleaving of radar pulses in modern EW environments.A main characteristic of the proposed method is that using only time of arrival of pulses,the method can sort the pulses *** PDW information such as rise time,carrier frequency,pulse width,modulation on pulse,fall time and direction of arrival are not *** identify the valid PRIs in a set of interleaved pulses,an innovative modification of the DBSCAN algorithm is introduced which is accurate and easy to *** proposed method determines valid PRIs more accurately and neglects the spurious ones more efficiently as compared to the classical histogram based algorithms such as ***,without specifying any input parameter,the proposed method can deinterleave radar pulses while up to 30%jitter is present in the associated *** accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method are verified by computer simulations and real data *** simulations are based on different real and operational scenarios where the presence of missing and spurious pulses are also ***,the simulation results can be of practical significance.
