Existing telerehabilitation systems require highly experienced personnel to interpret a patient’s muscle activity in a specialized lab,limiting the biofeedback available at the patient’s *** addition,there is no contact between physiotherapists and patients *** study designed and implemented an interactive teleelectromyography(EmG)biofeedback device for facilitating patients’rehabilitation and giving the physiotherapist the ability to develop and monitor personalized treatment for each patient precisely and *** device comprised a device that acquires EmG signals during muscular activity and two cell phone applications,one for the patient and the other for the physiotherapist;traced muscle activity;and enabled the physiotherapist to monitor and control the patients’sessions through a Google Firebase *** signals were acquired from five subjects,and results were compared to a certified *** evaluation process involved two metrics,correlation coefficient and root mean square value(RmSV).The proposed EmG biofeedback device is an integrated solution with numerous features,such as low cost,handheld size,patient-friendly interface,contributions to rapid healing,and secure *** addition,it provides raw EmG signals for applied research applications.

In the light of great importance of curves and their frames in many differentbranches of science, especially differential geometry as well as geometric properties andthe uses in various fields, we are interested here to study a special kind of curves calledSmarandache curves in Lorentz 3-space. Then, we present some characterizations for thesecurves and calculate their Darboux invariants. moreover, we classify TP, TU, PU andTPU-Smarandache curves of a spacelike curve according to the causal character of thevector, curve and surface used in the study. Besides, we give some of differential geometricproperties and important relations between that curves. Finally, to demonstrate ourtheoretical results a computational example is given with graph.

The study on trematode larvae found in Egyptian molluscs was initiated by the pioneering work of Sonsino in 1892 and Looss in 1896. Since then tens of cercariae and some digenean life cycles have been reported in the country. Unfortunately, only fragmentary publications are available for identification of cercariae present in the country. In addition, some of such publications may not be accessible to some researchers, as they are either theses or published in old volumes of non-international journals. The present work was carried out with the aim of preserving our heritage through reviewing the different types of cercariae known from the Egyptian inland water snails. We provide a survey based on literature. major types of cercariae known to exist in the country are covered. They are presented as regards description, development, taxa, importance and snail hosts. This review can be used as a field guide for identification of cercariae colonising the Egyptian inland water snails.

This study examined if the anti-tumorigenesis effect of Exendin-4 in HT29 and HCT116 colorectal cancer(CRC)involves modulation of SIRT1 and Akt/GSR3K/β-catenin/NF-κB ***29 and HCT116 cells were treated either with increasing levels of Exendin-4(0.0-200μm)or with Exendin-4(at its IC50)in the presence or absence of EX-527(10μm/a selective SIRT1 inhibitor)or Exendin-4(9-39)amide(E(9-39)A)(1μm/an Exendin-4 antagonist).In a dose-dependent manner,Exendin-4 inhibited cell survival,but enhanced levels of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and single-stranded DNA(ssDNA)in both HT29 and *** both cell lines and at it has an IC50(45μm for HT29 and 35μm for HCT1165),Exendin-4 also significantly reduced cell survival,migration,and invasion of both cell types,with no effect on the expression GLP-1 receptors(GLPRs)nor of the activity of *** these doses,Exendin-4 also increased the expression of SIRT1 but reduced the acetylation of NF-κB and the expression of Bax and cleaved caspase-3 and in both cell ***,protein levels of p-GS3Kβ(Ser9),total and acetylatedβ-catenin,and Anix2 were significantly decreased,but levels of p-GS3Kβ(Ser9)and p-β-catenin(Ser33/37/Thr41)were significantly increased in both HT29 and HCT116-exendin-4 treated *** the effects exerted by Exendin-4 were completely prevented by Ex527 or E(9-39)*** conclusion,Exendin-4 suppresses the tumorigenesis of HT29 and HCT116 CRC cell activation of GS3Kβ-induced inhibition ofβ-catenin and NF-κβin a SIRT1-dependent mechanism.

metavolcanic rocks hosting base metal sulphide mineralization, and belonging to the Kid metamorphic Complex, are exposed in the Samra-Tarr area, Southern Sinai. The rocks consist of slightly metamorphosed varicolored porphyritic lavas of rhyolite-to-andesite composition, and their equivalent pyroclastics. Geochemically, these metavolcanics are classified as high-K calc-alkaline, metaluminous andesites, trachyandesites, dacites, and rhyolites. The geochemical characteristics of these metavolcanics strongly point to their derivation from continental crust in an active continental margin. The sulphide mineralization in these metavolcanics occurs in two major ore zones, and is represented by four distinct styles of mineralization. The mineralization occurs either as low-grade disseminations or as small massive pockets. The associated hydrothermal alterations include carbonatization, silicification, sericitization and argillic alterations. The base metal sulphide mineralization is epigenetic and was formed by hvdrothermal solutions associated with subduction-related volcanic activity.

Performance Analysis of a Rooftop Hybrid Connected Solar PV System

In the present work,a 5-kW hybrid PV solar system was installed on the roof of a house in Diyala,Iraq(33.77°N,45.14°E elevation 44 m).The system consists of two strings,where each string consists of nine polycrystalline PV modules with 355 Wp in series,and the two strings are in *** energy storage system(ESS)consists of two parallel strings,each with four 12 V and 150 Ah tubular deep cycle batteries in series.A hybrid inverter of 5 kW rated power was operated in different *** results showed that may’s monthly energy consumption was about 822.9 and 1085 kWh,*** percentage distribution of the DC energy produced was about 1%system energy losses,27.9%was used to charge the ESS,34.3%was used to feed the grid,and the remaining 37.64%was used to share the *** energy percentage sharing the load was 16.67%from ESS,33.33%from the PV system,and 50%*** average daily reference,array,and final yields were 6.07,4.327,and 3.991 h/day,*** average array and load efficiencies were 12.3%and 92.24%,with the performance ratio at 65.4%.

Both natural and synthetic peptides are not only biologically important,continuous research and comprehension of these short protein fragments show that they also have multifarious potentials in food manufacturing,namely emulsion-based *** emulsions may basically be oil-in-water or water-in-oil,as well as temporary,semi-permanent,or permanent in a continuous phase that suspends the droplets of the other elements used in food and pharmaceutical industries to formulate products such as gels,creams,ointments,and *** this review,the classification,preparation,and identification of peptides were described,followed by peptide-based emulsion properties and their relationship with regards to stability,structure,solubility,hydrophobicity,foaming,and water holding *** then dovetailed into the release rate and gastric stability of encapsulated peptides in the human digestive system,before exploring further needs and *** is desired that more studies be conducted to define the impact of carrier ingredients selection,encapsulation and processing techniques,environment,and peptides chemistry on peptide-based emulsions to attain high efficacy.
