Methodology f.r Automatically Setting Camera View to Mile Marker f.r Traf.ic Incident Management

Traf.ic incident management (TIM) is a f.WA Every Day Counts initiative with the objective of.reducing secondary crashes, improving travel reliability, and ensuring saf.ty of.responders. Agency roadside cameras play a critical role in TIM by helping dispatchers quickly identif. the precise location of.incidents when receiving reports f.om motorists with varying levels of.spatial accuracy. Reconciling position reports that are of.en mile marker based, with cameras that operate in a Pan-Tilt-Zoom coordinate system relies on dispatchers having detailed knowledge f.r hundreds of.cameras and perhaps some presets. During real-time incident dispatching, reducing the time it takes to identif. the most relevant cameras and setting their view on the incident is an important opportunity to improve incident management dispatch times. This research develops a camera-to-mile marker mapping technique that automatically sets the camera view to a specif.ed mile marker within the f.eld-of.view of.the camera. Over 350 traf.ic cameras along Indiana’s 2250 directional miles of.interstate were mapped to approximately 5000 discrete locations that correspond to approximately 780 directional miles (~35% of.interstate) of.camera coverage. This newly developed technique will allow operators to quickly identif. the nearest camera and set them to the reported location. This research also identif.es segments on the interstate system with limited or no camera coverage f.r decision makers to prioritize f.ture capital investments. This paper concludes with brief.discussion on f.ture research to automate the mapping using LiDAR data and to set the cameras af.er automatically detecting the events using connected vehicle trajectory data.

Magnetic resonance(MR)imaging is a widely employed medical imaging technique that produces detailed anatomical images of.the human *** segmentation of.MR im-ages plays a crucial role in medical image analysis,as it enables accurate diagnosis,treatment planning,and monitoring of.various diseases and *** to the lack of.suf.icient medical images,it is challenging to achieve an accurate segmentation,especially with the application of.deep learning *** aim of.this work is to study transf.r learning f.om T1-weighted(T1-w)to T2-weighted(T2-w)MR sequences to enhance bone segmentation with minimal required computation *** the use of.an excitation-based convolutional neural networks,f.ur transf.r learning mechanisms are proposed:transf.r learning without f.ne tuning,open f.ne tuning,conservative f.ne tuning,and hybrid transf.r ***,a multi-parametric segmentation model is proposed using T2-w MR as an intensity-based augmentation *** novelty of.this work emerges in the hybrid transf.r learning approach that overcomes the overf.tting issue and preserves the f.atures of.both modalities with minimal computation time and *** segmentation results are evaluated using 14 clinical 3D brain MR and CT *** results reveal that hybrid transf.r learning is superior f.r bone segmentation in terms of.perf.rmance and computation time with DSCs of.0.5393±*** T2-w-based augmentation has no signif.cant impact on the perf.rmance of.T1-w MR segmentation,it helps in improving T2-w MR segmentation and developing a multi-sequences segmentation model.

The Van Hoof.ef.ect is a phase shif. existing between the radial velocity curves of.hydrogen and metallic lines within the atmosphere of.pulsating *** this article,we present a study of.this phenomenon through the spectra of.the brightest pulsating star RR Lyr of.RR Lyrae stars recorded f.r 22 *** based ourselves,on the one hand,on 1268 spectra(41 nights of.observation)recorded between the years 1994 and 1997 at the Observatory of.Haute Provence(OHP,f.ance)previously observed by Chadid and Gillet,and on the other hand on 1569 spectra(46nights of.observation)recorded at our Oukaimeden Observatory(Morocco)between 2015 and *** this study,we have detected inf.rmation on atmospheric dynamics that had not previously been ***,the Van Hoof.ef.ect which results in a clear correlation between the radial velocities of.hydrogen and those of.the metallic lines has been observed and analyzed at dif.erent Blazhko phases.A correlation between the radial velocities of.dif.erent metallic lines located in the lower atmosphere has been observed as *** the f.rst time,we were able to show that the amplitude of.the radial velocity curves deduced f.om the lines of.hydrogen and that of.f.Ⅱ(λ4923.921?)increases toward the minimum of.the Blazhko cycle and decreases toward the maximum of.the same Blazhko ***,we f.und that the Van Hoof.ef.ect is also modulated by the Blazhko ***,toward the minimum of.the Blazhko cycle the Van Hoof.ef.ect is more visible and at the maximum of.the Blazhko cycle,this ef.ect is *** also observed the temporal evolution of.the amplitudes of.the radial velocities of.the lower and upper *** observed over a long time,we can interpret it as a f.nction of.the Blazhko phases.

Newcastle disease (ND) virus is a leading threat to commercial and domestic poultry in Pakistan. The virus inf.cts and constitutes irreversible impairment to the nervous system, damages the respiratory system, and marks severe gastrointestinal lesions leading to heavy mortality in short-living birds and substantial losses in layers and breeders. The continuous emergence and evolution of.the virus made it inclined to evade the humoral response and indirectly the circumvention of.artif.cial active immunization. Newcastle disease is caused by the orthoavula genus of.the paramyxoviridae f.mily and has shown high genetic diversity even in their genotypes while inf.rmation regarding enzootic trends of.the virus is scanty in Pakistan. A total of.40 tracheal samples of.NDV were collected f.om dif.erent commercial broiler f.rms and 11 isolates of.NDV were identif.ed. In the current study, we determined the genetic diversity of.the Newcastle disease virus based on the partial sequencing of.the f.sion protein gene available in the NCBI database. Genetic analysis showed that seven isolates belonged to class I genotype VII and f.ur belonged to class II genotype II. Interestingly, two isolates had epidemiological connections with vaccine-like class II genotype II. Our f.ndings, concerning the recent outbreaks of.class I genotype VII and class II genotype II of.NDV in vaccinated commercial f.ocks, suggest possible potential partial mutations in the f.sion protein gene. Genetic diversity and f.rmation of.the new cleavage site in an important neutralizing protein of.wild strain are linked with the potency of.artif.cial active immunization and a major cause of.vaccine f.ilure.

Phylogenetic and morphometric relationships between two species of.genus Auxis f.om the South China Sea and Java Sea

This study was aimed at examining the phylogenetic and morphometric relationship of.f.igate tuna（Auxis thazard） and bullet tuna（Auxis rochei） using mt DNA D-loop（control） region sequences and truss measurements,respectively. Maximum-likelihood（ML） tree and median-joining network showed that haplotypes f.om Auxis populations grouped separately. Discriminant f.nction analyses and non-metric multidimensional scaling of.morphometric data showed that bullet and f.igate tuna were dif.ered mainly with respect to truss measurements on the anterior region, suggesting adaptation to dif.erent diets available in dif.erent environments. Historic demographic analyses of.sequence data showed that both bullet and f.igate tuna had not undergone a signif.cant sudden population expansion recently. Non-signif.cant value of.Tajimas＇ s D and f.＇s f.S were indicated an ef.ective large and stable population size f.r longer period of.both species in South China Sea and Java Sea species. This study gives f.rst report on the complementary relationship between morphometric and genetic analysis in stock discrimination of.genus Auxis.

A low-prof.le ultra-wideband(UWB)band-stop f.equency selective surf.ce(f.S)is designed f.r S-,C-,X-and Ku-bands communication *** f.S is constructed by using square and circular loop elements printed on the top and bottom sides of.the RO3210 *** f.S has been designed to reduce the electromagnetic interf.rence(EMI)as well as to mitigate the harmf.l ef.ects of.electromagnetic radiation on the human body caused by dif.erent radio *** dimension and size of.the UWB f.S have been reduced to 0.12λ×0.12λand 90%,respectively,as compared to the reported *** other advantages of.the proposed f.S are that it is low prof.le,it has a simplif.ed geometry and it ensures better angular and polarization stability of.up to 85◦.The-10 and-20 dB bandwidths of.the proposed f.S are 146%(2.0-13.0 GHz)and 80%(4.87-11.42 GHz),*** results have been obtained using ANSYS Hf.S and verif.ed through measured results.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis is the causative agent of.tuberculosis(TB), which is still the leading cause of.mortality f.om a single inf.ctious disease worldwide. The development of.novel anti-TB drugs and vaccines is severely hampered by the complicated and time-consuming genetic manipulation techniques f.r M. tuberculosis. Here, we harnessed an endogenous type Ⅲ-A CRISPR/Cas10 system of.M. tuberculosis f.r ef.icient gene editing and RNA interf.rence(RNAi).This simple and easy method only needs to transf.rm a single mini-CRISPR array plasmid, thus avoiding the introduction of.exogenous protein and minimizing proteotoxicity. We demonstrated that M. tuberculosis genes can be ef.iciently and specif.cally knocked in/out by this system as conf.rmed by DNA high-throughput sequencing. This system was f.rther applied to single-and multiple-gene RNAi. Moreover, we successf.lly perf.rmed genome-wide RNAi screening to identif. M. tuberculosis genes regulating in vitro and intracellular growth. This system can be extensively used f.r exploring the f.nctional genomics of.M. tuberculosis and f.cilitate the development of.novel anti-TB drugs and vaccines.

In recent years,the number of.Gun-related incidents has crossed over 250,000 per year and over 85%of.the existing 1 billion f.rearms are in civilian hands,manual monitoring has not proven ef.ective in detecting *** is why an automated weapon detection system is *** automated convolutional neural networks(CNN)weapon detection systems have been proposed in the past to generate good ***,These techniques have high computation overhead and are slow to provide real-time detection which is essential f.r the weapon detection *** models have a high rate of.f.lse negatives because they of.en f.il to detect the guns due to the low quality and visibility issues of.surveillance *** research work aims to minimize the rate of.f.lse negatives and f.lse positives in weapon detection while keeping the speed of.detection as a key *** proposed f.amework is based on You Only Look Once(YOLO)and Area of.Interest(AOI).Initially,themodels take pre-processed f.ames where the background is removed by the use of.the Gaussian blur *** proposed architecture will be assessed through various perf.rmance parameters such as f.lse Negative,f.lse Positive,precision,recall rate,and f. *** results of.this research work make it clear that due to YOLO-v5s high recall rate and speed of.detection are *** reached 0.010 s per f.ame compared to the 0.17 s of.the f.ster *** is promising to be used in the f.eld of.security and weapon detection.
