Unveiling the hidden connection:Investigating the relationship between shared leadership and missed nursing care

Objectives:This study examined the levels of shared leadership and missed nursing care and their relationship among nurses in ***:A cross-sectional survey was *** February to April 2024,340 nurses worked in all inpatient care units at Alexandria Main University *** Shared Leadership and Missed Nursing Care Survey was used for ***:The overall score of shared leadership was(72.62±4.30),which imitates a high perception of shared leadership among nurses;the dimension of delegation achieved the highest average mean score(3.66±0.26),followed by collaboration(3.64±0.31),the vision dimension scored the lowest mean score(3.59±0.33).The elements of missed nursing care had a total score of(46.72±5.69),and the dimension of secondary care achieved the highest average mean score(3.74±0.31).The reasons for missed nursing care had a total mean score of(22.40±1.59),and the dimension of labor resources achieved the highest average mean score(3.20±0.22).Male nurses,less than 30 years old,married,held a bachelor’s degree in nursing sciences,less than five years of experience in the nursing profession,and less than five years of experience in the current working unit had higher total scores of the shared leadership and lower total scores of missed nursing care(P<0.001).A negative correlation existed between shared leadership and two dimentisons(the elements of nursing care[r=-0.383],the reasons for missing nursing care[r=-0.047])(P<0.001).Conclusions:The study’s findings can help as a theoretical underpinning for nursing leaders to stand in an environment that reduces the incidence of missed nursing care by encouraging teamwork,responsibility,workload management,and empowerment among nurses.

ELECTRICAL AND OPTICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF PMMA DOPED WITH Y_(0.0025)Si_(0.025)Ba_(0.9725)(Ti_((0.9))Sn_(0.1))O_3 CERAMIC

Poly（methylmetacrylate）（PMMA）/ Y0.0025Si0.025Ba0.9725 （Ti（0.9）Sn0.1）O3 （YBTS） composites were prepared at different weight ratios of YBTS （0 wt%, 5 wt%, 10 wt% and 20 wt% YBTS） in order to investigate effect of YBTS additions on the electrical and optical properties of PMMA host. The electrical properties （impedance, dielectric constant dielectric loss and AC conductivity） were studied in the frequency range 10 kHz-1 MHz and in temperature range 20-90℃. Upon increasing the contents of YBTS ceramic, we observed a reduction in the impedance and an increase in the dielectric constant, dielectric loss and AC conductivity of PMMA host. We also found that the relaxation process at high YBTS contents was due to relaxation in the ionic conductivity. The absorption coefficient （α） has been determined in the wavelength range 230-800 nm at room temperature for all YBTS-PMMA composites. Moreover, the addition of YBTS ceramic highly enhances the UV absorption of PMMA host especially below 300 nm. Addition of 20 wt% YBTS ceramic to PMMA host decreases the optical energy gap from 5 eV to 3.41 eV. Correlations between electrical, optical and SEM results are reported.

Intraperitoneal Instillation of Dexmedetomidine vs Dexamethasone as Adjuvant to Bupivacaine for Postoperative Pain in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, a Randomized Clinical Trial

Background: Intraperitoneal instillation (IPI) of local anesthesia was reported to reduce postoperative pain after laparoscopic surgeries. We aim to evaluate the effectiveness of IPI of bupivacaine + dexmedetomidine versus bupivacaine + dexamethasone on postoperative pain in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). Methods: This randomized clinical trial was carried out on one hundred patients who underwent LC under general anesthesia. Patients were randomly divided into: Group (Dexa): IPI of bupivacaine with dexamethasone and Group (Dexmed): IPI of bupivacaine with dexmedetomidine. Results: The first time to request analgesia was significantly delayed in the dexmed group (P value Conclusions: Intraperitoneal Bupivacaine + Dexmedetomidine provided longer pain-free postoperative duration lower pain score over time, and lesser analgesic consumption.

Face authentication is an important biometric authentication method commonly used in security *** is vulnerable to different types of attacks that use authorized users’facial images and videos captured from social media to perform spooﬁng attacks and dynamic movements for penetrating secur-ity *** paper presents an innovative challenge-response emotions authentication model based on the horizontal ensemble *** proposed model provides high accurate face authentication process by challenging the authorized user using a random sequence of emotions to provide a speciﬁc response for every authentication trial with a different sequence of *** proposed model is applied to the KDEF dataset using 10-fold *** improvements are made to the proposed ***,the VGG16 model is applied to the seven common ***,the system usability is enhanced by analyzing and selecting only the four common and easy-to-use ***,the horizontal ensemble technique is applied to enhance the emotion recognition accuracy and minimize the error during authen-tication ***,the Horizontal Ensemble Best N-Losses(HEBNL)is applied using challenge-response emotion to improve the authentication efﬁ-ciency and minimize the computational *** successive improvements implemented on the proposed model led to an improvement in the accuracy from 92.1%to 99.27%.

Influence of enhancing dynamic scapular recognition on shoulder disability,and pain in diabetics with frozen shoulder:A case report

Dimeric quinacridone cyclophanes: Synthesis,structures,and photophysical properties

Two novel quinacridone (QA) cyclophanes with intrinsic intramolecular dye-dye interactions have been designed and synthesized.X-ray crystal structures as well as detailed photophysical properties have been well *** two dyes have a major advantage that efficient fluorescence quenching can be observed even in their dilute solutions.A comparison of photophysical properties between the dimeric QA cyclophane and its reference monomeric counterpart indicates that the dimerization is predominant for the fluorescence quenching of QA dyes in *** study provided some model QA derivatives with dimeric structures for understanding the fluorescence quenching of QA dyes in solutions.

Heat Transfer Analysis of MHD Power Law Nano Fluid Flow through Annular Sector Duct
