Embedded fiber Bragg grating（FBG）sensors have been widely used for damage monkoring of fiber composite structures for a few ***,many remaining engineering challenges have delayed FBG based in situ structural health monitoring（SHM）*** of the major problem associated with FBG based SHM system is the unavailability of reliable data processing *** present work details a study which has been undertaken for identification of delamination crack propagation in composite plate under fiber reinforced polymer（FRP）uniaxial *** strain measured by embedded FBG sensors closer to the crack tip was used to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze delamination damage propagation using recently proposed elasto-plastic *** energy release rate was calculated and compared with the model *** study has concluded that the delamination crack propagation in a FRP composite can be monitored successfully using an integral approach of FBG sensors measurements and the predictions of proposed elasto-plastic model.

Reducing the concentration of the metallic impurities present in silicon-based electronic components plays a vital role in manufactures. Gettering by induced mechanical damage is one of the methods used in neutralizing these impurities. To simulate this type of gettering, we explicitly include the role of the traps due to mechanical damage, based on the mechanism of kick-out. In our model, we choose the essential parameters including concentration of impurities, thickness, temperature, time, etc. The diffusion coefficient and equilibrium concentration of the silicon interstitials estimated from the literature have been adjusted to be in good agreement with the experimental data.

Some two-microphone noise reduction techniques that work in the frequency domain exploit coherence function between two noisy signals. They have shown good results when noise signals on two sensors are uncorrelated, but their per-formance decreases with correlated noises. Coherence based methods can be improved when the cross power spectral density (CPSD) of correlated noise signals is available. In this paper, we propose a new method for estimation of the CPSD of the noise, which is based on the minimum tracking technique. Despite the fact that the proposed estimator does not need to implement a voice activity detector (VAD), its performance is comparable to a CPSD estimator that uses an ideal VAD.

Background: Arrhythmias after acute myocardial infarction are common. Bradyarrhythmias need specific insight into when and how to treat them. Objectives: To delineate the incidence, course, and management of different types of bradyarrhythmias after acute myocardial infarction, the study period was five years. Methods: 453 patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) were admitted to intensive care in five years. ECGs were analyzed for the presence of bradyarrhythmias and details of management. Results: 65 patients with bradycardia were found. Sinus bradycardia in 40, sick sinus syndrome in 10, junctional rhythm

A new structural optimization method of coupled extended finite element method and bound constrained quadratic optimization method(XFEM-BCQO)is adopted to quantify the optimum values of four design parameters for a circular tunnel lining when it is subjected to *** parameters are:tunnel lining thickness,tunnel diameter,tunnel lining concrete modulus of elasticity and tunnel lining concrete ***-Carlo sampling method is dedicated to construct the meta models so that to be used for the BCQO method using matlab *** simulations of the tensile damage in the tunnel lining due to a real earthquake in the literature are created for three design *** approach is used to show the cracks for the mentioned design *** results of the BCQO method for the maximum design case for the tunnel tensile damage was matching the results obtained from XFEM approach to a fair *** new coupled approach manifested a significant capability to predict the cracks and spalling of the tunnel lining concrete under the effects of dynamic earthquakes.

Drought was a severe recurring phenomenon in Iraq over the past two decades due to climate change despite the fact that Iraq has been one of the most water-rich countries in the Middle East in the *** Iraqi Kurdistan Region(IKR)is located in the north of Iraq,which has also suffered from extreme *** this study,the drought severity status in Sulaimaniyah Province,one of four provinces of the IKR,was investigated for the years from 1998 to ***,Landsat time series dataset,including 40 images,were downloaded and used in this *** Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and the Normalized Difference Water Index(NDWI)were utilized as spectral-based drought indices and the Standardized Precipitation Index(SPI)was employed as a meteorological-based drought index,to assess the drought severity and analyse the changes of vegetative cover and water *** study area experienced precipitation deficiency and severe drought in 1999,2000,2008,2009,and *** findings also revealed a drop in the vegetative cover by 33.3%in the year ***,the most significant shrinkage in water bodies was observed in the Lake Darbandikhan(LDK),which lost 40.5%of its total surface area in *** statistical analyses revealed that precipitation was significantly positively correlated with the SPI and the surface area of the LDK(correlation coefficients of 0.92 and 0.72,respectively).The relationship between SPI and NDVI-based vegetation cover was positive but not *** precipitation did not always correspond to vegetative drought;the delay of the effect of precipitation on NDVI was one year.

Three types of metal ions barium(Ⅱ),nickel(Ⅱ)and cerium(Ⅲ)complexity of ATN drug have been prepared and characterized using molar conductance method,FT-IR,electronic,and 1H-NMR analysis *** chemical and physical results for all atenolol complexes are agreement with the speculated *** the divalent(Ba&Ni)and trivalent(Ce)metal atenolol a molar ratio 1∶2 was *** chemical analysis showed that for the divalent metal complexes,the chloride ions are not involved in the complexes,suggesting that all of these complexes,[Ba(ATN)2]·2 H2O and[Ni(ATN)2(H2O)2]·4 H2O are ***,for the cerium(Ⅲ)complex,[Ce(ATN)2(NO3)]·3 H2O,the nitrate group is existed inside the coordination *** make astable metal complexity with barium(Ⅱ),nickel(Ⅱ)and cerium(Ⅲ)*** absorption analysis of Atenolol give two fundamental peaks at 225 nm and 274 nm refers to variation in transition electrons of ligand,UV spectral analysis of the three complexity obtained give asymmetric broad band in the range 200~400 nm,the reults are convenient with the suggestion of metal-nitrogen and metal-oxygen *** infrared analysis data proved that ATN act as bidentate ligand through the N atom of the-NH group and O atom of the deprotonated alcoholic OH ***(Ⅱ)and cerium(Ⅲ)complexity make six-coordinate geometry,whereas the barium(Ⅱ)complex exhibit four-coordinate ***(Ⅱ)-ATN complex has an effective magnetic moment equal 3.12 B.M,that is assigned to octahedral *** 1H-NMR spectral results of Ba(Ⅱ)-ATN complexity give strong signal at^4.00 ppm due to protons of-CH2 that influenced by low degree due to *** results confirm the position of chelation through the N atom of the-NH group and O atom of the deprotonated alcoholic OH group.

Cutaneous presentation revealing acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is rare, and the prognosis is poor. We report a case of an 11-month-old male who presented with cutaneous lesions present as diffuse purplish papulo-nodular lesions, revealing M5 acute myeloid leukemia. Skin biopsy and immunohistochemical examination, combined with routine blood analysis and bone marrow examination, contributed to early diagnosis. However, despite intensive chemotherapy treatment, the prognosis was poor and death occurred during the first months of treatment.

The problem of state feedback controllers for a class of Takagi-Sugeno （T-S） Lipschitz nonlinear systems is investigated. A simple systematic and useful synthesis method is proposed based on the use of the differential mean value theorem （DMVT） and convex theory. The proposed design approach is based on the mean value theorem （MVT） to express the nonlinear error dynamics as a convex combination of known matrices with time varying coefficients as linear parameter varying （LPV） systems. Using the Lyapunov theory, stability conditions are obtained and expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. The controller gains are then obtained by solving linear matrix inequalities. The effectiveness of the proposed approach for closed loop-field oriented control （CL-FOC） of permanent magnet synchronous machine （PMSM） drives is demonstrated through an illustrative simulation for the proof of these approaches. Furthermore, an extension for controller design with parameter uncertainties and perturbation performance is discussed.
