Artificial Intelligence Based Meteorological Parameter Forecasting for Optimizing Response of Nuclear Emergency Decision Support System

This paper presents a novel artificial intelligence (AI) based approach to predict crucial meteorological parameters such as temperature,pressure,and wind speed,typically calculated from computationally intensive weather research and forecasting (WRF) *** meteorological data is indispensable for simulating the release of radioactive effluents,especially in dispersion modeling for nuclear emergency decision support *** of meteorological conditions during nuclear emergencies using the conventional WRF model is very complex and ***,a new artificial neural network (ANN) based technique was proposed as a viable alternative for meteorological prediction.A multi-input multi-output neural network was trained using historical site-specific meteorological data to forecast the meteorological *** evaluation of this technique was conducted to test its performance in forecasting various parameters including atmospheric pressure,temperature,and wind speed components in both East-West and North-South *** performance of developed network was evaluated on an unknown dataset,and acquired results are within the acceptable range for all meteorological *** show that ANNs possess the capability to forecast meteorological parameters,such as temperature and pressure,at multiple spatial locations within a grid with high accuracy,utilizing input data from a single ***,accuracy is slightly compromised when predicting wind speed *** mean square error (RMSE) was utilized to report the accuracy of predicted results,with values of 1.453℃for temperature,77 Pa for predicted pressure,1.058 m/s for the wind speed of U-component and 0.959 m/s for the wind speed of *** conclusion,this approach offers a precise,efficient,and wellinformed method for administrative decision-making during nuclear emergencies.

The uncontrolled growth in urbanization and motorization generally contributes to an urban land use and transportation system that is socially, economically, and environmentally unsustainable. This paper uses Karachi as a case study, which is the largest urban and economic centre of Pakistan, passing through an uncontrolled phase of rapid urbanization and motorization. The paper first reviews research related to sustainable transportation systems to comprehend the concept of sustainable development and transportation. The paper then evaluates the existing transportation and infrastructure system, national transportation policies, and urban transportation projects to determine if the current paradigm is moving toward or away from sustainable transportation. Furthermore, the principles for sustainable urban transportation are developed to see what significance national transportation policies have given to urban transportation from a sustainable transportation point of view. Finally some strategies are suggested, adoption of which may lead to a sustainable urban development and transportation system in Karachi.

In this study, a novel 4-（（4-chlorophenylsulfonamido）methyl）cyclohexanecarboxylic acid（C（14）H（18）ClNO4S） was synthesized by the reaction of tranexamic acid and 4-chlororbenzene sulfonyl chloride in basic medium at room temperature. The molecular structure was determined by FT-IR, NMR, elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray analysis. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 12.3120（11）, b = 16.5987（19）, c = 7.6873（7）？, β = 90.495（6）o, Z = 4 and V = 1570.9（3）？~3, crystal size（mm） = 0.38 × 0.16 × 0.14 and Rint = 0.045. In this compound, the carboxylic acid A（O（1）/C（1）/C（2）） and the sulfonyl B（O（3）/S（1）/O（4）） moieties are of course planar. The molecules are dimerized due to the O–H…O type of H-bonding with the R22（8） ring motifs. The dimmers are interlinked through C–H…O and N–H…O types of H-bonding. The synthesized compound was screened against four bacterial and two fungal strains and inactive against all strains. Antioxidant activity was checked against DPPH. Enzyme inhibition activity was carried out using three different enzymes and the title compound was more potent α-chymotrypsin inhibitor.

The proper selection of the atomizer(droplet size)and nutrient solution spray interval is one of the most important factors to be investigated in aeroponics system for sustainable *** aim of this study was to research the effects of four aeroponics atomizing nozzles(one air-assisted;A_(1),two air-less;A_(2) and A_(3),and one ultrasonic fogger;A_(4))with droplet sizes of 11.24μm,26.35μm,17.38μm,and 4.89μm,respectively,four spray intervals(15 min(I_(1)),30 min(I_(2)),45 min(I_(3))and 60 min(I_(4)))at a 5 min of constant spray time by atomizing the Hoagland’s nutrient solution on growth,root-to-shoot ratio,photosynthesis characteristics,pigments,and nutritional quality of the aeroponically grown *** experimental results demonstrated that in A_(1) atomizer and I_(2) interval,the growth,photosynthesis efficiency,chlorophyll,carotenoids,and nutritional values of the lettuce were significantly higher compared to that grown in A_(2) and A_(3) atomizers at all spray *** shoot developments were more constrained than root,prominent to the alteration of root-to-shoot ratio(fresh and dry)in the influence of different droplet sizes and spray ***,the plants did not grow well in A_(4) atomizer associated with proposed spray *** results disclosed that there was an obvious interaction between droplet sizes(atomizers)and spray intervals for growth,the ratio of root to shoot,photosynthesis efficiency,pigments,and nutritional quality of the aeroponically grown *** research study increases the awareness of the proper droplet size(atomizer)and the regulation of nutrient solution spray interval for leafy vegetables grown in an aeroponics system.

Software Metrics have been proposed for procedural and object oriented paradigms to measure various attributes like complexity, cohesion, software quality, and productivity. Among all of these, “Complexity” and “Cohesion” are considered to be the most important attributes. As object oriented analysis and design appears to be at the forefront of software engineering technologies, many different object-oriented complexity and cohesion metrics have been developed. The aim of the paper is to compare some of the complexity and cohesion metrics and to analyze these metrics and expose their inconsistencies. The paper provides a brief introduction of CK and Morris’s metrics for calculating the complexity and cohesion of a software. The inconsistencies in these methods are exposed by providing various examples. The paper concludes by proving inconsistencies in CK’s cohesion matrices and Morris’s complexity matrices.

Objective: To determine the asymptomatic dengue infection in adults of Pakistani ***: This study was conducted in five major cities(Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore,Multan, and Peshawar) of Pakistan.A total of 5 230 adults aged 18 years and above without a history of dengue fever at any point in their life were enrolled from participating *** who were confirmed for dengue previously were *** the total, 62.6%(n = 3 276) were male with an average age of 34.6 *** were briefed about the objectives of the study, and written consent was obtained to perform dengue Ig G test using enzyme linked immunosorbent *** brief information related to age, gender and area was also taken on ***: Overall 32.3%(n = 1 691) was having asymptomatic dengue infection which was 67.5%(n = 756) in Karachi followed by 39.1%(n = 391) in Islamabad, 29.9%(n =316) in Lahore and 21%(n = 228) in Peshawar and none from *** males were affected with asymptomatic dengue infection than *** asymptomatic dengue infection was significantly higher in different cities; however, there was no significant difference with respect to age ***: The asymptomatic dengue infection is higher in cities ***,Islamabad and Lahore which are at risk of developing secondary dengue *** is a need of awareness among the public about secondary dengue infection.

Cupping （Hijama in Arabic） is an ancient, holistic method for the treatment of a variety of diseases. Though the exact origin of cupping therapy is a matter of controversy, its use has been documented in early Egyptian and Chinese medical practices. Diverse human civilizations have contributed to the historical development and continuation of cupping therapy. This narrative review describes the history of cupping, historical definitions, cupping instruments and uses of cupping therapy. Electronic searches of relevant databases （PubMed, Google Scholar and OvidSP） were conducted using keywords and Boolean operators. Manual searches and references of published articles and books were also conducted. A number of articles （N = 625） were retained for extensive review, and finally 83 articles were included in this paper. The historical descriptions of cupping therapy were found in ancient human civilizations of the Eastern and Western world. There were inconsistent data concerning the origin of cupping, definitions, instruments, procedures, definite advancements and research in Hijama over centuries. Cupping therapy fell out of favor in 17th and mid-18th centuries but recovered popularity in modem medicine. Currently, cupping therapy is used for health promotion, prophylaxis and treatment of a variety of diseases around the world. Cupping therapy with a good safety profile has a checkered history and is a well-recognized traditional method for managing medical conditions. Currently, the scope of cupping therapy is expanding, and a growing body of research is providing additional evidence-based data for the further advancement of cupping therapy in the treatment of a variety of diseases.

BACKGROUND Surgical site infections are a major cause of morbidity and mortality following orthopedic *** efforts to identify sources of contamination in the operating rooms have implicated mobile *** To investigate microbial colonization on the mobile phones of health care professionals in the orthopedic operating *** We conducted a cross-sectional study involving culture and sensitivity analysis of swabs taken from the mobile phones of orthopedic and anesthesia attendings,residents,technicians and nurses working in the orthopedic operating rooms over a period of two *** and cell phone related factors were recorded using a questionnaire and the factors associated with contamination were *** Ninety-three of 100 mobile phones were *** isolated were Coagulase-negative Staphylococcus(62%),Micrococcus(41%)and Bacillus(26%).The risk of contamination was increased with mobile covers and cracked screens and decreased by cell phone *** Mobile phones belonging to health care workers are frequently contaminated with pathogenic bacteria with the potential of transferring drug resistance to nosocomial *** investigating the relationship to surgical site infections need to be *** concept of"mobile hygiene"involving the change of mobile covers,replacement of cracked screens or even wiping the phone with an alcohol swab could yield the cost-effective balance that contaminated cell phones deserve until they are established as a direct cause of surgical site infections.

Real time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) requires a method to normalize the expression of target genes against an en- dogenous reference gene. It is known that commonly used housekeeping genes (HKGs) vary tremendously in inflam- matory conditions;however information about the stability and expression of HKGs in chronic inflammatory joint dis- ease such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is scarce. The expressional stability of 10 commonly used HKGs was analyzed in the neuronal (spinal cord, dorsal root ganglia) and in the musculoskeletal tissues (tendon, muscle, epiphysis, capsule, periosteum and ankle joint) using RT-qPCR in the rat model of RA. In individual tissues, suitable HKGs were selected by | △Ct| (│Ct control-Ct arthritis│) and further analyzed by using software programs;geNorm and normfinder. We found hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyl tranferase (HPRT) as the most stable gene except ankle joint while glyce-raldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) was found as the least stable gene in musculoskeletal tissues. In in-flamed ankle joint where no reference gene was found to be stably expressed, an inflammatory cell marker CD3 was used to normalize peptidylprolyl isomerase B (PPIB), the most homogenous HKG identified among the 10 HKGs. The normalized PPIB was then used to analyze the gene expression of neurokinin 1 (NK1), receptor of substance P, a potent pro-inflammatory mediator. We observed a 3.5 fold increase (p = 0.009) in NK1 expression in inflamed ankle joint compared to control. Our results indicate that reference genes stability should be evaluated before using them as refer- ence during inflammatory conditions. In tissues with intense inflammatory cell infiltration, an inflammatory cell marker should be used to normalize the selected reference gene to avoid erroneous results.
