In the current era of the internet,people use online media for conversation,discussion,chatting,and other similar *** of such material where more than one person is involved has a spate challenge as compared to other text analysis *** are several approaches to identify users’emotions fromthe conversational text for the English language,however regional or low resource languages have been *** Urdu language is one of them and despite being used by millions of users across the globe,with the best of our knowledge there exists no work on dialogue analysis in the Urdu ***,in this paper,we have proposed a model which utilizes deep learning and machine learning approaches for the classification of users’emotions from the *** accomplish this task,we have first created a dataset for the Urdu language with the help of existing English language datasets for dialogue *** that,we have preprocessed the data and selected dialogues with common *** the dataset is prepared,we have used different deep learning and machine learning techniques for the classification of *** have tuned the algorithms according to the Urdu language *** experimental evaluation has shown encouraging results with 67%accuracy for the Urdu dialogue datasets,more than 10,000 dialogues are classified into five emotions i.e.,joy,fear,anger,sadness,and *** believe that this is the first effort for emotion detection from the conversational text in the Urdu language domain.

Reforming of Methane by CO2 over Bimetallic Ni-Mn/γ-Al2O3 Catalyst

γ-Al2O3 supported Ni-Mn bimetallic catalysts for CO2 reforming of methane were prepared by impregnation method. The reforming reactions were conducted at 500-700℃ and atmospheric pressure using CO2/CH4/N2 with feed ratio of 17/17/2, at total flow rate of 36 mL/min. The catalytic performance was assessed through CH4 and CO2 conversions, synthesis gas ratio （H2/CO） and long term stability. Catalytic activity and stability tests revealed that addition of Mn improved catalytic performance and led to higher stability of bimetallic catalysts which presented better coke suppression than monometallic catalyst. In this work, the optimum loading of Mn which exhibited the most stable performance and least coke deposition was 0.5wt%. The fresh and spent catalysts were characterized by various techniques such as Brunauer-Emmett-Teller, the temperature programmed desorption CO2- TPD, thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, EDX, and infrared spectroscopy.

Gastrointestinal Diseases Classification Using Deep Transfer Learning and Features Optimization

Gastrointestinal diseases like ulcers, polyps’, and bleeding areincreasing rapidly in the world over the last decade. On average 0.7 millioncases are reported worldwide every year. The main cause of gastrointestinaldiseases is a Helicobacter Pylori (H. Pylori) bacterium that presents in morethan 50% of people around the globe. Many researchers have proposeddifferent methods for gastrointestinal disease using computer vision *** of them focused on the detection process and the rest of themperformed classification. The major challenges that they faced are the similarityof infected and healthy regions that misleads the correct classificationaccuracy. In this work, we proposed a technique based on Mask Recurrent-Convolutional Neural Network (R-CNN) and fine-tuned pre-trainedResNet-50 and ResNet-152 networks for feature extraction. Initially, the region ofinterest is detected using Mask R-CNN which is later utilized for the trainingof fine-tuned models through transfer learning. Features are extracted fromfine-tuned models that are later fused using a serial approach. Moreover, anImproved Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm has also opted for thebest feature selection from the fused feature vector. The best-selected featuresare finally classified using machine learning techniques. The experimentalprocess was conducted on the publicly available dataset and obtained animproved accuracy of 96.43%. In comparison with state-of-the-art techniques,it is observed that the proposed accuracy is improved.

Cursive text recognition of Arabic script-based languages like Urdu is extremely complicated due to its diverse and complex *** approaches like genetic algorithms have been used in the past for various optimization as well as pattern recognition tasks,reporting exceptional *** proposed Urdu ligature recognition system uses a genetic algorithm for optimization and *** the proposed recognition system observes the processes of pre-processing,segmentation,feature extraction,hierarchical clustering,classification rules and genetic algorithm optimization and *** pre-processing stage removes noise from the sentence images,whereas,in segmentation,the sentences are segmented into ligature *** features are extracted from each of the segmented ligature ***-feature hierarchical clustering is observed that results in clustered ***,classification rules are used for the representation of the clustered *** genetic algorithm performs an optimization mechanism using multi-level sorting of the clustered data for improving the classification rules used for recognition of Urdu *** conducted on the benchmark UPTI dataset for the proposed Urdu ligature recognition system yields promising results,achieving a recognition rate of 96.72%.

Soil mineral nitrogen dynamics in fallow periods in a rainfed semiarid Mediterranean agricultural system

Rainfed agricultural systems in semiarid Mediterranean environments are subject to erratic but often heavy rainfall *** an agronomic practice,fallow periods can be included even within the existing European Union common policy for crop *** study aimed to quantify the effects of previous mineral fertilization on soil mineral nitrogen(N_(min))content and potential nitrate leaching during no-till fallow periods of crop *** Leaching Estimation and Chemistry Model(LEACHM)was used for soil N_(min)prediction after *** fallow periods,N_(min)measured in the soil profile increased by an average of 125 kg N ha^(-1),whereas the model showed an average increase of 95 kg N ha^(-1).The amount of nitrogen(N)leached was estimated to be 11–38 kg N ha^(-1).The N balance simulated using LEACHM might differ from the actual *** calibrated LEACHM underestimated soil N_(min)after a drought period followed by soil water replenishment,probably due to a pulse in soil C and N mineralization caused by the wetting of dry soil,but overestimated soil N_(min)after occasional rainy spells when soil quickly became saturated,probably due to occasional nitrous oxide emissions not being fully accounted for by the model and specific preferential water flow,which might lead to greater nitrate leaching than that simulated by LEACHM using the convection-dispersion *** results show that soil N_(min)measurements after fallow periods cannot be well predicted by *** findings of this study provide a support for fertilization planning for crop rotation systems including a fallow period to avoid overfertilization in the following cropping season and reduce N environmental impacts.

Lap joining 5052 aluminum alloy to Ti6Al4V titanium alloy by GTAW process with AlSi12 filler wire

The process of gas tungsten arc welding(GTAW)is applied with AlSi12 filler metal to weld 5052 aluminum alloy and Ti6Al4V titanium alloy in lap *** welded lap joints showed dual features of welding and brazing on the aluminum and titanium parts of the joint,*** continuous reaction layer established in the brazed area and its chemical composition by EDS analysis revealed that the intermetallic compounds(IMCs)layer of Ti(Al,Si)3 phase formed and aluminum was partially substituted by *** thickness of reaction layer differed from 1μm to 3.5μm with increase in welding heat input ***,Ti and Si elements in the weld region and IMCs layer were recognized by analysis of *** maximum tensile shear strength attained at the optimized welding heat input was 376 N/mm and the joint fractured from 5052 aluminum alloy base ***,the microhardness was measured,and the hardness was higher at the Al/Ti interface than in the weld seam and Ti6Al4V alloy base metal because of the development of IMCs.

Differential gene regulatory pathways and co-expression networks associated with fire blight infection in apple(Malus×domestica)

Apple cultivars with durable resistance are needed for sustainable management of fire blight,the most destructive bacterial disease of *** studies have identified genetic resistance to fire blight in both wild species and cultivated apples,more research is needed to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying host–pathogen interaction and differential genotypic responses to fire blight *** have analyzed phenotypic and transcriptional responses of‘Empire’and‘Gala’apple cultivars to fire blight by infecting them with a highly aggressive *** *** progress,based on the percentage of visual shoot necrosis,started showing significant(p<0.001)differences between‘Empire’and‘Gala’4 days after infection(dai).‘Empire’seems to slow down bacterial progress more rapidly after this *** further compared transcriptome profiles of‘Empire’and‘Gala’at three different time points after fire blight *** genes showed differential expression in‘Gala’at earlier stages,but the number of differentially expressed genes increased in‘Empire’at 3 *** classes related to defense,cell cycle,response to stress,and biotic stress were identified and a few co-expression gene networks showed particular enrichment for plant defense and abiotic stress response *** of these genes also co-localized in previously identified quantitative trait locus regions for fire blight resistance on linkage groups 7 and 12,and can serve as functional candidates for future *** results highlight different molecular mechanisms for pathogen perception and control in two apple cultivars and will contribute toward better understanding of ***-Malus pathosystem.

Convolutional Neural Network for Histopathological Osteosarcoma Image Classification

Osteosarcoma is one of the most widespread causes of bone cancer globally and has a high mortality *** diagnosis may increase the chances of treatment and survival however the process is time-consuming(reliability and complexity involved to extract the hand-crafted features)and largely depends on pathologists’*** Neural Network(CNN—an end-to-end model)is known to be an alternative to overcome the aforesaid ***,this work proposes a compact CNN architecture that has been rigorously explored on a Small Osteosarcoma histology Image Dataaseet(a high-class imbalanced dataset).Though,during training,class-imbalanced data can negatively affect the performance of ***,an oversampling technique has been proposed to overcome the aforesaid issue and improve generalization *** this process,a hierarchical CNN model is designed,in which the former model is non-regularized(due to dense architecture)and the later one is regularized,specifically designed for small histopathology ***,the regularized model is integrated with CNN’s basic architecture to reduce *** results demonstrate that oversampling might be an effective way to address the imbalanced class problem during *** training and testing accuracies of the non-regularized CNN model are 98%&78%with an imbalanced dataset and 96%&81%with a balanced dataset,*** regularized CNN model training and testing accuracies are 84%&75%for an imbalanced dataset and 87%&86%for a balanced dataset.

Defocus blur detection using novel local directional mean patterns(LDMP)and segmentation via KNN matting

Detection and segmentation of defocus blur is a challenging task in digital imaging applications as the blurry images comprise of blur and sharp regions that wrap significant information and require effective methods for information *** defocus blur detection and segmentation methods have several limitations i.e.,discriminating sharp smooth and blurred smooth regions,low recognition rate in noisy images,and high computational cost without having any prior knowledge of images i.e.,blur degree and camera ***,there exists a dire need to develop an effective method for defocus blur detection,and segmentation robust to the above-mentioned *** paper presents a novel features descriptor local directional mean patterns(LDMP)for defocus blur detection and employ KNN matting over the detected LDMP-Trimap for the robust segmentation of sharp and blur *** argue/hypothesize that most of the image fields located in blurry regions have significantly less specific local patterns than those in the sharp regions,therefore,proposed LDMP features descriptor should reliably detect the defocus blurred *** fusion of LDMP features with KNN matting provides superior performance in terms of obtaining high-quality segmented regions in the ***,the proposed LDMP features descriptor is robust to noise and successfully detects defocus blur in high-dense noisy *** results on Shi and Zhao datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of defocus blur *** and comparative analysis signify that our method achieves superior segmentation performance and low computational cost of 15 seconds.

Axisymmetric Powell-Eyring fluid flow with convective boundary condition: optimal analysis

The effects of axisymmetric flow of a Powell-Eyring fluid over an impermeable radially stretching surface are presented. Characteristics of the heat transfer process are analyzed with a more realistic condition named the convective boundary condition. Governing equations for the flow problem are derived by the boundary layer approximations. The modeled highly coupled partial differential system is converted into a system of ordinary differential equations with acceptable similarity transformations. The convergent series solutions for the resulting system are constructed and analyzed. Optimal values are obtained and presented in a numerical form using an optimal homotopy analysis method （OHAM）. The rheological characteristics of different parameters of the velocity and temperature profiles are presented graphically. Tabular variations of the skin friction coefficient and the Nusselt number are also calculated. It is observed that the temperature distribution shows opposite behavior for Prandtl and Biot numbers. Furthermore, the rate of heating/cooling is higher for both the Prandtl and Biot numbers.
