this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the hom.t.py analysis m.t.od(HAm).the effects of significant flow param.t.rs on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local m.t.le number due to different involved param.t.rs are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength param.t.r and the radius of curvature param.t.r increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the m.t.le number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference param.t.r, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common cause of cancer-related death in Saudi *** study aimed to investigate the patterns of HCC and the effect of tNm staging,Alfa-fetoprotein(AFP),and Child-turcotte Pugh(CtP)on patients’overall survival(OS).m.t.ods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 43 HCC patients at a single oncology center in Saudi Arabia from 2015 to *** patients had to fulfill one of the following criteria:(a)a liver lesion reported as definitive HCC on dynamic imaging and/or(b)a biopsy-confirmed ***:the mean patient age of all HCC cases was 66.8 with a male-to-female ratio of 3.3:*** patients were stratified into two groups:viral HCC(n=22,51%)and non-viral HCC(n=21,49%).Among viral-HCC patients,55%were due to HBV and 45%due to *** was diagnosed in 79%of *** and sex did not significantly statistically differ in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value>0.05).About 65%of patients had tumor size>5 cm during the diagnosis,with a significant statistical difference in OS(p-value=0.027).AFP was>400 ng/ml in 45%of the *** was a statistically significant difference in the OS in terms of AFP levels(p-value=0.021).A statistically significant difference was also observed between the CtP score and OS(p-value=0.02).CtP class B had the longest *** was the most common treatment provided to HCC patients followed by sorafenib *** was a significant statistical difference in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value=0.008).Conclusions:the most common predictors for OS were the underlying cause of HCC,AFP,and tumor *** having non-viral etiology,a tumor size>5 cm,an AFP>400 ng/mL,and a CtP score class C were all negatively associated with OS.

magnetic nanofiuid hydrothermal analysis over a plate is studied that includes consideration of thermal radiation. the Runge-Kutta （RK4） m.t.od is utilized to get solution of ODEs which are obtained from similarity solution. In considering the impacts of Brownian m.t.on, we applied Koo-Kleinstreuer-Li cor- relation to simulate the properties of CuO-water. the influence is discussed of important param.t.rs such as the temperature index, magnetic, radiation, and velocity ratio param.t.rs and volume fraction of nanoparticle on hydrothermal behavior. Results illustrate that the coefficient of skin friction enhances with enhancing magnetic param.t.r while reduces with enhancing velocity ratio param.t.r. Also the Nusselt number was found to directly depend on the velocity ratio and temperature index param.t.rs but has an inverse dependence on the magnetic and radiation param.t.rs.

the multiple exp-function m.t.od is a new approach to obtain multiple wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (NLPDEs). By this m.t.od one can obtain multi-soliton solutions of NLPDEs. In this paper, using computer algebra systems, we apply the multiple exp-function m.t.od to construct the exact multiple wave solutions of a (2+1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon-manna-Pempinelli equation. Also, we extend the equation to a (3+1)-dimensional case and obtain some exact solutions for the new equation by applying the multiple exp-function m.t.od. By these applications, we obtain single-wave, double-wave and multi-wave solutions for these equations.

Common variants explain little of the variance of most common disease, prom.t.ng large-scale sequencing studies to understand the contribution of rare variants to these diseases. Imputation of rare variants from genome-wide genotypic arrays offers a cost-efficient strategy to achieve necessary sample sizes required for adequate statistical power. to estim.t. the performance of imputation of rare variants, we imputed 153 individuals, each of whom was genotyped on 3 different genotype arrays including 317k, 610k and 1 million single nucleotide polymorphisms （SNPs）, to two different reference panels： Hapmap2 and 1000 Genomes pilot march 2010 release （1KGpilot） by using ImPUtE version 2. We found that more than 94% and 84% of all SNPs yield acceptable accuracy （info 〉 0.4） in Hapmap2 and 1KGpilot-based imputation, respectively. For rare variants （minor allele frequency （mAF）〈5%）, the proportion of well- imputed SNPs increased as the mAF increased from 0.3% to 5% across all 3 genome-wide association study （GWAS） datasets. the proportion of well-imputed SNPs was 69%, 60% and 49% for SNPs with a mAF from 0.3% to 5% for 1m, 610k and 317k, respectively. None of the very rare variants （mAF 〈 0.3%） were well imputed. We conclude that the imputation accuracy of rare variants increases with higher density of genome-wide genotyping arrays when the size of the reference panel is small. Variants with lower mAF are more difficult to impute. these findings have important implications in the design and replication of large-scale sequencing studies.

the objective of this study was to investigate the effects of near-fault ground m.t.ons on substandard bridge columns and piers. to accomplish these goals, several large scale reinforced concrete models were constructed and tested on a shake table using near- and far-field ground m.t.on records. Because the input earthquakes for the test models had different characteristics, three different measures were used to evaluate the effect of the input earthquake. these measures are peak shake table acceleration, spectral acceleration at the fundamental period of the test specimens, and the specimen drift ratios. For each measure, force-displacement relationships, strains, curvatures, drift ratios, and visual damage were evaluated. Results showed that regardless of the measure of input or response, the near-fault record generally led to larger strains, curvatures, and drift ratios. Furthermore, residual displacements were small compared to those for columns meeting current seismic code requirements.

Composite polymer electrolytes（CPEs） comprising poly（vinilydene fluoride-hexafluoro propylene）, PVDF-coHFP and zinc triflate, Zn（CF3SO3）2 with varying concentrations of ZrO_2 nanofillers were prepared by solution casting technique with N,N-dim.t.yl formamide（DmF） as the common solvent. the polymer electrolyte specimen with the particular composition 75 wt% PVDF-co-HFP： 25 wt% Zn tf ＋ 7 wt% Zr O2 showed the highest conductivity of 4.6 × 10-4 S/cm at 298 K as confirmed from impedance measurements and favored by the rich amorphous phase of the CPE revealed from room.t.mperature X-ray diffraction analysis（XRD）. the electrical conductivity relaxation time and its distribution within the m.t.rials have been evaluated from.t.e electric modulus m 2 and impedance Z＂ data which showed the occurrence of non-Debye type of relaxation phenomenon. the changes in the surface morphology of the CPEs were examined using scanning electron microscopy（SEm）. the electrochemical stability window of CPE is found to be 2.6 V with a thermal stability up to 300 °C. An electrochemical cell has been fabricated based on Zn/mnO_2 electrode couple under a constant load of 1 mΩ and its discharge characteristics have been evaluated.

Field experiments were conducted at Cereal Crops Research Institute, Pirsabak, Nowshera, Pakistan, during winter 2003～2004; 2004～2005 to evaluate the effect of nitrogen; sulfur levels; m.t.ods of nitrogen application on canola (Brassica napus L. cv. Bulbul-98) under rainfed conditions. Four levels of S (0, 10, 20,; 30 kg/ha); three levels of N (40, 60,; 80 kg/ha); a control treatment with both nutrients at zero level were included in the experiments. Sulfur levels were applied at sowing while N levels were applied by three m.t.ods (100% soil application, 90% soil+10% foliar application,; 80% soil +20% foliar application). the experiments were laid out in randomized complete block (RCB) design having four replications. Oil content increased significantly up to 20 kg S/ha but further increase in S level did not enhance oil content. Glucosinolate content increased from 13.6 to 24.6 μmol/g as S rate was increased from 0 to 30 kg/ha. Protein content increased from 22.4% to 23.2% as S rate was increased from 0 to 20 kg/ha. Oil content responded negatively to the increasing N levels. the highest N level resulted in the highest values for protein (23.5%); glucosinolate (19.9 μmol/g) contents. m.t.ods of N application had no significant impact on any param.t.rs under study.
