This articles first investigates boundary integral operators for the three-dimensional isotropic linear elasticity of a biphasic model with piecewise constant Lam´e coefficients in the form of a bounded domain of arbitrary shape surrounded by a background *** the simple case of a spherical inclusion,the vector spherical harmonics consist of eigenfunctions of the single and double layer boundary operators and we provide their ***,in the case of many spherical inclusions with isotropic materials,each with its own set of Lam´e parameters,we propose an integral equation and a subsequent Galerkin discretization using the vector spherical harmonics and apply the discretization to several numerical test cases.

A Novel RGL2-DOF6 Complex Contributes to Primary Seed Dormancy in Arabidopsis thaliana by Regulating a GATA Transcription Factor

The DELLA protein RGA-LIKE2 （RGL2） is a key transcriptional repressor of gibberellic acid （GA） signaling that regulates seed germination. We identified GATA12, a gene encoding a GATA-type zinc finger transcription factor, as one of the downstream targets of RGL2 in Arabidopsis thaliana. Our data show that freshly harvested （unstratified） seeds of GATA 12 antisense suppression lines have reduced dormancy compared with the wild-type, while ectopic expression lines show enhanced seed dormancy. We show that GATA12 expression is negatively regulated by GA, and its transcript levels decline dramatically under dormancy- breaking conditions such as dry storage and cold stratification of seeds. GATA12 promoter has several GAMYB- and DOF-associated motifs that are known to be GA- and RGL2-responsive, respectively. Chromatin immunoprecipitation assay showed that a protein complex containing RGL2 can bind to GATA12 promoter and thereby regulate its expression. RGL2 lacks a DNA binding domain and requires a transcription factor to induce GATA12 expression. Our data show that this RGL2-containing protein complex includes DNA BINDING1 ZINC FINGER6 （DOF6）, which is a known negative regulator of germination in freshly harvested seeds. We further show that this novel RGL2-DOF6 complex is required for activating GATA12 expression, thus revealing a molecular mechanism to enforce primary seed dormancy.

In China,the ubiquity of mobile payment is *** buying groceries at the supermarket,taxi hailing to food delivery and online shopping to subway ticketing-services;all is simplified through the use of mobile payment *** the cash and card world of Switzerland,such a system seems *** the question: why have these two countries evolved so differently?The purpose of this dissertation is,thus,to provide the reader with a rigorous analysis of the development patterns of the Swiss and Chinese mobile payment *** such,this research promotes an understanding of the past,present and future states of mobile payment,with a focus on the point-of-sale in both China and *** the past and present developments can be explained thanks to the application of the path dependence theory,the future of mobile payment is discussed based on a scenario *** approach the topic,this dissertation is divided into several parts: firstly,a broad literature review of the research conducted on mobile payment and the research model employed for this investigation;secondly,a methodological approach based on data collected through interviews and a survey;thirdly,an empirical analysis and discussion on the findings,and lastly,an answer to the research questions raised at the beginning of the *** results are based on four in-depth interviews with subject-matter experts on mobile *** both Switzerland and China,an expert from an academic and executive background was interviewed which resulted in unique findings,especially when evaluating the country-and company-specific success ***,a survey to which 177 Swiss and 151 Chinese people responded,was carried out to gain insight into the consumer factors of mobile payment development *** of the main results of this study is that China,with its rapid development of mobile payment solutions,has undergone all the stages of what can be considered path dependence: the

Background:Soccer injuries constitute an important public health problem and cause a high economic ***,comprehensive data regarding injury costs in nonprofessional soccer are *** aim of this study was to determine which groups of nonprofessional soccer athletes,injury types,and injury situations caused high injury ***:A cross-sectional,retrospective telephone survey was carried out with a random sample of persons who had sustained a soccer injury between July 2013 and June 2014 and who had reported this accident to the Swiss National Accident Insurance Fund(Suva).One year after the corresponding accident,every injury was linked to its costs and to the answers obtained in the interview about injury setting,injury characteristics,and injury ***,the costs of 702 injuries were ***:The average cost of an injury in nonprofessional soccer amounted to€4030(bias-corrected and accelerated 95%confidence interval(BCa 95%CI):3427-4719).Persons aged 30 years and older experienced 35%of soccer injuries but accounted for 49%of all costs.A total of58%of all costs were the result of injuries that occurred during amateur *** particular,game injuries sustained by players in separate leagues for players aged 30+/40+years led to high average costs of€8190(BCa 95%CI:5036-11,645).Knee injuries accounted for 25%of all injuries and were responsible for 53%of all *** contact and foul play did not lead to above-average costs,twisting or turning situations were highly cost relevant,leading to an average sum of€7710(BCa 95%CI:5376-10,466)per ***:Nonprofessional soccer players aged 30 years and older and particularly players in 30+/40+leagues had above-average injury ***,the prevention of knee injuries,noncontact and nonfoul play injuries,and injuries caused by twisting and turning should be of highest priority in decreasing health care costs.

Objective:Evaluate the influence of fellowship training,resident participation,reconstruction type,and patient factors on outcomes after vasectomy reversals in a high volume,open access ***:Retrospective review of all vasectomy reversals performed at a single institution from January 1,2002 to December 31,2016 was *** and spouse demographics,patient tobacco use and comorbidities,surgeon training and case volume,resident participation,reconstruction type,and postoperative patency were collected and ***:Five hundred and twenty-six vasectomy reversals were performed during the study ***-up was available in 80.6%of the cohort and overall patency,regardless of reconstruction type was 88.7%.The mean time to reversal was 7.87 years(range of 0-34 years).The majority of cases included resident *** volume was high with faculty and residents logging a mean of 37.0 and 38.7(median 18 and 37)cases ***eral vasovasostomy was the most common reconstruction type(83%)and demonstrated a significantly better patency rate(89%)than all other reconstructions(p=0.0008).Overall patency and patency by reconstruction type were not statistically different among faculty surgeons and were not impacted by fertility fellowship training,resident participation or postgraduate *** analysis demonstrated that increased time to reversal and repeat reconstructions had a negative impact on patency(p=0.0023 and p=0.043,respectively).Conclusions:Surgeons with a high volume of vasectomy reversals have outcomes consistent with contemporary series regardless of fellowship training in *** was better for bilateral *** was not negatively impacted by tobacco use,comorbidities,resident participation,or post-graduate year.
