Background:Since 2005,the Myanmar National Tuberculosis Programme(NTP)has been implementing active case finding(ACF)activities involving mobile teams in hard-to-reach *** study revealed the contribution of mobile team activities to total tuberculosis(TB)case detection,characteristics of TB patients detected by mobile teams and their treatment ***:This was a descriptive study using routine programme data between October 2014 and December *** team activities were a one-stop service and included portable digital chest radiography(CXR)and microscopy of two sputum *** algorithm of the case detection included screening patients by symptoms,then by CXR followed by sputum microscopy for *** patients were started on treatment and followed until a final outcome was ***:A total of 9349 people with symptoms suggestive of TB were screened by CXR,with an uptake of 96.6%.Of those who were meant to undergo sputum smear microscopy,51.4%had sputum ***,504 TB patients were identified by the mobile teams and the overall contribution to total TB case detection in the respective townships was 25.3%.Among total cases examined by microscopy,6.4%were sputum smear positive *** success rate was high as 91.8%in study townships compared to national rate 85%(2014 cohort).Conclusions:This study confirmed the feasibility and acceptability of ACF by mobile teams in hard-to-reach contexts,especially when equipped with portable,digital CXR machines that provided immediate ***,the follow-up process of sputum examination created a significant barrier to confirmation of the *** order to optimize the ACF through mobile team activity,future ACF activities were needed to be strengthened one stop service including molecular diagnostics or provision of sputum cups to all presumptive TB cases prior to CXR and testing if CXR suggestive of TB.

This paper focused on developing an enhancement of the Vehicle Navigation System by using GPS. This system is helped driver navigate by displaying the current position of vehicle on a displayed map. This system is needed to store required map in PC storage. This system has two parts that involve hardware and software parts construction and the integration of both parts to create the system. It typically used GPS receiver to acquire position data of the vehicle. The microcontroller is connected the GPS receiver to extract vehicular data from GPS NMEA message strings. And then Microcontroller sent latitude and longitude data to PC storage to locate on map by using *** language. One part of Mandalay division is used as displayed map for this system. This map is developed from Google Earth. All interfacing is used serial communication. This system is located the vehicle navigation on Mandalay map. It is also approached to advance Navigation System and GPS technology.

Drought is one of the main factors limiting rice (Oryza sativa L.) productivity and has become an increasingly severe problem in many regions worldwide. Establishing breeding programs to develop new drought-tolerant varieties requires an understanding of the effect of drought on rice plants and the mechanisms of drought tolerance in rice. We conducted a pot experiment to explore growth characteristics, root plasticity, and stomatal conductance in six rice varieties (DA8, Malagkit Pirurutong, Thierno Bande, Pate Blanc MN1, Kinandang Patong, and Moroberekan) in response to different drought stress and re-watering conditions. Drought stress significantly depressed plant growth, root size, and stomatal conductance in all experimental varieties. These negative effects depended on both the variety and the severity of the drought stress treatment. Under moderate drought stress (10 days after drought treatment), growth was less influenced in roots than in shoots. In contrast, there was an opposite trend under severe drought stress (15 days after drought treatment), with growth being more severely affected in roots than in shoots. Rice plants recovered from drought stress in terms of dry matter accumulation, root size, and stomatal conductance after re-watering;however, the recovery pattern differed among varieties. DA8 exhibited the highest dry weight accumulation and root size (root length, root surface area, root volume, fine root length, and thick root length) under well-watered, drought stress, and re-watering conditions. Kinandang Patong showed the highest recovery ability in dry matter accumulation, root length, root surface area, and stomatal conductance after re-watering. Malagkit Pirurutong expressed the poorest recovery ability in dry matter accumulation after re-watering. These three varieties might be selected for further experiments focusing on the mechanisms of drought tolerance and recovery ability in rice.

The Kyaikhto gold district is located within the Slate Belt and Mogok Metamorphic Belt of Southern Myanmar. The study area is covered by Carboniferous to Lower Permian metasedimentary rocks consisting of slate, phyllite, and schist of the Mergui Group, intruded by later igneous rocks. Four gold occurrences have been identified in the Kyaikhto district: the Kunzeik in the north, Zibyaung, and Thae Phyu Chaung in the center and Meyon in the south. Gold mineralization in the Kyaikhto district is associated with sheeted, stockwork, dissemination, and sulfide-bearing quartz veins. Ore minerals recognized include sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite, molybdenite and pyrite with minor native gold and electrum. Two types of fluid inclusions were examined in the quartz samples of the Kunzeik and Zibyaung—Type A: aqueous carbonic fluid inclusions and Type B: aqueous fluid inclusions. At the Kunzeik, Type A fluid inclusions homogenize at temperatures from 296°C to 376°C with low salinities (1.6 - 4.6 wt% NaCl equivalent). The homogenization temperatures of Type B fluid inclusions in vein quartz range from 246°C to 312°C, with salinities of between 1.2 and 10.7 wt% NaCl equivalent. In the Zibyaung, the homogenization temperatures of Type A inclusions vary from 305°C to 378°C, with salinities from 4.6 to 9.6 wt% NaCl equivalent. The homogenization temperatures of Type B fluid inclusions mainly range from 242°C to 298°C, with salinities from 0.9 to 11.8 wt% NaCl equivalent. These characteristics of fluid inclusions are similar to those of orogenic gold mineralization systems.

双语实体在跨语言信息检索、机器翻译等领域有着非常重要的应用。由于缅甸语为资源稀缺语言,汉-缅双语语料库构建面临着很多困难。本文研究缅甸语语言特点、汉-缅双语可比语料库构建、汉-缅双语实体抽取方法,研究成果对开展汉-缅双语跨语言检索、机器翻译具有重要的应用价值。论文主要取得以下成果:(1)在缅甸语语言特点分析方面,分析了缅语字符、音节、词语、短语、句法等语言知识特点。构建了缅甸文的词性标注规范、缅甸文句子的词性标注、缅甸文中的助词特点。对语言规则进行分析为第四章研究作下基础工作。(2)汉-缅双语语料库构建方面,采用网络爬虫技术从互联中自动获取汉-缅双语文档。并通过人工进行校对构建了689篇汉-缅双语文档10118条汉-缅双语句对。(3)在汉-缅双语实体抽取方面,提出了基于汉-缅双语可比语料的双语实体抽取方法。首先,抽取中文句子中的实体以及实体类别、位置、长度等特征,以此对缅文实体所在句子中的位置及长度进行约束。然后,基于缅语助词对缅语句子进行功能标记,并对缅语候选实体片段进行切分。最后,通过计算中文实体与候选缅语实体片段之间的相似度,选取相似度最大的候选片段作为对应的缅语实体。实验证明了提出方法相比基于词典的方法具有明显的性能提升。(4)研发了汉-缅双语抽取原型系统,实现了从汉-缅双语可比文档中自动抽取双语实体,并将抽取到的实体自动保存到双语实体库中。

The Burma Terrane has yielded some of the earliest pieces of evidence for monsoonal rainfall in the Bay of ***,Burmese ecosystems and their potential monsoonal imprint remain poorly *** study focuses on the late Eocene Yaw Formation(23°N)in central Myanmar,which was located near the equator(c.5°N)during the *** quantitatively assessed the past vegetation,climate,and depositional environments with sporomorph diagrams,bioclimatic analysis,and sequence *** calculated the palynological diversity and drew inferences with rarefaction analysis by comparing with four other middle to late Eocene tropical *** results highlight a high floristic diversity for the palynoflora throughout the section formed by six pollen zones characterized by different *** indicate that lowland evergreen forests and swamps dominated in the Eocene Burmese deltaic plains while terra firma areas were occupied by seasonal evergreen,seasonally dry,and deciduous *** vegetation pattern is typical to what is found around the Bay of Bengal today and supports a monsoon-like climate at the time of the Yaw *** analysis further suggests that in the late Eocene,the Yaw Formation was more seasonal,drier,and cooler compared to modern-day climate at similar near-equatorial *** seasonal and drier conditions can be explained by a well-marked seasonal migration of the Intertropical Convergence Zone(ITCZ),driver of proto-monsoonal *** temperatures in the late Eocene of central Myanmar may be due to the lack of adequate modern analogues for the Eocene monsoonal climate,while those found at other three Eocene Asian paleobotanical sites(India and South China)may be caused by the effect of canopy evapotranspirational *** data suggest that paleoenvironmental change including two transgressive-regressive depositional sequences is controlled by global sea level change,which may be driven by cl

The n-type semiconducting titanium oxide thin films are well-known as electron transporting interlayer in photovoltaic cells. The favorable characteristics of interlayers in photovoltaics are high optical transmittance （T%）, wide band gap energy （Eg） and high electrical conductivity （σ）. Modifying titanium oxide films with metal nanoparticles would increase electrical conductivity but reduce optical band gap energy. We developed the sol-gel derived titanium suboxide （TiOx） films modified with silver （Ag） or gold （Au） or copper （Cu） nanoparticles （NPs）. This study explores a tradeoff between narrowing optical band gap and enhancing electrical conductivity of nanostructured TiOx films by controlling the Au- or Ag- or Cu-NPs loading concentrations （mol%） in titania. The Au- and Cu-NPs loading concentration of 4 mol% should meet a tradeoff which yields the higher T%, wider Eg and higher compared to those of pure TiOx films. In addition, since the pure Cu is not thermodynamically stable in ambience as compared to Au and Ag, the stability of as-obtained colloidal CuNPs is also examined. A careful examination of the time evolution of surface plasmon resonance （SPR） bands of CuNPs indicates that their stability is only up to 4 h.

Obesity and overweight problems are serious global health issues today and despite many efforts,the prevalence has continued to rise for ***,hypnotherapy has been gaining recognition as an effective treatment for obesity and overweight *** review compiles contemporary scientific research on the effectiveness of hypnotherapy for weight ***,Pub Med and EBSCO Host databases were applied in the *** search identified 119 articles,of which seven met the inclusion criteria.A total of 539 respondents(82.7%women and 17.3%men)between the ages of 17 and 67 years were represented in the seven *** studies incorporated lifestyle changes,such as changes of dietary habit and behavioral recommendations in the hypnotic *** results suggested that the use of hypnotherapy not only promoted weight reduction during the treatment period but also after treatment cessation,and in some cases,one to ten kilograms were lost during follow-up *** addition,one study even showed increased physical activity among the hypnotised *** use of hypnotherapy also improved respondents'eating behavior and quality of ***,a definitive conclusion could not be drawn due to several methodological flaws and the limited number of published studies in this ***,further well-designed studies are needed to substantiate the effectiveness of hypnotherapy for this modern-day health problem.

对缅甸东部掸邦地块二叠纪-三叠纪灰岩样品进行了饱和等温剩磁获得曲线及反向场退磁曲线、三轴等温剩磁的系统热退磁、磁化率-温度曲线等岩石磁学测试分析,试图通过岩石磁学方法识别缅甸掸邦地块二叠纪和三叠纪灰岩样品中的磁性矿物种类、含量等信息,为研究样品中主要磁性矿物所携带的特征剩磁分量的磁化年龄等性质提高可靠的基础,从而为进一步研究掸邦地块及滇缅泰地块晚古生代-早中生代的古地理位置等提供有力的证据.结果表明缅甸掸邦地块二叠纪和三叠纪灰岩样品中的主要磁性矿物为磁铁矿,或磁铁矿和针铁矿的组合,少部分三叠纪灰岩样品显示有赤铁矿、磁赤铁矿和针铁矿的组合.
