A large number of papers published in the last decades are related to the effect of ozone exposure on mortality worldwide. Several studies have been performed to investigate the effect of ozone on mortality in Madrid （Spain）, but the findings of these local reports were focused only on the Madrid city. The association of daily concentrations of ozone with daily mortality was investigated using autoregressive Poisson regression models. This study explores the effects of ozone on all causes except accidents, cardiovascular and respiratory short-term mortality in two areas of the Madrid region： an urban area constituted by the Madrid municipality and an industrial sub-urban area surrounding the city. Using three years of daily data （2003-2005）, it was analyzed the all-ages populations and the over-64 age groups. The average ozone concentrations over the study period were 54.07 ± 27.17 μg/m3 in the Madrid municipality and 70.09 ± 32.96 μg/m3 in the sub-urban municipalities surrounding the city. Our results in the all-ages group indicated that 0.69% of all causes except accidents, 1.15% of cardiovascular and 1.56% of respiratory daily deaths, respectively, could be attributed to exposure to ozone in the Madrid city, whereas 11.69% of daily respiratory deaths were attributable to ozone exposure in the Madrid sub-urban surroundings. Our results show a clear association between mortality and ozone exposure. The spatial heterogeneity of ozone effects on short-term mortality throughout the Madrid region may have implications for local environmental policies and also for social and health services pl.nning.

Objective:To assess the usefulness of IGRA test(QuantiFERON? -Cell mediated immune) compared with the tuberculin skin ***:A cross-sectional study was carried out in Mexico,25 infected patients with HIV-AIDS and the suspicion or with latent tuberculous infection （lTBI） who were>18 years of age and without treatment for tuberculosis（TB）,were enrolled in the ***:Median cluster of differentiation（CD4） count was 364 cells/μl and median HIV viral load was 50 copies/***,20 patients（80%） had at least one positive diagnostic test for lTBI:four（16%） had a positive tuberculin skin test and 19（76%）,a positive QuantiFERON ? -***:No agreement is found between the two diagnostic tests:k = -0.004,95%confidence interval（-0.2219,0.2210）.Additional longitudinal studies among HIV-infected populations with high prevalence of TB are needed to further assess the usefulness of IGRAs in this patient population.

For the last 40 years,the study of cooperative breeding(CB)in birds has proceeded primarily in the context of discovering the ecological,geographical,and behavioral drivers of *** advent of molecular tools in the early 1990s assisted in clarifying the relatedness of helpers to those helped,in some cases,confirming predictions of kin selection *** for genome-wide analysis of sequence variation,gene expression,and epigenetics promise to add new dimensions to our understanding of avian CB,primarily in the area of molecular and developmental correlates of delayed breeding and dispersal,as well as the ontogeny of achieving parental status in ***,we outline key ways in which modern-omics approaches,in particular genome sequencing,transcriptomics,and epigenetic profiling such as ATAC-seq,can be used to add a new level of ana-lysis of avian *** on recent and ongoing studies of avian social behavior and sociogenom-ics,we review how high-throughput sequencing of a focal species or clade can provide a robust foundation for downstream,context-dependent destructive and non-destructive sampling of spe-cific tissues or physiological states in the field for analysis of gene expression and epigenetics.-Omics approaches have the potential to inform not only studies of the diversification of CB over evolutionary time,but real-time analyses of behavioral interactions in the field or *** of birds represents a new branch in the network of methods used to study CB,and can help clarify ways in which the different levels of analysis of CB ultimately interact in novel and unexpected ways.

将用电磁方法悬浮起来的一对环构成领导者–跟随者系统实现对光滑参考轨线的跟踪要求.这一任务通过设计具有对扰动进行在线估计与补偿功能的自抗扰控制器(ADRC)实现.本文设计方法与传统ADRC的主要不同在于领导者和跟随者的跟踪控制器设计都是基于平坦输出的线性化近似系统.超出线性化近似有效区域的大的高度偏差所导致的未知非线性则被视为扰动,这个扰动借助于线性扩张观测器进行在线估计并通过线性反馈控制器进行消除.实验结果检验了本文所提方法的有效性.

An Integrated ISFET pH Microsensor on a CMOS Standard Process

We present the design and integration of a nine-pH microsensor array on a single silicon substrate with its own signal readout circuit, integrated in a 0.6-μm commercial standard complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) process. An ion sensitive field effect transistor (ISFET) has been used as pH microsensor and an instrumentation amplifier as the read-out circuit. The ISFET structure is conformed by the channel length and ratio of MOS transistor, gate extended and the selective membrane, for which silicon nitride (Si3N4) is employed as an ion selective element. The complete design includes shielding around the pH microsensor and the readout circuit to avoid leakage of current to the substrate. The readout circuit is composed by three operational amplifiers and resistances that form the instrumentation amplifier, with a ±2.5 V bias has a 50 dB gain, power supply rejection ratio (PSSR) of 120 dB and common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 127 dB. The complete system is integrated in a 1.12 mm2 silicon area;it presents a 59 mV/pH linearity, within a concentration range of 2 to 12 of pH level, making it a good alternative for biological or medical applications.

The effects of applying an electromagnetic interaction of low intensity (EMIlI) on the microstructure and corrosion resistance of 7075-T651 Al alloy plates (13 mm in thickness) during modified indirect electric arc (MIEA) welding were investigated. The welding process was conducted in a single pass with a heat input of ~1.5 kJ/mm. The microstructural observations of the welds were correlated with the effect of EMIlI on the local mechanical properties and the corrosion resistance in natural seawater by means of microhardness measurements and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, respectively. Microstructural characterization of the welds revealed a grain refinement in the weld metal due to the electromagnetic stirring induced by EMIlI of 3 mT during welding. In addition, observations in the scanning electron microscope showed that the precipitation of Cu-rich phases and segregation of eutectics were reduced in the heat affected zone (HAZ) also as an effect of EMIlI. The high corrosion dissolution of the 7075-T651 welds in natural seawater and the extent of overaging in the HAZ were reduced when welding with EMIlI of 3 mT. Thus, EMIlI along with the MIEA technique may lead to welded joints with better microstructural characteristics, improved mechanical properties in the HAZ and reduced electrochemical activity.
