Choosing the best way for describing physical reality has always been standing in focus of *** methodologies have been developed based on classical mathematics,or statistics and also new disciplines-such as soft-computing *** Nets as one of the most naturalistic modeling methodologies are well suited to describe complex process in *** in some fields of modeling the describing power of basic petri Nets proved not to be robust enough,therefore several exten-sions were made to the original *** tokens(Colored petri Nets),stochastic delayed streaming of mobile entities(Stochastic petri Nets),object oriented architecture(Object Oriented petri Nets),numerical(Numerical petri Nets)and linguistic attributes(Fuzzy petri Nets)broaden the range of *** some fields of problem solv-ing,usage of static and mobile knowledge bases is needed:e.g.,flexible manufacturing systems,or intelligent traffic *** problems to be investigated involved new conceptual developments of petri Nets and led to the introduction of Knowledge Attributed petri *** the same time distributed control in simulation appeared,intelligent agents supported the connection of mobile knowledge bases and static infer-ence engines in an effective *** mentioned extensions brought general support in model synthesis,but some unsolved questions remained related to the implementation of intelligent mobile *** paper highlights a new level of AI controlled simulation introducing the Extended Knowledge Attributed petri Nets that offer the capability of easy implementation of mobile inference engines and knowledge base,providing general mobile AI in petri Nets.

In this paper we would like to give a brief review about the extensibility of the liquid-liquid locus into the negativepressure region. Negative pressure states are hardly explored; most researchers believe that the pressure scale ends at p = *** would like to show that this is not true, the p = 0 point is not a special point for liquids, it can be 'easily' crossed. We aregoing to give a few example, where the extension of liquid-liquid locus for polymer blends and solutions below p = 0 givesus some interesting results, like the merging of UCST and LCST branches in weakly interacting polymer solutions or thereason why most UCST blends exhibit pressure induced immiscibility. Also, we will see what happens with the immiscibilityisland of aqueous polymer solutions when -- reaching the critical molar mass -- it 'disappears'.

partial pre-image attack on proof-of-Work based blockchains

Blockchain is a type of distributed ledger technology that consists of a growing list of records,called blocks,that are securely linked together using *** blockchain-based solution deploys a specific consensus algorithm that guarantees the consistency of the ledger over *** most famous,and yet claimed to be the most secure,is the proof-of-Work(poW)consensus *** this paper,we revisit the fundamental calculations and assumptions of this algorithm,originally presented in the Bitcoin white *** break down its claimed calculations in order to better understand the underlying assumptions of the *** also propose a novel formalization model of the poW mining problem using the Birthday *** utilize this model to formalize and analyze partial pre-image attacks on poW-based blockchains,with formal analysis that confirms the experimental results and the previously proposed *** build on those analyses and propose new concepts for benchmarking the security of poW-based systems,including Critical Difficulty and Critical Difficulty per given *** calculations result in several important findings,including the profitability of launching partial pre-image attacks on poW-based blockchains,once the mining puzzle difficulty reaches a given ***,for any compromised portion of the network(qption still holds),the attack is formally proven profitable once the poW mining puzzle difficulty reaches 56 leading zeros.

Autoimmune pancreatitis: Functional and morphological recovery after steroid therapy

Autoimmune pancreatitis, a recently recognized type of chronic pancreatitis, is not rare in Japan, but reports of it elsewhere are relatively uncommon. We report the first preoperatively diagnosed case of autoimmune pancreatitis in Hungary, which responded well to steroid treatment and provided radiographic and functional evidence of this improvement. A 62-year-old female presented with a 4-month history of recurrent epigastric pain and a 5-kg weight loss. The oral glucose tolerance test （OGTT） indicated diabetes mellitus and the result of the fecal elastase test was abnormal. Ultrasonography （US） and the CT scan demonstrated a diffusely enlarged pancreas, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography （ERCp） an irregular main pancreatic duct with long strictures in the head and tail. Autoimmune pancreatitis was diagnosed. The patient was started on 32 mg prednisolone daily, After 4 wk, the OGTT and faecal elastase test results had normalized. The repeated US and CT scan revealed a marked improvement of the diffuse pancreatic swelling, while on repeated ERCp, the main pancreatic duct narrowing was seen to be ameliorated. It is important to be aware of this disease and its diagnosis, because AIp can clinically resemble pancreatobiliary malignancies, or chronic or acute pancreatitis, However, in contrast with chronic pancreatitis, its symptoms and morphologic and laboratory alterations are completely reversed by oral steroid therapy.

Transparent microelectrode arrays enable simultaneous electrical recording and optical imaging of neuronal networks in the *** made of the conducting polymer poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)doped with polystyrene sulfonate(pEDOT:pSS)are transparent;however,device fabrication necessitates specific processes to avoid deterioration of the organic ***,we present an innovative fabrication scheme for a neural probe that consists of transparent pEDOT:pSS electrodes and demonstrate its compatibility with 2-photon *** electrodes show suitable impedance to record local field potentials from the cortex of mice and sufficient transparency to visualize GCaMp6f-expressing neurons underneath the pEDOT:pSS *** results validate the performance of the neural probe,which paves the way to study the complex dynamics of in vivo neuronal activity with both a high spatial and temporal resolution to better understand the brain.

Comparison of wheat-based rotation systems and monocropping systems under dryland Mediterranean conditions

Mono-cropping systems consisting of general low-yielding cereals are crucial productivity constraints in dry areas of the Mediterranean region.A crop rotation consisting of quinoa(Chenopodium quinoa Willd.)-wheat(Triticum aestivum L)-chickpea(Cicer arietinum)was compared with monocropping in the Mediterranean region of Turkey.A four year crop rotation trial was set up in Adana,Turkey.A total of nine crop rotation systems of Quinoa(Q),chickpea(L)and wheat(W)were considered in this *** four year results revealed that there was significant difference in grain and biomass yields,but no significant difference in plant height,harvest index,and 1000 grain weight of wheat among the treatments in crop rotation except number of grains per spike and soil organic *** wheat and chickpea-wheat-chickpea-wheat(LWLW)produced significantly greater grain yield in 2010/2011 and 2011/*** and QWQW rotation produced significantly lower biomass yield in 2008/*** maximum biomass yield of LWLW rotation resulted in 2011/2012 growing ***,the effect of previous crop on wheat grain and biomass yield in the four years of the rotation study was significantly *** the long run,the favorable effects of legume-based rotations on crop yields and water productivity are apparent.

Enteral nutrition in acute pancreatitis:A review of the current evidence

The use of enteral feeding as part of the management of acute pancreatitis dates back almost two *** review describes the indications for and limitations of enteral feeding for the treatment of acute pancreatitis using up-to-date evidence-based data.A systematic review was carried out to analyse current data on the use of enteral nutrition in the management of acute *** literature was analysed from the viewpoints of enteral vs parenteral feeding,early vs delayed enteral nutrition,nasogastric vs nasojejunal feeding,and early oral diet and immunonutrition,particularly glutamine and probiotic ***,current applicable guidelines and the effects of these guidelines on clinical practice are *** latest meta-analyses suggest that enteral nutrition significantly reduces the mortality rate of severe acute pancreatitis compared to parenteral *** maintain gut barrier function and prevent early bacterial translocation,enteral feeding should be commenced within the first 24 h of hospital ***,the safety of nasogastric feeding,which eases the administration of enteral nutrients in the clinical setting,is likely equal to nasojejunal ***,an earlylow-fat oral diet is potentially beneficial in patients with mild *** the initial encouraging results,the current evidence does not support the use of immunoenhanced nutrients or probiotics in patients with acute pancreatitis.
