In this study, we propose an algorithm selection method based on coupling strength for the partitioned analysis ofstructure-piezoelectric-circuit coupling, which includes two types of coupling or inverse and direct piezoelectriccoupling and direct piezoelectric and circuit coupling. In the proposed method, implicit and explicit formulationsare used for strong and weak coupling, respectively. Three feasible partitioned algorithms are generated, namely(1) a strongly coupled algorithm that uses a fully implicit formulation for both types of coupling, (2) a weaklycoupled algorithm that uses a fully explicit formulation for both types of coupling, and (3) a partially stronglycoupled and partially weakly coupled algorithm that uses an implicit formulation and an explicit formulation forthe two types of coupling, *** examples using a piezoelectric energy harvester,which is a typicalstructure-piezoelectric-circuit coupling problem, demonstrate that the proposed method selects the most costeffectivealgorithm.

To explore thin transparent electroluminescence and electric conductive films by sol-gel technique, Sb2O3 doped n-type ZnO ceramics powders were prepared by sol-gel technique and photoluminescence properties were measured. Then, the influences of composition and heat treatment temperature on photoluminescence properties were investigated in detail. With respect to the dopant concentration, about 1mol% addition of Sb2O3 was effective to increase photoluminescence intensity. With respect to heat treatment temperature, 800℃ was appropriate, and rather higher heat treatment temperature resulted in the formation of Zn7Sb2O12 and decrease the intensity. The excited ultraviolet wavelength of 200nm was proper to intense photoluminescence.

Tuberculous otitis media(TOM) is a rare manifestation caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis with low incidence rates among extrapulmonary tuberculosis cases. Diagnosis is often delayed because of the presence of several clinical manifestations and the high prevalence of secondary bacterial infections. Few reports have attributed secondary bacterial infections in patients with TOM to commensal Neisseria. Thus, understanding the pathogenic mechanisms and clinical features of commensal Neisseria is important, considering its recent presentation as an infection-causing pathogen. Neisseria mucosa is a commensal inhabitant in humans and is generally considered non-pathogenic but can cause infection in rare cases. Here, we report an atypical secondary infection caused by Neisseria mucosa in an 81-year-old woman with TOM being treated for pulmonary tuberculosis. Direct purulent otorrhea smear microscopy revealed no acid-fast bacilli using Ziehl-Neelsen staining, whereas the phagocytosis of gram-negative cocci by white blood cells was confirmed using Gram staining. Otorrhea culture revealed the growth of N. mucosa. Subsequently, M. tuberculosis infection in the otorrhea was identified using a culture-based method. Vigilance is critical for the early detection of TOM to prevent further complications. This report raises awareness regarding TOM and provides insight into the pathogenicity of N. mucosa in otitis media.

The immune-stromal cell interactions play a key role in health and diseases. In periodontitis, the most prevalent infectious disease in humans, immune cells accumulate in the oral mucosa and promote bone destruction by inducing receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand (RANKL) expression in osteogenic cells such as osteoblasts and periodontal ligament cells. However, the detailed mechanism underlying immune–bone cell interactions in periodontitis is not fully understood. Here, we performed single-cell RNAsequencing analysis on mouse periodontal lesions and showed that neutrophil–osteogenic cell crosstalk is involved in periodontitis-induced bone loss. The periodontal lesions displayed marked infiltration of neutrophils, and in silico analyses suggested that the neutrophils interacted with osteogenic cells through cytokine production. Among the cytokines expressed in the periodontal neutrophils, oncostatin M (OSM) potently induced RANKL expression in the primary osteoblasts, and deletion of the OSM receptor in osteogenic cells significantly ameliorated periodontitis-induced bone loss. Epigenomic data analyses identified the OSM-regulated RANKL enhancer region in osteogenic cells, and mice lacking this enhancer showed decreased periodontal bone loss while maintaining physiological bone metabolism. These findings shed light on the role of neutrophils in bone regulation during bacterial infection, highlighting the novel mechanism underlying osteoimmune crosstalk.

To meet the specification of sulfur and aromatic contents in diesel fuel, it is necessary for refiners to develop a new catalyst with high activity of hydrodesulfurization and hydrogenation. In the present study, the properties of noble metal catalysts for hydrodesulfurization and hydrogenation in the presence of sulfur compounds have been investigated. The hydrogenation activity of phenanthrene (PHE) on single noble metal and double noble metal catalysts—Pt/Al 2O 3, Pd/Al 2O 3 and Pd Pt/Al 2O 3 in the presence of dibenzothiophene (DBT) was perforrned in a fixed bed flow reactor. The Pt based catalysts revealed the similar HDS activities and higher HYD activity compared with convertional Mo based ca talysts . The maximum activity was obtained around 320 ℃ for both catalyst types. The Pt based catalysts produced perhydrophenanthrene as a major product at the maximum activity in the hydrogenation of PHE while the Mo based catalysts produced octahydrophenanthrene. A 35 S radioisotope pulse tracer method ( 35 S RPTM) was used to estimate the behavior of sulfur on the working catalysts and to clarity the differences between Pt and Mo based catalysts. Very little amount of labile sulfur was accumulated on the Pt and Pd catalysts in the HDS of [ 35 S]DBT (PtS 0.25 or PdS 0.25 ). This indicates that the mechanism of DBT HDS on noble metal catalysts is significantly different from that on conventional Mo based catalysts where Mo is present as MoS 2 less than 60% of which can be labile in the case of Co Mo/Al 2O 3. Another Ru Cs/Al 2O 3 catalysts were also prepared and the behavior of sulfur on the working catalyst was compared with those of Mo based catalysts and Pt and Pd catalysts. The values of labile sulfur in the HDS reaction for Ru Cs catalysts approximately correspond to RuS 0.5-0.74 . These amounts of labile sulfur are much higher than those for Pt and Pd catalysts. 已有的研究表明,要使LKA系统能自适应于不同驾驶员的前提是,驾驶员喜好的LKA介入时机特性与其自身的自然驾驶特性相符合,但现实情况如何目前尚无定论。为此,本文中通过主客观评价试验获取驾驶员喜好的LKA介入时机客观指标;并采集驾驶员的自然驾驶数据,提取驾驶员转向回正点,对转向回正点进行特性量化并提取相应的指标。通过对比驾驶员喜好的LKA介入时机特性指标及其自然驾驶时的转向回正点指标发现,12.5%的驾驶员喜好的LKA介入时机特性与其自然驾驶特性存在显著差异。

Ultrafast reorientation of the Néel vector in antiferromagnetic Dirac semimetals

Antiferromagnets exhibit distinctive characteristics such as ultrafast dynamics and robustness against perturbative fields,thereby attracting considerable interest in fundamental physics and technological ***,it was revealed that the Néel vector can be switched by a current-induced staggered(Néel)spin-orbit torque in antiferromagnets with the parity-time symmetry,and furthermore,a nonsymmorphic symmetry enables the control of Dirac ***,the real-time dynamics of the magnetic and electronic structures remain largely ***,we propose a theory of the ultrafast dynamics in antiferromagnetic Dirac semimetals and show that the Néel vector is rotated in the picosecond timescale by the terahertz-pulse-induced Néel spin-orbit torque and other torques originating from magnetic *** reorientation accompanies the modulation of the mass of Dirac fermions and can be observed in real time by the magneto-optical *** results provide a theoretical basis for emerging ultrafast antiferromagnetic spintronics combined with the topological aspects of materials.

This paper demonstrates the importance of three-dimensional(3-D)piezoelectric coupling in the electromechanical behavior of piezoelectric devices using three-dimensional finite element analyses based on weak and strong coupling models for a thin cantilevered piezoelectric bimorph *** is found that there is a significant difference between the strong and weak coupling solutions given by coupling direct and inverse piezoelectric effects(i.e.,piezoelectric coupling effect).In addition,there is significant longitudinal bending caused by the constraint of the inverse piezoelectric effect in the width direction at the fixed end(i.e.,3-D effect).Hence,modeling of these effects or 3-D piezoelectric coupling modeling is an electromechanical basis for the piezoelectric devices,which contributes to the accurate prediction of their behavior.
