Barley(Hordeum vulgare ***)is one of the first crops to be domesticated and is adapted to a wide range of *** barley germplasm collections possess valuable allelic variations that could further improve barley *** barley genomics has offered a global picture of allelic variation among varieties and its association with various agronomic traits,polymorphisms from East Asian varieties remain *** this study,we analyze exome polymorphisms in a panel of 274 barley varieties collected worldwide,including 137 varieties from East Asian countries and *** reveal the underlying population structure and conduct genome-wide association studies for 10 agronomic ***,we examin genome-wide associations for traits related to grain size such as awn length and glume *** results demonstrate the value of diverse barley germplasm panels containing Eastern varieties,highlighting their distinct genomic signatures relative to Western subpopulations.

描述了如何使用蒙特卡罗方法评估产生在加速器屏蔽混凝土中的感生放射性.使用EGS4程序模拟了NaI闪烁探测器测量屏蔽混凝土块表面剂量率时,对于半径和厚度的响应.结果发现,在屏蔽混凝土块半径和厚度分别达到40cm和30cm时,表面剂量率达到饱和.研究了东京大学SF回旋加速器北墙位置8和位置9的表面剂量率,并和使用NaI闪烁探测器的测量结果进行了对比,发现模拟和实验结果符合很好.并且,获得了表面剂量和表面感生放射性之间的转换系数,对于^(60)Co转换系数为0.90(Bq.g^(-1))·(μSv·h^(-1))^(-1),对于^(152)Eu转换系数为1.26(Bq.g^(-1))·(μSv.h^(-1))^(-1)。这样,就可以通过NaI闪烁探测器表面剂量的测量结果简单评估加速器设备屏蔽混凝土中的感生放射性.

＜正＞Van-Van Multi-Angle Color Sensor System, one of the latest innovations of Kansai Paint, is designed for the purpose of supporting the advanced automotive refinish coatings. This system consists of’FA Station’,（a weighing scale with a visual-pen-touch liquid color display） and *FA Sensor （a specially designed portable spectrophotometer）. ’FA Station’ is connected with the host computer through VAN, which offers easy and accurate color matching for metallic and pearl shades as well as solid colors. The most highlighted part of the system is ’FA Sensor’. ’FA Sensor’ is a multi-angle colormeter. Color can be measured with three-angle（25° /0° , 45° /0° , 75° /0° ） at one shot. ’Flashing-ring system’ is applied so that high accuracy of the measurement is achieved even at the carved surface of car body.

Degradation of 2,6-dibromophenol (2,6-DBP) in the aqueous solution was studied using dielectric barrier discharge in micro-bubbles. Experimental comparison of working gas Ar, N2, O2, and air showed that oxygen and air plasma efficiently decomposed 2,6-DBP to bromide ion, and inorganic carbon. The molecular orbital model was applied in the analysis of the degradation in electrophilic, nucleophilic, and radical reactions.

The relationship between the severity of dengue infection and allergy is still obscure. We conducted an electronic search across 12 databases for relevant articles reporting allergic symptoms, dengue infection, and dengue classification. These studies were categorized according to dengue severity and allergy symptoms, and a meta-analysis was performed by pooling the studies in each category. Among the included 57 articles, pruritus was the most common allergic sign followed by non-specified allergy and asthma(28.6%, 13%, and 6.5%, respectively). Despite the reported significant association of dengue with pruritus and total Ig E level(P \ 0.05), in comparison with non-dengue cases and healthy controls, there was no association between the different severe dengue group with pruritus, skin allergy, food allergy or asthma. However,removing the largest study revealed a significant association between asthma with dengue hemorrhagic fever(DHF) rather than dengue fever(DF). In comparison with DF, DHF was associated with Ig E positivity. Furthermore, specific-Ig E level was higher in secondary DF rather than primary DF. There was a possible association between allergy symptoms and dengue severity progression. Further studies are needed to clarify this association.

This paper presents an improved classification and mapping of vegetation types for all of Japan by utilizing the Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) data. The Nadir BRDF-Adjusted Reflectance (MCD43A4 product) data were compared to the conventional Surface Reflectance (MOD09A1/MOY09A1 products) data for the classification of vegetation types: evergreen coniferous forest, evergreen broadleaf forest, deciduous coniferous forest, deciduous broadleaf forest, shrubs, herbaceous, arable;and non-vegetation. Very rich spectral and temporal features were prepared from MCD43A4 and MOD09A1/MOY09A1 products. Random Forests classifier was employed for the classification of vegetation types with the support of ground truth data prepared in the research. Accuracy metrics—confusion matrix, overall accuracy, and kappa coefficient calculated through 10-fold cross-validation approach—were used for quantitative comparison of MCD43A4 and MOD09A1/MOY09A1 products. The cross-validation results indicated better performance of the MCD43A4 (Overall accuracy = 0.73;Kappa coefficient = 0.69) product than conventional MOD09A1/MOY09A1 products (Overall accuracy = 0.70;Kappa coefficient = 0.66) for the classification. McNemar’s test was also used to confirm a significant difference (p-value = 0.0003) between MCD43A4 and MOD09A1/MOY09A1 products. Based on these results, by utilizing the MCD43A4 features, a new vegetation map was produced for all of Japan. The newly produced map showed better accuracy than the extant, MODIS Land Cover Type product (MCD12Q1) and Global Land Cover by National Mapping Organizations (GLCNMO) product in Japan.

AIM： To investigate the relationship between ulcerative colitis （UC） clinical activity index （CAI） and circulating levels of IL-1ra, IL-10, IL-6 and IL-18. METHODS： Blood levels of IL-1ra, IL-10, IL-6 and IL-18 were measured in 31 patients with active UC, the mean CAI was 11.1, ranging from 5-25; and 12 healthy individuals as controls. Patients were given granulocyte and monocyte adsorptive apheresis （GMA） with Adacolumn. Leucocytes which bear the FcyR and complement receptors were adsorbed to the column leucocytapheresis carriers. Each patient could receive up to 11 GMA sessions over 8 wk. RESULTS： We found strong correlations between CAI and IL-10 （r = 0.827, P 〈 0.001）, IL-6 （r = 0.785, P 〈 0.001） and IL-18 （r = 0.791, P 〈 0.001）. IL-1ra was not correlated with CAI. Following GMA therapy, 24 of the 31 patients achieved remission and the levels of all 4 cytokines fell to the levels in healthy controls. Further, blood levels of IL-1ra and IL-10 increased at the column outflow and inflow at 60 min suggesting release from leucocytes that adhered to the carriers. CONCLUSION： Elevated blood levels of IL-6 and IL-18 together with peripheral blood granulocytes and monocytes/macrophages in patients with active UC show activative behaviour and increased survival time can be proinflammatory and the targets of GMA therapy.
