Some of environmental factors (weather sharp fluctuations) may accrue stress within a few minutes, while others may not be long for this period of stress in this situation. It has formed stress in organisms, to eliminate the stress, there starts over various biochemical and physiological mechanisms for protection. Therefore, a large variety of plants to examine ways of increasing the resistance against stress factors have a scientific and practical importance. Thus, the primary processes of photosynthesis, based on the results of the study and its corresponding morphophysiological higher photochemical activity, has been found in a range of genotypes. Their leaves and plants assimilate the biological productivity of the intensity of the symptoms associated with the use of photosynthetic learned of the opportunity to create a new perspective varieties. This allows the research to prove the expansion of the electronic delivery of high-yielding genotypes and phosphorised chloroplast high speed, as well as the pH of thylacoid membranes are characterized by a great price, also photosynthetic electron transport, CO2 assimilation and it was approved to be the link between productivity.

利用2015年8月—2016年7月在印度河上游流域Bagrot山谷降水稳定同位素(δ^(18)O和δD)观测结果以及当地气象资料,利用同位素示踪及统计分析方法,并结合HYSPLIT模型,对研究区降水稳定同位素变化特征、大气水线以及水汽来源进行了分析。结果表明:观测期间Bagrot山谷降水稳定同位素的季节变化明显,δ^(18)O与δD秋冬季偏低,春夏季偏高,且与气温变化一致,存在显著的温度效应,而降水量效应不明显。而且发现研究区局地大气水线截距和斜率均低于全球的,反映了降水过程中云下二次蒸发作用较为强烈,因此,不同的降水形态导致该研究区局地大气水线的斜率和截距不同。当液态降水(降雨)发生时,由于在较为干旱的气候环境下,雨滴在降落的过程中受到二次蒸发相对较强,使得局地大气水线的斜率和截距偏低;而当固态降水(降雪)发生时,由于温度较低,受再循环水汽和二次蒸发的影响较小,导致局地大气水线的斜率和截距均偏高。Bagrot山谷及其周边地区,从南到北局地大气水线的斜率相差不大,而其截距总体上随着纬度升高而降低,可能与云下二次蒸发导致稳定同位素发生的不平衡分馏逐渐强烈有关。通过Bagrot山谷站点降水稳定同位素观测结果并结合HYSPLIT模型的后向追踪,研究还发现,研究区全年主要受西风环流以及局地环流的影响。但与研究区以北的临近站点(慕士塔格、和田等)相比有所不同,由于Bagrot山谷位置更靠南,其仍然偶尔受到来自南方的海洋性水汽影响。这一研究结果可能对该地区树轮稳定同位素记录的解译具有一定的指示意义。

Palinopsia as a Rare Presenting Symptom of Occipital Stroke “Case Report”

Palinopsia is the recurrence or persistence of visual images after cessation of the stimulus. Palinopsia has been associated with a wide variety of etiologies and mechanisms such as drug induced, seizures, migraine, psychiatric conditions, head trauma and structural lesions in the brain. We report a case of occipital stroke who presented with oscillating palinopsia. Sudden-onset palinopsia is a very rare symptom of stroke, but it must be recognized early as it is a highly time dependent, and potentially treatable condition. A 57-year-old woman with a history of poorly controlled type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension presented with sudden onset right sided palinopsia with images of her face and right forearm with hand, occurring several times in a day, lasting for a few minutes each time, and appearing in the same location each time. There are few case reports in literature secondary to stroke and what makes it interesting also is that she reported persistence of image even when her eyes are closed. Moreover, the sudden onset is not common in literature. The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the brain showed evidence of left Posterior Cerebral Artery (PCA) territorial (Fusiform gyrus) subacute ischemic infarction. Visual field assessment showed a right homonymous hemianopia. She was treated with aspirin and clopidogrel. The frequency and intensity of palinopsia reduced subsequently. The face image disappeared in the first week while the forearm image disintegrated gradually over the next few weeks. Palinopsia may be a rare presenting symptom of stroke. It is important for the clinician or emergency room doctors to be alert to the possibility of undiagnosed structural neurological lesions like occipital stroke and differentiate it from non-organic causes, as prompt management may reduce the risk of visual or motor disability.

Although the presence of hepatic portal venous gas (HPVG) on computed tomography (CT) is typically an ominous finding, HPVG may sometimes be less catastrophic. The clinical significance of HPVG is variable, and it depends primarily on the underlying pathol ogy. We report a case of a patient with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) who was found to have HPVG on CT as a presumed result of gastrointestinal cryp tosporidiosis, an association that, to our knowledge, has not been reported. This case illustrates another cause of HPVG that should be considered in patients with AIDS.

The last decade has seen a noticeable advance in diagnosing and treating infertility, however, the overall incidence has remained the same, with an estimated 40% - 50% resulting from factors related to the female [1]. Unexplained infertility where the cause remains elusive, still accounts for up to 30% of cases. Increasing evidence demonstrates the significant of antioxidants in all physiological and biochemical processes in humans, including human reproduction.

The aim of this study was to compare the in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles ended by miscarriage with subsequent IVF cycles in relation to various IVF cycle parameters and pregnancy termination modalities. Comparison of pre-miscarriage to post-miscarriage IVF cycles parameters demonstrated that lower peak E2 levels (1087 ± 593 versus 1237 ± 676 pg/ml, respectively;p p p p p p < 0.05), and an increase in the conception rate (34.7% versus 42.2%, respectively) at the second post-miscarriage IVF cycle.

钙钛矿光吸收层的质量对太阳电池的光伏性能有重要的影响.目前,制备甲基铵基碘化铅钙钛矿(MAPbI3)的方法会产生大量缺陷态,特别是在晶界和薄膜表面,这些问题阻碍了钙钛矿太阳电池性能进一步提升.本文介绍了一种采用乙胺盐酸盐(EACl)添加剂制备高质量MAPbI3的特殊方法,发现EACl可以使得钙钛矿晶体不通过中间相形成,并在退火后从钙钛矿中蒸发.此外,该方法还获得了梯度钙钛矿结构,显著提高了钙钛矿薄膜的性能.在最佳EACl用量下,器件的光电转换效率(PCE)达到20.03%.器件在室温老化1000 h后仍能保持原有PCE的89%.这一新方法可以简易制备高质量、缺陷少的钙钛矿薄膜,以生产更加稳定的器件.

In recent decades, the migration rates of the large cities of Punjab have been risen up to a considerable level due to the lack of employment opportunities as well as lack of facilities in the rural areas of the province. It has caused an unprecedented and unplanned urbanization across the urban areas of the province. This study has been undertaken to perform fractal analysis about the sprawl in rapidly growing city. GIS and remote sensing data have been used in this study as an emerging technology which is cost effective as well as accurate at the same time. Landsat images have been taken for the study and the sprawl has been calculated with the analysis of the data of each decade for past more than 40 years. It has been observed that the built up area is 47.8 to 141.12 Sq. Km whereas the pattern of urban settlement has been classified as clustered and linear, following the roads network. The temporal population growth also seconded these results. The population growth rate and population density increase, are based on the pixel based extraction of the data from satellite imagery for the period of 2000 to 2014, which is taken as a decision support tool. In 2000, the population of the district increased from 2,071,694 (1981 census) to 2,939,907 and then in 2013, it became 4,384,191 at a rate to 2.93% upturn per annum. Moreover, the study also reveals the extent of the growth of other land uses as well which may be taken as a reference that in an agricultural country like Pakistan, the natural resources are being wasted (by urbanization of the fertile land). There must be some master planning to avoid such things in the other cities as well.

Primary and secondary antibody responses in blood of teleost fish are mainly IgM mediated, as they lack an IgG homolog and a class switch mechanism. Thus, the major serum immunoglobulin is tetrameric IgM. A unique antibody class in teleosts;named IgT, appears to be specialized for mucosal immunity and is present in low concentrations in serum. A third class;IgD was recently detected in serum of rainbow trout, but is less abundant than IgT. In the present study, relative quantification of total IgM showed that Atlantic salmon (Salmosalar) which had received an oil-adjuvanted commercial vaccine maintained about 2-fold higher levels of IgM;14 and 17 months after intraperitoneal injection, in comparison to unvaccinated fish kept in the same cage. Similar results were obtained by ELISA (serum IgM) and reverse transcription real time PCR (spleen mRNA). Analyses conducted in our lab have shown that several salmonid species possess two slightly different IgM isotypes as a result of ancestral tetraploidy. In Atlantic salmon, two distinct IgM subpopulations (A and B) can be separated by anion exchange chromatography. The IgM-B tetramer exhibits a higher degree of disulfide cross-linking than IgM-A, presumably due to an extra cysteine near the C-terminus of the heavy chain. The typical A/B ratio is approximately 40/60. Anion exchange elution profiles of serum IgM from vaccinated fish indicate that prolonged triggering of the immune system can lead to a skewed ratio of IgM-A/IgM-B. In the context of recent results from rainbow trout (Onchorhynchusmykiss), showing that high affinity antibodies are more highly polymerized and have a longer half life time, Atlantic salmon is an interesting model to elucidate these aspects further since tools are available to distinguish IgM-A and IgM- B in this species.
