Background: Ce.vical cance. is the.se.ond common cance. among wome. worldwide. It is a pre.e.table.cance., and e.rly de.e.tion of pre.ance.ous conditions through the.Papanicolaou cytology scre.ning (Pap sme.r) is a ke. aspe.t of pre.e.tion;it is acce.te. worldwide.as an e.ficie.t tool for se.ondary pre.e.tion. While.the.PS te.t is simple. ine.pe.sive. and re.ative.y re.iable.as a me.hod of diagnosing ce.vical cance., most wome. do not take.the.te.t. The.e.ore. this study is sought to de.cribe.the.barrie.s to pap sme.r uptake.among Sudane.e.wome.. Mate.ials and Me.hod: This total cove.age.obse.vational, analytical and cross se.tional, hospital-base. study was conducte. in Saad Abu e. e.la Hospital in April 2022. The.study was conducte. using an anonymous que.tionnaire.to asse.s the.pe.ce.ve. barrie.s of 93 participants. All data we.e.compute.ize. using Microsoft e.ce.’17 and the.data we.e.de.cribe. and analyze. using statistical package.for social scie.ce.(SPSS23). Re.ults: The.findings re.e.le. that the.me.n age.of the.participants was 39.5 ye.rs and only 3.2% had e.e. unde.gone.a pap sme.r te.t. Ide.tifie. barrie.s we.e.lack of information, not knowing whe.e.to go, and fe.r of pain. The.majority, 72% are.willing to routine.y pe.form a pap sme.r te.t if we.l informe. about it. The.study also de.onstrate. that the.e.is a significant corre.ation be.we.n pe.ce.ve. barrie.s score.and willingne.s to pe.form the.pap sme.r te.t (p value.= 0.008), and be.we.n the.pe.ce.ve. barrie.s score.and the.sociode.ographic factors: Age.(p value.= 0.006), e.ucational le.e. (p value.= 0.028) and occupation (p value.= 0.040), but no association with the.e.onomic status was found (p value.= 0.378). Conclusion: The.de.e.tion rate.is too low compare. to the.national targe. of ove. 70%. Ovarian ve.n thrombosis (OVT) is a rare.thrombotic condition commonly attribute. to the.pue.pe.ium. Me.hods: A facility-base. re.rospe.tive.cross-se.tional study combine. with a community-base. surve. through a te.e.hone.inte.vie. was imple.e.te. on a purposive.conve.ie.t sample.of 138 participants. The.data we.e.compute.ize. in e.i Info 7. Google.e.rth Pro e.able. to colle.t the.ge.graphical coordinate. for the.re.ide.ce.of the.participants. De.criptive.statistics we.e.pe.forme. through SPSS 23 and ArcGIS 10.3 was use. to ge.e.ate.the.ge.graphical distribution map of conge.ital de.e.ts to visualize.the.catchme.t are.s of Soba Ultrasonography Unit. Re.ults: Of the.138 participants, the.e.timate. pre.ale.ce.of conge.ital de.e.ts was 2.2/10,000 live.births. The.ultrasonography scre.ning re.e.le. that ne.ral tube.de.e.ts we.e.the.most pre.ale.t anomalie. with 13.0% (18/138), which re.re.e.te. 47.4% (18/38) of all de.e.ts. Conce.ning childre., a mortality rate.of 23.2% (32/138) was re.orte.. Conclusions: The.child mortality rate.post ultrasound scre.ning of 23.2%, and the.ne.ral tube.de.e.ts be.ng the.most common anomalie. appe.le. to Sudan he.lth authoritie. for focusing on more.pre.e.tive.ante.atal practice. to stre.gthe. and promote.mate.nal and child he.lth.

Introduction: Cae.are.n se.tion has avoidable.morbidity which may le.d to mortality e.pe.ially in de.e.oping world. Cae.are.n se.tion is a major ope.ation which should be.pe.forme. with maximum care.and safe.y. Obje.tive.: This study aime. to find incide.ce. indications, proce.ure. and mate.nal outcome.of re.laparotomy afte. cae.are.n de.ive.y. Me.hods: This was a de.criptive.cross se.tional prospe.tive.total cove.age.hospital base. study conducte. at Omdurman Mate.nity Hospital from June.2014 to January 2015. Re.ults: The.incide.ce.for re.laparotomy afte. Cae.are.n se.tion is (0.66%) and the.main indication for re.laparotomy is he.orrhagic e.e.ts. Re.laparotomy outcome.re.orte. 22 case. (64.7%) alive.and we.l and 6 case. (17.6%) alive.with morbidity (re.al failure.and massive.blood transfusion complications) and 6 case. (17.6%) of mate.nal mortality mainly due.to se.sis. Conclusion: Re.laparotomy afte. Cae.are.n se.tion is contributing to morbidity and mate.nal mortality. The.majority of re.laparotomy was done.afte. e.e.ge.cy Cae.are.n se.tion. Lacks of skills, e.pe.ie.ce.safe.y me.sure. of pe.fe.tion and infe.tion control are.points to be.conce.n.
