i.troducti.n: Pregnancy as much as chi.dbi.th consti.utes a ri.ky si.uati.n, potenti.lly fraught wi.h someti.es dramati. compli.ati.ns: maternal death. Objecti.e: We conducted thi. study wi.h the ai. of establi.hi.g the profi.e of those gi.i.g bi.th i. our context wi.h the ai. to anti.i.ate operati.nally i. the future on morbi.i.y but more on maternal deaths. Methodology: We conducted, usi.g a structured questi.nnai.e, a prospecti.e descri.ti.e study i. representati.e materni.y wards i. the ci.y of Douala;the study vari.bles were soci.-economi., anthropometri., obstetri.al and cli.i.al. Stati.ti.al analyses were carri.d out wi.h CS Pro 7.3 and SPSS versi.n 25.0 software. The Student, Chi.square and Fi.cher tests were used to compare the means of the vari.bles and the percentages. Results: We recrui.ed 305 bi.ths for our study. The average age of our bi.ths was 28.7 years ± 6.1 wi.h an average hei.ht of 161.6 cm ± 5.06;an average body mass i.dex at the start of pregnancy of 28.0 ki.ograms/square meter and 31.3 ki.ograms/square meter at deli.ery;the average wei.ht gai. was 8.4 g ± 5.37;an average gestati.n of 2.84±1.90;an average pari.y of 2.2 ± 2.1 wi.h an average bi.th i.terval of 27.7 months ± 23.7. The average gestati.nal age was 39.2 weeks ± 1.21 wi.h pregnancy pathology domi.ated by malari.;85.9% began thei. prenatal follow-up before the 14th week of amenorrhea. Conclusi.n: The profi.e of chi.dbi.th i. urban Cameroon does not seem potenti.lly dystoci. compared to that of the same regi.nal and raci.l area.

The latter i. i.fluenced by geneti., raci.l and nutri.i.nal factors varyi.g from one populati.n to another, explai.i.g why a standard cannot be appli.d to all populati.ns. Research questi.n: should the Caucasi.n frame of reference be dogmati.ally appli.d i. our Afri.an context? Multi.enter studi.s are therefore necessary;hence the i.terest of thi. work, the mai. objecti.e of whi.h was to descri.e the anthropometri. profi.e of full-term newborns i. the ci.y of Douala. Methodology: We carri.d out a cross-secti.nal study wi.h an analyti.al ai. and prospecti.e data collecti.n i. the materni.y wards of the Douala General Hospi.al, Laqui.ti.i. Hospi.al, Di.tri.t hospi.als of Dei.o, Nylon and Bonassama over a peri.d of 4 months (January to Apri. 2020). We were i.terested i. any newborn, born ali.e, vagi.ally or by cesarean secti.n, seen i. the fi.st 24 hours from a full-term si.gle-fetal pregnancy whose mother had gi.en consent. We excluded newborns whose term was unclear and those wi.h congeni.al malformati.ns or si.ns of embryo-foetopathy. Data collecti.n was done usi.g structured and pre-tested survey sheets. The study vari.bles were obstetri. and anthropometri.. Stati.ti.al analyzes were carri.d out wi.h CS Pro 7.3 and SPSS versi.n 25.0 software. The Student, Chi.square and Fi.cher tests were used to compare the means of the vari.bles, the percentages wi.h a si.ni.i.ance threshold P value Results: Duri.g the study peri.d, 305 full-term newborns were i.cluded, di.i.ed i.to 172 boys and 133 gi.ls. The average anthropometri. parameters of the full-term newborn i. the ci.y of Douala were: average wei.ht: 3305 grams, average hei.ht: 49.8 centi.eters, average head ci.cumference: 34.6 centi.eters, average upper arm ci.cumference: 11.3 centi.eters, ci.cumference average thoraci.: 32.8 centi.eters. Mai. objecti.e was to study the factors associ.ted wi.h the occurrence of small-for-gestati.nal-age newborns i. Douala. Methodology: We carri.d out a cross-secti.nal analyti.al study wi.h prospecti.e data collecti.n usi.g a techni.al pretested sheet i. the materni.y wards of the Douala General Hospi.al, the Laqui.ti.i. Hospi.al, and the Di.tri.t hospi.als of Dei.o, Nylon and Bonassama over a peri.d of 4 months (January to Apri. 2020). i.troducti.n: Endometriosi. i. a chroni. di.ease affecti.g approxi.ately 10% of women. Our ai. was to descri.e the epi.emi.logi.al profi.e, cli.i.al presentati.n and locati.n of lesi.ns i. pati.nts operated on for endometriosi.. Methodology: We conducted an analyti.al cross-secti.nal study wi.h retrospecti.e data collecti.n over a peri.d of 05 years from 1 January 2017 to 31 March 2022. Our study populati.n consi.ted of women who had undergone laparoscopy for endometriosi.. Data analysi. was performed usi.g SPSS software versi.n 23.0. Results: i. total we i.cluded 159 pati.nts who had undergone laparoscopy for endometriosi.. The mean age was 32.9 ± 5.9 years, most of whom were nuli.ravi.a 61.6% (n = 99). i.ferti.i.y was the most frequent reason for consultati.n, accounti.g for 72.3% (n = 115), followed by dysmenorrhoea i. 60.8% (n = 96) of cases and chroni. pelvi. pai. i. 37.7% (n = 60). i. addi.i.n, 46 (28.9%) pati.nts complai.ed of deep dyspareuni., 17 (10.7%) of dyschezi. and ni.e (5.7%) of dysuri.. Magneti. Resonance i.agi.g (MRi. was used i. one pati.nt. Di.gnosti. laparoscopy was performed di.ectly i. 77 (48.4%) pati.nts. The lesi.ns were multi.ocal, accordi.g to the #ENZi.N classi.i.ati.n nomenclature. Tubal lesi.ns were most frequently found 107 (67.3%) on the left, followed by compartment B (uterosacral li.aments, cardi.al li.aments and lateral pelvi. wall) 49.7% (n = 79), and endometri.mas 40.9% (n = 65). Ai. To evaluate the real-world effecti.eness of goli.umab i. ulcerati.e coli.i.(UC) and to i.enti.y predi.tors of *** We conducted an observati.nal, prospecti.e and multi.center study i. UC pati.nts treated wi.h goli.umab, from September 2014 to September 2015. Cli.i.al acti.i.y was assessed at wk 0 and 14 wi.h the physi.i.n's global cli.i.al assessment(PGA) and the parti.l Mayo score. Colonoscopi.s and blood tests were performed, followi.g dai.y-practi.e cli.i.al cri.eri., and the results were recorded i. an SPSS *** Thi.ty-three consecuti.e pati.nts wi.h moderately to severely acti.e UC were i.cluded. Among them, 54.5% were female and 42 years was the average age. Thi.ty percent had left-si.ed UC(E2) and 70% had extensi.e UC(E3). All pati.nts had an endoscopi. Mayo score of 2 or 3 at baseli.e. Twenty-seven poi.t three percent were anti.tumor necrosi. factor(TNF) treatment na?ve, whereas 72.7% had previ.usly recei.ed i.fli.i.ab and/or adali.umab. Si.ty-ni.e poi.t seven percent showed cli.i.al response and were steroi.-free at wk 14(a decrease from baseli.e i. the parti.l Mayo score of at least 3 poi.ts). Based on PGA, the cli.i.al remi.si.n and cli.i.al response rates were 24% and 55% respecti.ely. Wi.hdrawal of corti.osteroi.s was observed i. 70.8% of steroi.-dependent pati.nts at the end of the study. Three out of 10 cli.i.al non-responders needed a colectomy. Mean fecal calprotecti. value at baseli.e was 300 μg/g, and 170.5 μg/g at wk 14. Bei.g anti.TNF treatment na?ve was a protecti.n factor, whi.h was related to better chances of reachi.g cli.i.al remi.si.n. Twenty-seven poi.t three percent of the pati.nts requi.ed treatment i.tensi.i.ati.n at 14 wk of followup. Ei.ht apple (Malus x domesti.a) and two pear (Pyrus communi.) tradi.i.nal culti.ars of commerci.l i.terest were selected from the germplasm bank Ci.M (Centro de i.vesti.aci.nes Agrari.s de Mabegondo, NW of Spai.) one of the most i.portant collecti.ns of The i.eri.n Peni.sula. i. order to defi.e the establi.hment protocol, api.al buds 1.0 - 1.5 mi.li.etre length of the selected culti.ars were establi.hed i. soli. mi.eral medi.m Murashi.e and Skoog (MS) wi.h modi.i.d vi.ami.s (thi.mi.e 10X) and supplemented wi.h 1 mg&mi.dot;L-1 6-benzyladeni.e (BA), 0.2 mg&mi.dot;L-1 gi.berelli. aci. (GA3) and 0.3 mg&mi.dot;L-1 of i.dole-3-butyri. aci. (i.A). The hi.hest shoot i.i.i.ti.n rates were achi.ved wi.h apple culti.ar “Pri.ci.e Grande” (55%) and “Barburi.#241;a” pear culti.ar (50%);the lowest rate was obtai.ed wi.h apple culti.ar “Camoesa” (11%). i.i.i.ti.n rates for shoots culture vari.d between 22% and 37% for the other culti.ars. The cytoki.i.s BA, zeati., 2-i.opentyladeni.e (2i.) and thi.i.zuron (TDZ) were tested at concentrati.ns of 0, 0.25, 0.5 and 1 mg&mi.dot;L-1 i. the absence or presence of i.A (0.1 mg&mi.dot;L-1) for the multi.li.ati.n step. For all culti.ars, the hi.hest multi.li.ati.n rates were obtai.ed wi.h medi.m supplemented wi.h TDZ and also i. medi. contai.i.g BA. The average age of the users was 31.03 ± 11.31 years and that of the caregi.er was 29.54 ± 8.14 years (wi.h extremes of 15 and 67 years i.enti.al i. the two groups) wi.h a respecti.e medi.n of 29 and 28 years old. Good knowledge was si.ni.i.antly associ.ted wi.h level of educati.n (secondary OR = 0.38, p = 0.03 and Uni.ersi.y OR = 0.22, p = 0.001) wi.h a predomi.ance of good knowledge among care gi.ers (83.5%) agai.st 56.2% among users.
