Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) is a nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithm that has gained popularity for solving optimization problems. In GWO, the success of the algorithm heavily relies on the efficient updating of the agents’ positions relative to the leader wolves. In this paper, we provide a brief overview of the Grey Wolf Optimization technique and its significance in solving complex optimization problems. Building upon the foundation of GWO, we introduce a novel technique for updating agents’ positions, which aims to enhance the algorithm’s effectiveness and efficiency. To evaluate the performance of our proposed approach, we conduct comprehensive experiments and compare the results with the original Grey Wolf Optimization technique. Our comparative analysis demonstrates that the proposed technique achieves superior optimization outcomes. These findings underscore the potential of our approach in addressing optimization challenges effectively and efficiently, making it a valuable contribution to the field of optimization algorithms.

A numerical method based on B-spline is developed to solve the time-dependent Emden-Fow- ler-type equations. We also present a reliable new algorithm based on B-spline to overcome the difficulty of the singular point at x = 0. The error analysis of the method is described. Numerical results are given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

The multi-robot systems(MRS)exploration and fire searching problem is an important application of mobile robots which require massive computation capability that exceeds the ability of traditional MRS′*** paper propose a cloud-based hybrid decentralized partially observable semi-Markov decision process(HDec-POSMDPs)*** proposed model is implemented for MRS exploration and fire searching application based on the Internet of things(IoT)cloud robotics *** this implementation the heavy and expensive computational tasks are offloaded to the cloud *** proposed model achieves a significant improvement in the computation burden of the whole task relative to a traditional *** proposed model is applied to explore and search for fire objects in an unknown environment;using different sets of robots *** preliminary evaluation of this implementation demonstrates that as the parallelism of computational instances increase the delay of new actuation commands which will be decreased,the mean time of task completion is decreased,the number of turns in the path from the start pose cells to the target cells is minimized and the energy consumption for each robot is reduced.

Prophylactic effect of vitamin E against hepatotoxicity,nephrotoxicity,haematological indices and histopathology induced by diazinon insecticide in mice

Considering that the involvement of reactive oxygen species （ROS） has been implicated in the toxicity of various pesticides, this study was designed to study the ameliorative effect of Vitamin E （100 mg/kg body weight） on mice （25 -30 mg） treated with diazinon （32.5 or 16.25 mg/kg body weight） organophosphate insecticide for 14 days. Subehronic DZN exposure and the protective effects of vitamins E （vitE） were evaluated for their effects on haematological indices, the enzymes concerning liver damage [plasma alanine aminotransferase （ ALT）, aspartate aminotaransferase （ AST）, alkaline phosphatise （ ALP）, and some parameters of kidney function （urea and creatinine） in mice. Additionally, the histopathological changes in liver and kidney tissue were examined. The high dose of diazinon （DZNH） decreased the body weight significantly at the end of experiment. Additionally, the liver and kidney were examines for histopathological changes. The high dose of diazinon decreased body weight significandy. Moreover, there was a statistically significant decrease in haemoglobin （Hb）, red blood cell （RBC） and hematocrit （Hct） in diazinon-treated mice compared to controls. This decrease was partially remedied in the diazinon-treated group that also received vitE. Damage in the liver and kidney tissues was also evident as elevated plasma ALT, AST, ALP, urea and creatinine. VitE partially counteracts the toxic effect of DZN and repairs tissue damage in the liver and kidney, especially when supplemented to 1/4 LD50 intoxicated animals. Histopathological changes in liver and kidney were observed only in 32.5 mg/kg DZN given group. These results suggest that the effects of DZN are dose dependent. No pathological findings were observed in vitE ＋ DZNtreated groups. According to the present study, we conclude that vitE ean reduce the detrimental impacts of diazinon on haematological indicies, as well as liver and kidney function [ Current Zoology 55 （3）： 219 - 226, 2009].

Piezoelectricity is pivotal for applications in micro/nanoelectromechanical systems(MEMS/NEMS).Inducing such a property in 2D systems via the reduction of the dimensionality of their corresponding 3D bulk is here *** on DFT theory and Gaussian-type-localized basis sets,the structural,electronic,mechanical,and piezoelectric properties of both 3D and 2D rare earth monochalcogenides RmX(Rm=Tm,Yb,Lu,and X=S,Se,Te)are investigated using the CRYSTAL *** intriguingly,the 2D LuX compounds display a buckled structure,where the Lu and X atoms protrude from the monolayer surface leading to an additional out-of-plane piezoelectric effect;(e_(31)=2104.84,1770.28,1689.79 pC/m,and d31=56.37,49.76,and 147.90 pm/V for LuS,LuSe,and LuTe,respectively).Such piezoelectric response is two orders of magnitude larger than the one of recently reported 2D ferroelectric MXenes,and is nearly thirty times larger than the commonly used AlN and GaN bulk ***,the reduced elastic constants obtained,when compared to other 2D materials,confirm the flexibility and softness of the considered 2D systems.

The main task of this article was to prepared of new pigment model in situ solar cells accordance to charge-transfer complexes of rhodamine C(RhC) donor as dye laser gain media with iodine(σ-acceptor) and chloranilic acid, CLA(π-acceptor). The synthesis stoichiometry of these complexes were of 1∶2(donor∶acceptor) with general formulas [(RhC)]I·I3 and [(RhC)(CLA)2]. The discussed data of elemental analysis, conductivity measurements, FT-IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy and photometric titration data visualized the stoichiometry, formula and complexity of the complexes. The physicochemical and spectroscopic analyses obtained suggested that the electron transfer occurred through nitrogen atom in a tertiary amine —N(C2H5)2 of RhC donor with acceptor. The synthesized solid complexes were under go to thermogravimetric analyses to investigate their thermal stability and decomposition steps. The molar conductance measurements revealed that RhC complexes have an electrolytic statement. The thermal stability of rhodamine C complexes was enhanced in comparable with RhC itself. The polymer membranes of poly-methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) combined with the RhC charge(transfer complexes in chloroform solvent have been prepared and characterized by(infrared & electronic) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) morphological examination. The photo-stability properties of the RhC complexes have been investigated.

Melatonin and schistosomal antigens ameliorate the anti-oxidative and biochemical response to Schistosoma mansoni infection in hamster

The present study was designed to investigate the potential protective effect of melatonin as an antioxidant separately or in combination with antigens （cerearial; CAP or soluble worm; SWAP） against Schistosoma mansoni infection in hamsters. Each hamster was sensitized with an initial immunization of 0.6 ml of the extracted antigen （30μg protein/mL）. After four days, a second injection of 0.4 mL was given （20μg protein/mL）. Then, each hamster was exposed to 260 ± 20 S. mansoni cercariae followed with melatonin treatment （3.5 mg/kg） for thirty days from the 1st day of post infection. Levels of lipid peroxidation （LPO） products, eatalase （CAT） activity, hepatic glutathione （GSH） and biochemical changes in the liver and kidneys functions were investigated. The results revealed a high significant increasing of LPO and decreasing of CAT and GSH in liver of infected hamsters. Biochemical observations showed severe damage in the liver enzyme activities and increasing cholesterol level in infected animals. Melatonin co-treatment with antigen to the infeeted-hamster attenuated the increase of LPO and restored the activity of CAT and levels of hepatic GSH. Also, the biochemical damages in the liver and kidneys funetions were reduced. The present study suggests that melatonin may be useful in combating free radical-induced damage due to infection toxicity. The immunization with previous antigens resulted in a remarkable improvement on the liver enzyme activities, which were increased after infection. Thus, vaccination of hamsters with antigens （both CAP and SWAP） and melatonin treatment has more potent effect on the enhancement of antioxidant and biochemical of S. mansoni infected-hamster than each treatment separately. Immunization of the hamster with SWAP followed by melatonin was the best way among the other regime treatments to improve the biochemical and antioxidant parameters of the infected-hamsters.

在常压定容室内,应用ND:YAG激光阴影法、高分辨率CCD照相机和粒径分析软件,对不同含水量的柴油乳化液雾油滴的闪急沸腾与微爆现象以及油滴粒径分布进行了试验测量与变参数对比分析,探讨了在130℃温度条件下,乳化油含水量对乳化油喷雾液滴闪急沸腾和微爆的影响,揭示了微爆效应在喷雾雾化和液滴碎化中的作用机理。试验结果表明,包覆于油中的水相颗粒受热闪急沸腾所形成的高压蒸气团冲破无水边界层是导致油滴发生微爆和进一步破碎分裂的首要原因;微爆现象随乳化油含水量的增高而趋强;喷雾索特平均直径(SMD)的细化率随乳化油含水量和喷雾贯穿距的增加而增大,且乳化油含水量对喷雾SMD细化率的影响程度也随喷雾贯穿距的增加更加显著。

To attain an enhanced combination of mechanical properties for low alloyed steel, the current study has been made to fulfill that growing need in the industry. Its results are introduced within this paper. One step Quenching and Partitioning (Q&P) heat treatment has been applied on Niobium-based microalloyed steel alloy with 0.2 %C, in the form of 2 mm thickness sheets. The target of this study is to investigate the viability of applying that significantly recommended, results-wise, heat treatment on the highly well-suited alloy steel samples, to achieve the main target of enhanced properties. A single temperature of 275°C was used as quenching and Partitioning temperature. Four Partitioning periods (30, 200, 500, and 1000 Seconds) were used for soaking at the same temperature. The results were analyzed in the light of microstructural investigation and mechanical testing. All applied cycles did not enhance the strength but moderately improved the ductility and toughness, mainly caused by the slightly high soaking temperature used. Niobium impact of grain refining was apparent through all cycles. The cycle of 500 Seconds Partitioning time obtained optimum values at that particular temperature. The 1000 Seconds Cycle obtained the worst combination of properties. A set of recommendations are set. More research is required at this point, where a lower Partitioning temperature is advised. In the light of the applied combination of parameters, the Partitioning period at such temperature is advised to be between 500 and 1000 Seconds. A high probability that periods closer to 500 than 1000 Seconds will produce better results. More research is needed between those two values of Partitioning time to precisely determine the optimum time at that temperature on that specific alloy.

Spheroidal graphite cast iron GGG 40 was thermo-mechanically tested using thermo-mechanical simulator Gleeble-3500. Three deformation steps were successively applied on test-specimen at temperatures namely;900°C, 850°C and 750°C within the austenitic zone, at the same strain rate of 0.1 s-1. No cracks were observed, up to 50% deformation, after successive deformation steps. Stress-strain relationship obtained is correlated with previous work on SGCI with a different carbon equivalent. It was found that by decreasing the deformation temperature;for the same CE, young’s modulus, yield strength and strain hardening exponent increase. Microstructure of the deformed zone, for a specimen quenched after the final deformation step, reveals fine elongated ferrite and pearlite, as well as elongated graphite. While microstructure of the non-deformed zone subjected to the same treatment, includes coarser ferrite and pearlite with graphite spheres embedded in the matrix.
