自玛丽·雪莱的《弗兰肯斯坦》付梓以来,其经典化的道路并不像许多传统解读所评论的那样,是一部一经出版便大获成功、一直流行至今的作品。在这个历史悠久的阅读意图谬误背后,暗藏的是对19世纪英国的阅读伦理、出版体制和作家创作心态的明显忽视或误读。本文首先从19世纪英国作为"阅读之邦"的事实出发,指出当时的阅读伦理对小说发展和女作家地位的影响,进而揭示出版体制、作者对作品问世和跻身文坛所持的态度,对《弗兰肯斯坦》在流行发展之路上的意义和经典化道路上的影响。

Changes in sediment transport in the Kuye River in the Loess Plateau in China

＜正＞ In the evaluation of an asphalt binder for use in a hot-mix asphalt, it is important that the properties of the asphalt binder after aging in the hot-mixing process be determined. At present, two standard methods are used to simulate the effects of hot-mixing on asphalt hinders in the U.S. These two standard methods are （1） the Thin Film Oven Test （TFOT） [ASTM d1754], and （2） the Rolling Thin Film Oven Test （RTFOT） [ASTM d2872]. These standard procedures have been successfully used on conventional asphalts for many years. However, recent studies by the University of Florida and other researchers in the country have shown that problems were encountered when these procedures were used on some modified asphalts. It was found that asphalts modified with crumb rubber （CR） and SBR tended to spill out from the RTFOT bottles during the RTFOT process. When the TFOT was used, a thin skin tended to form on the surface of some modified asphalt samples, which reduced the homogeneity of the aging of the samples. There is a need to develop a suitable laboratory aging procedure to replace the TFOT and the RTFOT, so that the aging characteristics of modified asphalts could be properly determined.

In this paper,the changes in sediment transport over 51 years from 1955 to 2006 in the Kuye River in the Loess Plateau in China are assessed. Key factors affecting sediment yield and sediment transport,such as precipitation depth,discharge,and human activities are studied. To investigate the changes in sediment yield in this watershed,a trend analysis on sediment concentration,precipitation depth,and discharge is conducted. Precipitation depths at 2 Climate Stations(CSs) ,as well as discharge and sediment transport at 3 Gauging Stations(GSs) are used to assess the features of sediment transport in the Kuye River. The runoff modulus(defined as the annual average discharge per unit area,L/(***2) ) and the sediment transport modulus(defined as the annual suspended sediment transport per unit area,t/(yr km2) ) are introduced in this study to assess the changes in runoff and sediment yield for this watershed. The results show that the highest average monthly discharge during the study period in the Kuye River is 66.23 m3/s in August with an average monthly sediment concentration of 88.9 kg/m3. However,the highest average monthly sediment concentration during the study period in the Kuye River is 125.34 kg/m3 and occurs in July,which has an average discharge of 42.6 m3/s that is much less than the average monthly discharge in August. It is found that both the runoff modulus and sediment transport modulus at Wenjiachuan GS on the Kuye River has a clear downward trend. during the summer season from July to August,the sediment transport modulus at Wenjiachuan GS is much higher than those at Toudaoguai and Longmen GSs on the Yellow River. The easily erodible loess in the Kuye River watershed and the sparse vegetation are responsible for the extremely high sediment yield from the Kuye River watershed. The analyses of the grain size distribution of suspended load in the Kuye River are presented. The average monthly median grain size of suspended load in the Kuye River is large

A mathematical model of the human cardiovascu lar system in conjunction with an accurate lumped model for a stenosis can provide better insights into the pressure wave propagation at pathological conditions. In this study, a the oretical relation between pressure drop and flow rate based on Lorentz＇s reciprocal theorem is derived, which offers an identity to describe the relevance of the geometry and the convective momentum transport to the drag force. A voxel based simulator VFLOW VOF3d, where the vessel geome try is expressed by using volume of fluid （VOF） functions, is employed to find the flow distribution in an idealized steno sis vessel and the identity was validated numerically. It is revealed from the correlation flow in a stenosis vessel can that the pressure drop of NS be decomposed into a linear term caused by Stokes flow with the same boundary condi tions, and two nonlinear terms. Furthermore, the linear term for the pressure drop of Stokes flow can be summarized as a correlation by using a modified equation of lubrication the ory, which gives favorable results compared to the numerical ones. The contribution of the nonlinear terms to the pressure drop was analyzed numerically, and it is found that geomet ric shape and momentum transport are the primary factors for the enhancement of drag force. This work paves a way to simulate the blood flow and pressure propagation under dif ferent stenosis conditions by using 1d mathematical model.

关于“中国古代因何无版权”研究的几点反思

A quadratic programming model is established to choose the blocks to be blasted in a given period. The length of this period depends on the production planning requirements. during the given period, the blocks' parameters are available from the geological database of the mine. The objective is to minimize the deviation of the average ore grade of blasted blocks from the standard ore grade required by the mill. Transportation ability constraint. production quantity demand constraint. minimum safety bench constraint. block size constraint and block, bench precedence constraints are considered in forming the programming model. This model has more practical objective function and reasonable constraints compared with the existing model for this kind of problems.
