Hypoxia is a typical feature of the tumor microenvironment,one of the most critical factors affecting cell behavior and tumor ***,the lack of tumor models able to precisely emulate natural brain tumor tissue has impeded the study of the effects of hypoxia on the progression and growth of tumor *** study reports a three-dimensional(3d)brain tumor model obtained by encapsulating U87MG(U87)cells in a hydrogel containing type I *** also documents the effect of various oxygen concentrations(1%,7%,and 21%)in the culture environment on U87 cell morphology,proliferation,viability,cell cycle,apoptosis rate,and ***,it compares two-dimensional(2d)and 3d *** comparison purposes,cells cultured in flat culture dishes were used as the control(2d model).Cells cultured in the 3d model proliferated more slowly but had a higher apoptosis rate and proportion of cells in the resting phase(G0 phase)/gap I phase(G1 phase)than those cultured in the 2d ***,the two models yielded significantly different cell ***,hypoxia(e.g.,1%O2)affected cell morphology,slowed cell growth,reduced cell viability,and increased the apoptosis rate in the 3d *** results indicate that the constructed 3d model is effective for investigating the effects of biological and chemical factors on cell morphology and function,and can be more representative of the tumor microenvironment than 2d culture *** developed 3d glioblastoma tumor model is equally applicable to other studies in pharmacology and pathology.

Understanding the catalysis of chromium trioxide added magnesium hydride for hydrogen storage and Li ion battery applications

This study explores how the chemical interaction between magnesium hydride(MgH_(2))and the additive CrO_(3) influences the hydrogen/lithium storage characteristics of MgH_(2).We have observed that a 5 wt.%CrO_(3) additive reduces the dehydrogenation activation energy of MgH_(2) by 68 kJ/mol and lowers the required dehydrogenation temperature by 80℃.CrO_(3) added MgH_(2) was also tested as an anode in an Li ion battery,and it is possible to deliver over 90%of the total theoretical capacity(2038 mAh/g).Evidence for improved reversibility in the battery reaction is found only after the incorporation of additives with MgH_(2).In depth characterization study by X-ray diffraction(XRd)technique provides convincing evidence that the CrO_(3) additive interacts with MgH_(2) and produces Cr/MgO *** free energy analyses confirm the thermodynamic feasibility of conversion from MgH_(2)/CrO_(3) to MgO/Cr,which is well supported by the identification of Cr(0)in the powder by X ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)*** high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EdS)we found evidence for the presence of 5 nm size Cr nanocrystals on the surface of MgO rock salt *** is also convincing ground to consider that MgO rock salt accommodates Cr in the *** observations support the argument that creation of active metal–metal dissolved rock salt oxide interface may be vital for improving the reactivity of MgH_(2),both for the improved storage of hydrogen and lithium.

Oxygen(O_(2))-sensing matrices are promising tools for the live monitoring of extracellular O_(2) consumption levels in long-term cell *** this study,ratiometric O_(2)-sensing membranes were prepared by electrospinning,an easy,low-cost,scalable,and robust method for fabricating ***(ε-caprolactone)and poly(dimethyl)siloxane polymers were blended with tris(4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline)ruthenium(II)dichloride,which was used as the O_(2)-sensing probe,and rhodamine B isothiocyanate,which was used as the reference *** functionalized scaffolds were morphologically characterized by scanning electron microscopy,and their physicochemical profiles were obtained by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysis,and water contact angle *** sensing capabilities were investigated by confocal laser scanning microscopy,performing photobleaching,reversibility,and calibration curve studies toward different dissolved O_(2)(dO)*** sensing nanofibers showed a high response to changes in dO concentrations in the physiological-pathological range from 0.5%to 20%and good stability under ratiometric *** addition,the sensing systems were highly biocompatible for cell growth promoting adhesiveness and growth of three cancer cell lines,namely metastatic melanoma cell line SK-MEL2,breast cancer cell line MCF-7,and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cell line Panc-1,thus recreating a suitable biological environment in *** O_(2)-sensing biomaterials can potentially measure alterations in cell metabolism caused by changes in ambient O_(2)content during drug testing/validation and tissue regeneration processes.

deformed integrable models from holomorphic Chern-Simons theory

We study the approaches to two-dimensional integrable field theories via a six-dimensional(6 d) holomorphic Chern-Simons theory defined on twistor space. Under symmetry reduction, it reduces to a 4 d Chern-Simons theory, while under solving along fibres it leads to a four-dimensional(4 d) integrable theory, the anti-self-dual Yang-Mills or its generalizations. From both 4 d theories, various two-dimensional integrable field theories can be obtained. In this work, we try to investigate several twodimensional integrable deformations in this framework. We find that the λ-deformation, the rational η-deformation, and the generalized λ-deformation can not be realized from the 4 d integrable model approach, even though they could be obtained from the 4 d Chern-Simons theory. The obstacle stems from the incompatibility between the symmetry reduction and the boundary conditions. Nevertheless, we show that a coupled theory of the λ-deformation and the η-deformation in the trigonometric description could be obtained from the 6 d theory in both ways, by considering the case that(3, 0)-form in the 6 d theory is allowed to have zeros.

本试验旨在通过体外三步法探究不同挤压膨化工艺对豆粕瘤胃发酵和小肠消化的影响。采用单因素随机试验设计,分别制备豆粕[对照组(CON组)]、挤压膨化豆粕(E组)、膨化前添加3%大豆毛油豆粕(AO组)、膨化后添加3%大豆毛油豆粕(CO组)、膨化前后均添加3%大豆毛油豆粕(AO-CO组)、膨化前添加4%葡萄糖豆粕(GE组)、膨化前添加4%葡萄糖和3%大豆毛油豆粕(GAO组)、膨化前添加4%葡萄糖和膨化后添加3%大豆毛油豆粕(GCO组)和膨化前加4%葡萄糖和膨化前后均添加3%大豆毛油豆粕(GAO-CO组),共9组样品。通过测定挤出物性质(色差、褐变程度以及纤维和蛋白质组成),探究挤压膨化工艺对豆粕蛋白质美拉德反应程度的影响。进一步选用3头体重600 kg装有永久性瘤胃瘘管的安格斯阉牛,采用体外三步法(瘤胃液-胃蛋白酶-胰蛋白酶)测定挤压膨化后豆粕瘤胃降解特性和瘤胃不可降解蛋白质(RUP)的体外小肠消化率。结果表明:1)挤压膨化后的色差结果显示,各试验组红度(a*)、黄度(b*)、色差(ΔE)和420 nm吸光度(Od)值相较于CON组显著提高(Pd值显著低于只添加1种反应物的AO组和GE组(PdF)和中性洗涤不溶粗蛋白质(NdICP)含量相较于CON组和其他试验组显著提高(PdM)和粗蛋白质(CP)的过瘤胃率、体外小肠消化率、体外全消化道消化率以及RUP和小肠可消化粗蛋白质(IdCP)含量显著提高(PdM和CP的过瘤胃率以及RUP和IdCP含量(E组除外)显著高于其他试验组(P0.05),但改变了瘤胃液的挥发性脂肪酸组成,其中各试验组瘤胃液中异丁酸、异戊酸和总支链挥发性脂肪酸(TBCVFA)含量显著低于CON组(P<0.05)。综上所述,添加葡萄糖能够提高挤压膨化过程中美拉德反应的程度,促进豆粕优质蛋白质的过瘤胃而转向小肠消化吸收,但添加富含不饱和脂肪酸的大豆毛油会抑制挤压膨化过程中的美拉德反应。因此,推荐挤压膨化过程中添加葡萄糖来提高膨化效果,且不建议添加富含不饱和脂肪酸的大豆毛油。

Clostridium perfringens gas gangrene caused by closed abdominal injury: A case report and review of the literature

BACKGROUNd Abdominal Clostridium perfringens(C. perfringens) gas gangrene is a rare infection that has been described in the literature as most frequently occurring in postoperative patients with open trauma. Intra-abdominal gas gangrene caused by *** infection after closed abdominal injury is extremely rare, difficult to diagnose, and progresses rapidly with high mortality risk. here, we report a case of C. perfringens infection caused by closed abdominal *** SUMMARY A 54-year-old male suffered multiple intestinal tears and necrosis after sustaining an injury caused by falling from a high height. These injuries and the subsequent necrosis resulted in intra-abdominal C. perfringens infection. In the first operation,we removed the necrotic intestinal segment, kept the abdomen open and covered the intestine with a Bogota bag. A vacuum sealing drainage system was used to cover the outer layer of the Bogota bag, and the drainage was flushed under negative pressure. The patient was transferred to the intensive care unit for supportive care and empirical antibiotic treatment. The antibiotics were not changed until the results of bacterial culture and drug susceptibility testing were *** consecutive operations were then performed due to secondary intestinal necrosis. After three definitive operations, the patient successfully survived the perioperative period. Unfortunately, he died of complications related to GuillainBarre syndrome 75 d after the first surgery. Temporal geographic information system(t_GIS) is a kind of computer information system that can display,process and analyze the micro_format distribution of temporal_spatial information of real *** includes both spatial geographic information and temporal information,and can analyze both the static geographic information and the dynamic geographic information. Three models based on t_GIS for environment dynamics,namely,the mechanism method,the experience method and the mixed method are given. t_GIS based on the environment dynamic model has more new functions than traditional GIS,such as fast I/O,inquiry,static/dynamic display and visible analysis of spatial and temporal sequence information,especially it can display the image of the evolution in the past,current and future environment through the extrapolation method within its defining *** velocity for analogue display can be accelerated by setting up time_varying_area_function for position and attribute. dynamic environmental information analysis systems based on t_GIS are applicable to almost all the fields related to management,display and analysis of local environmental dynamic *** this reason,some considerations to construct distinct information systems have been enumerated in this paper,such as,the analysis information system for terrain evolution,the analysis information system for the condition of water and fertilizer of farmland,analysis and the evaluation information system for ecological environment,and the analysis information system for distribution changes of population of China,etc.

displacement of Building Cluster Using Field Analysis Method

This paper presents a field based method to deal with the displacement of building cluster, which is driven by the street widening. The compress of street boundary results in the force to push the building moving inside and the force propagation is a decay process. To describe the phenomenon above, the field theory is introduced with the representation model of isoline. On the basis of the skeleton of delaunay triangulation, the displacement field is built in which the propagation force is related to the adjacency degree with respect to the street boundary. The study offers the computation of displacement direction and offset distance for the building displacement. The vector operation is performed on the basis of grade and other field concepts.
