Anodic oxidation of Co, Cu, Zn, and sn metals in an acetone solution of 1,1-malonayl-bis(4-p- Chlorophenylthiosemicarbazide) yields complexes of composition with general formula [Co2(pClMaTs)(h2O)6]·2h2O, [Cu2(pClMaTs)(h2O)6], [Zn2(pClMaTs)(h2O)6] and [sn2(pClMaTs)(h2O)6]·2h2O. Chelation was investigated based on elemental analysis, conductivity, magnetic moment, spectral (UV-Vis, IR, Raman, 1hNMR, mass), thermal, and EsR studies. The Raman and infrared spectral studies suggests the tridentate behavior of the ligand from each tail. since the ligand has two thiose- micarbazide groups, it may acts in an sNO tridentate fashion from each side with one of the two metal ions forming a polynuclear complex coordinating through both of the lone pair of electrons the enolic oxygen of the carbonyl group (C=O), the azomethine nitrogen (C=N) and the thioenol form of the thiocarbonyl group (C=s). The differential thermogravimetric analysis (DTG) curves were used to study the decomposition steps of the isolated complexes using horowitz-Metzger (hM) and Coats-Redfern (CR) methods. The kinetic thermodynamic parameters such as: E*, Δh*, Δs*and ΔG* are calculated from the DTG curves.

since 2015, Côte d’Ivoire has been the world’s largest cashew producer. however, cashew orchards in Côte d’Ivoire are infected by fungal diseases that weaken production. And the contribution of weeds to the spread of these diseases is not yet understood. This study was initiated with the aim of establishing the role of weeds in the proliferation of pathogenic fungi in orchards. It consisted of a survey of weeds showing disease symptoms in cashew orchards in Côte d’Ivoire from February 2021 to July 2022. The itinerant method was used for the weed inventory. symptomatic leaves were collected and sent to the laboratory for diagnosis on PDA (Potatoes Dextrose Agar) medium. In total, 50 species in 46 genera and 23 families were recorded. Laboratory diagnosis of the samples showed that 80% of the weeds identified harboured pathogenic fungi. The highest infection rates were obtained on Danielia oliveri R. (99.33% to 100%), Vitellaria paradoxa G. (100%), Pterocarpus erinaceus P. (83.91% to 99.33%), Micuna pruriens L. (98.33% to 100%) and Isoberlinia doka C. et s. (56.33% to 100%). The diagnosis revealed the presence of Lasiodiplodia sp, Colletotrichum sp, Pestalotia sp, Alternaria sp and Curvularia sp on weeds in the cashew orchard in Côte d’Ivoire.

Background: During pregnancy a small number of fetal RBCs (Red Blood Cells) enter maternal blood without risk, and incidence of significant feto-maternal hemorrhage (FMh) and isoimmunization depends on how much fetal blood enters maternal circulation;the use of flow cytometer (FCM) in FMh detection is considered the best laboratory technique. Aims: To evaluate role of FCM in FMh estimation to optimize delivery protocols and decrease isoimmunization. subject and Method: 100 pregnant women at labor were included, equally classified into early cord clamping (ECC) and delayed cord clamping (DCC) groups, each including 25 women delivered vaginally and 25 with caesarian section;the control groups included 20 non-pregnant females, 20 at 3rd trimester and 20 neonates. Fetal RBCs were done on Becton Dickinson (B.D) FCM, and the reagents used were 5-Glutaraldehyde 0.5% sigma cat. G5882, flouroscine isothiocyanite (FITC) anti-hemoglobin F (hb-F) cat. 555748, anti-carbonic anhydrase, Triton-X100 solution and Alsever’s solution cat. hFh-11, 0.1% phosphate buffer saline/bovine serum albumin (PBs/BsA). statistical Analysis: Mann Whitney’s U-test, Chi-squared, Fischer’s Exact tests, and sPss for windows version 15.0. Results: There was a significant increase in the volume of the FMh in the ECC compared to DCC groups (p so in the vaginal delivery comparing to caesarian section subgroups within the DCC group (p he ECC compared to DCC within caesarian section subgroup (p sion: Fetal RBCs estimation by FCM is good;perinatal laboratory test should be done in routine investigations, as a guide for obstetric techniques that can alter FMh volume and decrease subsequent isoimmunization.

The effect of Zn2+ ions on the microstructure and electrical properties of Mn1-xZnxFe2O4 (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.5 in steps of 0.1) through a solid state reaction has been investigated. The structural properties have been investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. The XRD analysis confirms that all samples are in a single-phase cubic spinel structure. The experimental lattice parameter (aexp) was decreased with increasing Zn2+ ions substitution due to the smaller ionic radius of zinc content. The crystallite size (t) of samples was estimated by scherrer’s formula and found in the range (90 - 115 nm). Dc electrical resistivity and seebeck voltage coefficients were measured as a function of temperature using the two probe methods. The temperature variation of resistivity exhibits two breaks, each break referring to a change in the activation energy. The Curie temperature estimated from dc resistivity measurement decreases with increasing Zn2+ ions. seebeck voltage coefficient measurements reveal n-type conduction for all samples.

The importance of sleep has been described in proverbs such as “the early bird catches the worm”. however, there are few scientific reports on the effects of early rising. Therefore, early risers (Group E) and late risers (Group L) were compared and the number and ratio of leukocytes, body temperature, glucose and its associated hormones were studied. Furthermore, each group was divided into two groups by the duration of sleep and the following four groups were compared: early risers with short sleep (Group E-s);early risers with long sleep (Group E-L);late risers with short sleep (Group L-s);and late risers with long sleep (Group L-L). Then, compared with Group L, Group E showed lower numbers and ratio of granulocytes and a higher ratio of lymphocytes showing parasympathetic nerve dominance. Group E showed higher levels of glucose and its related hormones than Group L, indicating sympathetic nerve dominance. Compared with Groups E-s and L-s, Groups E-L and L-L showed lower glucose and cortisol levels, respectively. These results indicated that early rising might affect leukocyte subsets, and adequate duration of sleep could decrease levels of glucose via modification of the autonomic nervous system.

Relationship between serum hyaluronic Acid Level and Patient Prognosis in hepatocellular Carcinoma Patients Who Underwent hepatectomy

We examined the relationship between hyaluronic acid (hA) and tumor-related factors after hepatectomy in 158 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (hCC) who underwent hepatectomy. We examined serum hA levels before hepatectomy by evaluating data for clinicopathological parameters, surgical records, postoperative complications and survival. The mean hA level was 190 ± 202 ng/ml. Patients were divided into 3 groups: group A had serum hA levels less than 50 ng/ml (normal range), group B had levels between 50 and 190 ng/ml, and group C had levels over 190 ng/ml. Group C had a higher rate of poor liver function compared to others. Multiple tumors were significantly more frequent in groups B and C compared to A. The grade of fibrosis and the inflammatory responses were positively correlated with the serum hA level. Postoperative long-term ascites was significantly more frequent in group C compared to others. Although the recurrence rate and the relapse-free period were not significantly related to the serum hA level, the serum hA level was significantly associated with overall survival after hepatectomy (p 0.05). Cox’s multivariate analysis did not show a significant relationship between hA level and survival. serum hA reflects progression and survival in hCC patients.

hydroxy apatite (hA) is a biocompatible material used as bone-substitute materials in both orthopedics and dentistry due to its excellent osteo-conductive and chemical composition similar to that of the inorganic part of bone in comparison with other implant materials . hA (s1) and Cr loaded hydroxy apatite (s2, s3, s4 and s5) of different chromium concentrations have been prepared. many techniques used to analyze the changes occurred due to the substitution. The XRD (X-ray diffraction) and FTIR (Fourier transform infrared radiation )spectroscopy were used as analytical techniques for the prepared hA and Cr loaded hA. The effect of the heat treatment on structural change of the samples was examined by DTA. It was found that all the samples have the same crystalline structure. The crystallinity of the samples decreased as the chromium ions concentration increase.

hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(Oh)2) is widely used as bio-ceramic materials and as adsorbents for separation of bio-molecules. These materials have also been used as adsorbents for heavy metals, supports and as catalysts in oxidation and dehydrogenation reactions. The catalytic performance of these materials depend on the lattice substitution of Ca sites in hydroxyapatite structure by varied cations as Na, Mg, sr and Mn, which result in changes in various structural pro perties as crystallinity and morphology. Pure calcium hydroxyapatite (s1) and Cr loaded hydroxyl apatite (s2, s3, s4 and s5) of different chromium concentrations have been prepared by wet precipitated method. An in-vitro examination is essential to investigate the mechanism of the deficient hA and tissue interface reaction by preparing sBF (simulated Body Fluid) through the elemental and chemical analysis of Ca, P and Cr. FTIR used to analyze the samples after incubation in sBF for 24 day. Ph of the samples also was measured at the first period of immersion time. At high loading of chromium ions, the formation of carbonate apatite decrease. The concentrations of the chromium in the Cr_hA crystal during the soaking in sBF are very safe dose for human.

Egypt faces a high population growth rate nowadays, which demands for an increase in agricultural production efficiency. Consequently, agricultural field residues will increase. Rice straw is one of the main agriculture residues in Egypt. so this study was performed on rice straw as a resource for production of bioethanol. Eight microbial isolates, five yeasts and three fungi were isolated from rice straw. Yeast isolates were selected for their ability to utilize different sugars and cellulose. Chipped and grinded rice straw was subjected to different pretreatment methods physically through steam treatment by autoclaving and different doses of gamma γ irradiation (50 and 70 Mrad). Autoclaved pretreated rice straw was further enzymatically treated throughout solid state fermentation process by different fungal isolates;F68, F94 and F98 producing maximum total reducing sugars of 12.62, 13.58, 17.00 g/L, respectively. Bioethanol production by separate microbial hydrolysis and fermentation (shF) process of rice straw hydrolysate was performed by the two selected fungal isolates;Trichoderma viride F94 and Aspergillus terreus F98 and two yeast isolates (Y26 and Y39). The two yeast isolates have been identified by 18s, RNA as Candida tropicalis Y26 and saccharomyces cerevisiae Y39. shF processes by F94 and Y26 produced 45 gallon/ton rice straw while that of F98 and Y39 produced 50 gallon/ton rice straw.
