In this paper,a deterministic and stochastic fractional order model for lesser date moth(LDm)using mating disruption and natural enemies is proposed and analysed.The interaction between LDm larvae,fertilized LDm female,unfertilized LDm female,LDm male and the natural enemy is investigated.In order to clarify the characteristics of the proposed deterministic fractional order model,the analysis of existence,uniqueness,non-negativity and boundedness of the solutions of the proposed fractional-order model are examined.In addition,some sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the local and global stability of equilibrium points.The occurrence of local bifurcation near the equilibrium points is investigated with the help of Sotomayor’s theorem.Numerical simulations are conducted to illustrate the properties of the proposed fractional order model with respect to the intrinsic growth rate of the LDm larvae,natural enemy’s mortality rate,predation rate,sex pheromone trap parameter,fractional order and environmental noise.The impact of mating disruption on lesser date moth is demonstrated.also,a numerical approximation method is developed for the proposed stochastic fractional-order model.

Tracking load changes in a pressurized water reactor(PWR)with the help of an efficient core power control scheme in a nuclear power station is very important.The reason is that it is challenging to maintain a stable core power according to the reference value within an acceptable tolerance for the safety of PWR.To overcome the uncertainties,a non-integer-based fractional order control method is demonstrated to control the core power of PWR.The available dynamic model of the reactor core is used in this analysis.Core power is controlled using a modified state feedback approach with a non-integer integral scheme through two different approximations,CRONE(Commande Robuste d’Ordre Non Entier,meaning Non-integer orderRobust Control)and FOmCON(non-integer order modeling and control).Simulation results are produced using mATLAB■program.Both non-integer results are compared with an integer order PI(Proportional Integral)algorithm to justify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.Sate-spacemodel Core power control Non-integer control Pressurized water reactor PI controller CRONE FOmCON.

Antibacterial Activity of Silver Nanoparticles Using Salvia officinalis Extract on Some Pathogenic Bacteria

This study included evaluation for the effects of green synthetic nanoparticles of Salvia officinalis aqueous leaf extract loaded with silver nitrate on antibacterial activity. Green synthetic nanoparticles were synthesized by mixing the plant extract with different AgNO3 concentrations (1 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.75 mm, and 2 mm) then they were detected by color changing and UV visible spectroscopy, which gave indication for the creation of silver nanoparticles. A characteristic and definite surface plasmon resonance (SPR) band for silver nanoparticles was obtained at around 433 nm. The SPR peak of silver nanoparticles extreme peak intensity was obtained at 1.75 mm of AgNO3. Atomic Force microscopy analysis was used to characterize silver nanoparticles which declared that the shape of green synthetic nanoparticles had different average size depending on sliver concentrations. Since it was observed that the shape and size of green synthetic nanoparticles were concentrations dependent (89.69 nm, 80.94 nm, 76.98 nm and 60.28 nm) respectively for AgNO3 concentrations tested (1 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.75 mm and 2 mm). The antibacterial activity of green synthetic sliver nanoparticles was studied for all G+ve and G-ve selected isolates (Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus heamolytics, Streptococcus pnemoniae, Enterococcus faecalis) and others G-ve bacterial isolates (Escherichi coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and the result showed that different green synthetic nanoparticles concentrations (1, 1.5, 1.75, 2 mm) have the ability to inhibit all bacterial isolates with varying zones of inhibition higher than the inhibition observed by ready to use sliver nanoparticles. minimum inhibitory concentrations (mIC) of green synthetic nanoparticles were obtained in concentration of (31, 27, 23 and 16 μm/mL) for G+ve (S. auerus) and (187, 125, 125, 109 μm/mL) for G-ve (E. coli) at (1, 1.5, 1.75, 2 mm) respectively. A chemically prepared carbon was synthesized from date palm leaflets via sulphuric acid carbonization at 160℃. Adsorption of ciprofloxacin （CIP） from aqueous solution was investigated in terms of time, pH, concentration, temperature and adsorbent status （wet and dry）. The equilibrium time was found to be 48 hr. The adsorption rate was enhanced by raising the temperature for both adsorbents, with adsorption data fitting a pseudo second-order model well. The activation energy, Ea, was found to be 17 kJ/mol, indicating a diffusion-controlled, physical adsorption process. The maximum adsorption was found at initial pH 6. The wet adsorbent showed faster removal with higher uptake than the dry adsorbent, with increased performance as temperature increased （25--45℃）. The equilibrium data were found to fit the Langmuir model better than the Freundlich model. The thermodynamic parameters showed that the adsorption process is spontaneous and endothermic. The adsorption mechanism is mainly related to cation exchange and hydrogen bonding.

Traditionally medicinal plants are used for its potential chemotherapeutic action and for safety upon the continued use of these plants.Achillea millefolium(Am)is an ancient herb which is used to treat wounds,headaches,disorder in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary,pain,and inflammation.This study was aimed to investigate the biochemical parameter of antimutagenic methanolic extract for Am in vivo.Plant extract together with mTX decreased the damage caused by the drug on the concentrations of total cholesterol and triglycerides(160.3±2.26 and 108.7±2.71),significant increase in total protein concentration(8.51±0.17,9.46±0.19 and 10.8±2.71 g\dL)for 100 and 200 mg\kg was observed.also plant extracts counteract the damage caused by drug through the reduction for both creatinin and albumin concentrations to 1.57±0.03 mg\dL and 4.56±0.09 g\dL,respectively.On enzymatic level,the results of interactions indicated the ability of plant to modulating harmful effects of the drug(57.1±1.3,130±3.1 and 111.1±2.1 U\L)for GOT,GPT and alP,respectively.On the other hand,the plant possesses the ability to enhance the concentrations of all immunoglobulin(Igm,IgA and IgG)in the two doses tested.Therefore,the results of this study indicate the antimutagenic potential of Am extract and encouraging its consumption with mTX as one of the promising therapies.

AIm: To assess how ascites and alpha-fetoprotein(AFP) added to the Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer(BCLC) staging predict hepatocellular carcinoma survival.mETHODS: The presence of underlying cirrhosis, ascites and encephalopathy, Child-Turcotte-Pugh(CTP) score, the number of nodules, and the maximum diameter of the largest nodule were determined at diagnosis for 1060 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma at a tertiary referral center for liver disease in Egypt. Demographic information, etiology of liver disease, and biochemical data(including serum bilirubin, albumin, international normalized ratio, alanine and aspartate aminotransferases, and AFP) were evaluated. Staging of the tumor was determined at the time of diagnosis using the BCLC staging system; 496 patients were stage A and 564 patients were stage B. Patients with mild ascites on initial ultrasound, computed tomography, or clinical examination, and who had a CTP score ≤ 9 were included in this analysis. all patients received therapy according to the recommended treatment based on the BCLC stage, and were monitored from the time of diagnosis to the date of death or date of data collection. The effect of the presence of ascites and AFP level on survival was analyzed.RESULTS:At the time the data were censored,123/496(24.8%)and 218/564(38.6%)patients with BCLC stages A and B,respectively,had died.Overall mean survival of the BCLC A and B patients during a three-year follow-up period was 31 mo[95%confidence interval(95%CI):29.7-32.3]and 22.7mo(95%CI:20.7-24.8),respectively.The presenceof ascites,multiple focal lesions,large tumor size,AFP level and CTP score were independent predictors of survival for the included patients on multivariate analysis(Pmong stage A patients,18%had ascites,33%had AFP≥200 ng/m L,and 8%had both.Their median survival in the presence of ascites was shorter if AFP was≥200 ng/m L(19 mo vs 24 mo),and in the absence of ascites,patients with AFP≥200 ng/m L had a shorter survival(28mo vs 39 mo).For stage B patients,survival for the

In this paper, some properties of the positive definite solutions for the nonlinear system of matrix equations X + A*Y-nA = I, Y + B*X-mB = I are derived. As a matter of fact, an effective iterative method to obtain the positive definite solutions of the system is established. These solutions are based on the convergence of monotone sequences of positive definite matrices. moreover, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the positive definite solutions are obtained. Finally, some numerical results are given.

Hydration characteristics of Portland cement blended with class F fly ash in the presence of two different types of superplasticizers, namely sodium lignosulphonate (LS) and naphthalene sulphonate-formaldehyde condensate (NSF) was studied using different experimental techniques. Superplasticized blended Portland cement pastes were prepared using the values of standard water of consistency with different additions of each types of superplasticizers used. Pastes were hydrated for different time intervals under normal curing conditions. The results indicate that both of superplasticizers increase the workability and reduce the standard water of consistency. This results in an improvement in the mechanical properties of the superplasticized blended cement pastes at all ages of the hydration-hardening process. Naphthalene sulphonate-formaldehyde condensate was found to has the higher efficiency in improving the mechanical properties of the hardened pastes than that of sodium lignosulphonate superplasticizer.

In this editorial,we discuss the article in the World Journal of Gastroenterology.The article conducts a meta-analysis of the diagnostic accuracy of the urea breath test(UBT),a non-invasive method for detecting Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection in humans.It is based on radionuclide-labeled urea.Various methods,both invasive and non-invasive,are available for diagnosing H.pylori infection,inclu-ding endoscopy with biopsy,serology for immunoglobulin titers,stool antigen analysis,and UBT.Several guidelines recommend UBTs as the primary choice for diagnosing H.pylori infection and for reexamining after eradication therapy.It is used to be the first choice non-invasive test due to their high accuracy,specificity,rapid results,and simplicity.moreover,its performance remains unaffected by the distribution of H.pylori in the stomach,allowing a high flow of patients to be tested.Despite its widespread use,the performance characteristics of UBT have been inconsistently described and remain incompletely defined.There are two UBTs available with Food and Drug Administration approval:The 13C and 14C tests.Both tests are affordable and can provide real-time results.Physicians may prefer the 13C test because it is non-radioactive,compared to 14C which uses a radioactive isotope,especially in young children and pregnant women.although there was heterogeneity among the studies regarding the diagnostic accuracy of both UBTs,13C-UBT consistently outperforms the 14C-UBT.This makes the 13C-UBT the preferred diagnostic approach.Furthermore,the provided findings of the meta-analysis emphasize the significance of precise considerations when choosing urea dosage,assessment timing,and measurement techniques for both the 13C-UBT and 14C-UBT,to enhance diagnostic precision.
