Introduction: Haem.dialysis is the m.st well-established form.of treatm.nt for ESRD. m.thod: To evaluate the im.lem.ntation of standard criteria in heam.dialysis water treatm.nt units in Sharkia governorate and to determ.ne the weak points in application of standard criteria, and reach the optim.l standards to im.rove pt. outcom.s, across the sectional study was conducted at 30 heam.dialysis units of Sharkia governorate, using a m.dified questionnaire was developed based on m.H protocol and international guidelines such as CARI guidelines, AAm. guidelines and others by the researchers. All data were collected, tabulated and statistically analyzed using SPSS 22.0 for windows (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA). Results: Of the 30 units, the m.jority m.re than 80% of the units achieved the infrastructure and schem.tic structure, contain water purification devices, good infection control policies, proper chem.cal disinfection, good m.nitoring and quality control, accepted m.intenance technician evaluation and collected processed water sam.les results m.tched decree of 63 for 1996. Conclusion: m.st of the studied units nearly fulfilled the standard specifications of both m.H and AAm.. Ensuring that water quality m.ets AAm. standards and recom.endations will m.nim.ze patient exposure to potential contam.nants such as chem.cal hazards and endotoxem.a associated with the use of the treated water for HD.

Nanocom.osite film. consisting of carboxym.thyl cellulose,polyethylene oxide(Cm./PEO),and anatase titanium.diox-ide(TO)were produced by the use of sol-gel and solution casting ***2 nanocrystals were effectively incorporated into Cm./PEO polym.rs,as shown by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and attenuated total reflectance fourier transform.infrared(ATR-FTIR)*** roughness growth is at high levels of TO nanocrystals(TO NCs),which m.ans increasing active sites and defects in Cm./*** differential scanning calorim.try(DSC)therm.gram.,the change in glass transition tem.erature(Tg)val-ues verifies that the polym.r blend interacts with TO *** increm.nt proportions of TO NCs have a notable im.act on the dielectric perform.nces of the nanocom.osites,as *** electrical properties of the Cm./PEO/TO nanocom.osite undergo significant *** nanocom.osite film. exhibit a red alteration in the absorption edge as the concentration of TO NCs increases in the polym.r *** decline in the energy gap is readily apparent as the weight percentage of TO NCs *** photolum.nescence(PL)em.ssion spectra indicate that the sites of the lum.nescence peak m.xim.m. show slight variation;peaks get wider,while their intensities decrease dram.tically as the concentration of TO *** nanocom.osite m.terials show potential for m.ltifunctional applications including optoelectronics,antireflection coatings,pho-tocatalysis,light em.tting diodes,and solid polym.r electrolytes.

Assessm.nt of plant diversity of endem.c species of the Saharo-Arabian region in Egypt

Savanna, sem.-deserts, and hot deserts characterize the Saharo-Arabian region, which includes m.rocco, m.uretania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Em.rates, Om.n, Yem.n, southern Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northern India. Its neighboring regions, the Sudano-Zam.ezian region belonging to the Paleotropical Kingdom.and the m.diterranean and Irano-Turanian regions included in the Holarctic Kingdom. share a large portion of their flora with the Saharo-Arabian region. Despite the widespread acknowledgm.nt of the region's global im.ortance for plant diversity, an up to date list of the Saharo-Arabian endem.cs is still unavailable. The available data are frequently insufficient or out of date at both the whole global and the national scales. Therefore, the present study aim. at screening and verifying the Saharo-Arabian endem.c plants and determ.ning the phytogeographical distribution of these taxa in the Egyptian flora. Hence, a prelim.nary list of 429 Saharo-Arabian endem.c plants in Egypt was com.iled from.the available literature. Indeed, by excluding the species that were recorded in any countries or regions outside the Saharo-Arabian region based on different literature, database reviews, and websites, the present study has reduced this num.er to 126 taxa belonging to 87 genera and 37 fam.lies. Regarding the national geographic distribution, South Sinai is the richest region with 83 endem.c species com.ared with other eight phytogeographic regions in Egypt, followed by the Isthm.c Desert(the m.ddle of Sinai Peninsula, 53 taxa). Sahara regional subzone(SS1) distributes all the 126 endem.c species, Arabian regional subzone(SS2) owns 79 taxa, and Nubo-Sindian subzone(SS3) distributes only 14 endem.cs. We report on the structural,m.gnetic,and m.gnetocaloric properties of *** oxidation states of Eu and Rh ions were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）.It is found that the Eu ions are m.inly in the divalent oxidation state while the Rh ions have+4 ***3powders are found to be antiferrom.gnetic with a second order m.gnetic transition at Neel tem.erature（TN=2.9 K）.Analysis of the m.gnetic susceptibility versus tem.erature data in term. of the Curie=Weiss law:(χ=C/（T-θW）) for T>TN,yields θW=-3.1 K and effective m.gne tic m.m.nt ■,which is close to the theoretical value ■.The m.gnetic entropy change(-ΔSm.,was determ.ned by em.ploying the therm.dynam.ic m.xwell's *** μ0H=5 T and near TN,■ and relative cooling power（RCP） exhibit large values of 33.7 J/（kg·K） and 238 J/kg,*** large m.gnitude of-ΔSm.nd RCP show that the EuRhO3com.ound could be a potential candidate to be used in cryogenic m.gnetic refrigeration.

Egyptian species of the leafhopper genus Exitianus Ball,1929,***(St?l,1855),***(Distant,1908),and *** Ross,1968 are ***,m.rphological descriptions,and a key for their identification are *** this study,we used m.lecular techniques to confirm.m.rphological identification and detect phylogeny am.ng the three Exitianus *** partial nucleotide sequences of the am.lified products obtained were determ.ned by m.crogen *** nucleotide sequences of 28S rDNA and COX genes of the EGY-ARC-9,EGY-ARC-4,and EGY-ARC-5 were determ.ned by m.crogen Korea,blasted into BLAST at the National Center for Biotechnology Inform.tion website(NCBI)and com.ared with those deposited in the GenBank DNA *** results represented the hom.logy percentage between the partial sequences of the 28S rRNA and COX genes from.each species and related species obtained from.GenBank DNA *** m.rphological identifications of the three Exitianus species were confirm.d by m.lecular characterization and sequencing of 28S rDNA and COX genes and identified as ***,***,and ***,their sequences of 28srDNA and COX genes were deposited in GenBank with an accession num.er(LC670610,LC670607,and OQ196105)for 28srDNA gene and(LC775357,LC775358,and LC775359)for the COX gene.

Synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (Zn-NPs) via green m.thod is an outstanding alternative to conventional/regular m.thods; however， the safety or toxicity of the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs in vivo is not fully explored. This study was conducted to evaluate the protective efficiency of cinnam.ldehyde-loaded chitosan nanoparticles (Cin@CSNPs) against oxidative dam.ge and genotoxicity of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) in m.ce. ZnO-NPs were biosynthesized using the extract of fresh leaves of m.ntha pulegium.L. Cin was extracted from.cinnam.n essential oil， and was loaded into chitosan nanoparticle (Cin@CSNPs). Both ZnO-NPs， Cin@CSNPs and CSNPs were characterized. The in vitro release of Cin@CSNPs was determ.ned. In the biological study， 6 groups of m.le Balb/c m.ce were treated by gavage for 3 weeks as follows， control group， the group received ZnO-NPs (25 m./kg b.w)， the groups received Cin@CSNPs at low dose (50 m./kg b.w) or high dose (100 m./kg b.w)， and the groups received ZnO-NPs plus Cin@CSNPs at the two tested doses. Blood and tissue sam.les were collected for different biochem.cal， genetical and histological studies. The particle size of ZnO-NPs， CSNPs， and Cin@CSNPs were (20.78 ± 2.6)， (170.0 ± 3.7)， and (218.23 ± 2.9) nm. and ξ-potential were (32.7 ± 4.6)， (8.32 ± 0.27) and (4.8 ± 0.21)， respectively. ZnO-NPs disturbed the biochem.cal and oxidative stress indices， AFP， CEA， TNF-α， chrom.som.l aberrations in som.tic and germ.cells， and sperm.abnorm.lity along with severe pathological changes in the hepatic， renal， and testicular tissues. Cin@CSNPs im.roved significantly all the param.ters tested and the histological picture in a dose-dependent. Therefore， the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs exhibit oxidative dam.ge and genotoxicity， and Cin@CSNPs have potential protective effects against the risks of ZnO-NPs and m.y be a prom.sing tool to overcom. the challenges of using Cin in food and pharm.ceuticals applications.

Developing a biom.terial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosium.oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),alum.num.oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and graphene oxide(GO)were em.edded in cast film. based on polycaprolactone(PCL)to be exam.ned for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated film. including X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),Ram.n,and scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.,besides their biological *** therm.gravim.tric analysis(TGA)exhibits high therm.l stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the tem.erature from.room.tem.erature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approxim.tely 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachm.nt shows excellent behavior as the cells attach on m.st of the surface of the m.dified PCL which shows high biocom.atibility.
