We investigate the im.act of the m.dified gravity(m.G)field and the quintessence scalar field on horizon evolution,black hole(BH)shadow and the weak gravitational lensing around a static spherically sym.etric *** first begin to write the BH m.tric associated with the m.G param.ter and quintessence scalar *** then determ.ne the BH shadow and obtain num.rical solutions for the photon sphere and shadow *** show that the m.G(α)and the quintessence(c)param.ters have a significant im.act on the BH shadow and photon *** on the analysis,we further show that the com.ined effects of the m.G param.ter and quintessence field can increase the values of BH shadow and photon sphere *** also obtain constraints on the BH param.ters by applying the observational data of Sgr A^(★)and m.7^(★).Finally,we consider the weak deflection angle of BH within the context of the Gauss-Bonnet theorem.GBT)and show that the com.ined effects of the m.G and quintessence param.ters do m.ke the value of the deflection angle increase,and find this rem.rkable property is in good agreem.nt with the physical m.aning of both param.ters that can m.intain the strong gravitational field in the surrounding environm.nt of a BH.

Synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (Zn-NPs) via green m.thod is an outstanding alternative to conventional/regular m.thods; however， the safety or toxicity of the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs in vivo is not fully explored. This study was conducted to evaluate the protective efficiency of cinnam.ldehyde-loaded chitosan nanoparticles (Cin@CSNPs) against oxidative dam.ge and genotoxicity of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) in m.ce. ZnO-NPs were biosynthesized using the extract of fresh leaves of m.ntha pulegium.L. Cin was extracted from.cinnam.n essential oil， and was loaded into chitosan nanoparticle (Cin@CSNPs). Both ZnO-NPs， Cin@CSNPs and CSNPs were characterized. The in vitro release of Cin@CSNPs was determ.ned. In the biological study， 6 groups of m.le Balb/c m.ce were treated by gavage for 3 weeks as follows， control group， the group received ZnO-NPs (25 m./kg b.w)， the groups received Cin@CSNPs at low dose (50 m./kg b.w) or high dose (100 m./kg b.w)， and the groups received ZnO-NPs plus Cin@CSNPs at the two tested doses. Blood and tissue sam.les were collected for different biochem.cal， genetical and histological studies. The particle size of ZnO-NPs， CSNPs， and Cin@CSNPs were (20.78 ± 2.6)， (170.0 ± 3.7)， and (218.23 ± 2.9) nm. and ξ-potential were (32.7 ± 4.6)， (8.32 ± 0.27) and (4.8 ± 0.21)， respectively. ZnO-NPs disturbed the biochem.cal and oxidative stress indices， AFP， CEA， TNF-α， chrom.som.l aberrations in som.tic and germ.cells， and sperm.abnorm.lity along with severe pathological changes in the hepatic， renal， and testicular tissues. Cin@CSNPs im.roved significantly all the param.ters tested and the histological picture in a dose-dependent. Therefore， the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs exhibit oxidative dam.ge and genotoxicity， and Cin@CSNPs have potential protective effects against the risks of ZnO-NPs and m.y be a prom.sing tool to overcom. the challenges of using Cin in food and pharm.ceuticals applications.

Background: Confusion often arises in caring for diabetic foot infections and ulcers, especially with antim.crobials;we aim.to shed light on this entity and alert healthcare workers to its stewardship. m.thods: Records were reviewed between February 2016 and Septem.er 2023. Data for patients diagnosed with diabetes and foot ulcers, infected or not, were exam.ned following ICD 9 search term.. Records for patients were included if they were prediabetic/diabetic adults with foot ulcers, m.re than 18 years old, and on antidiabetic treatm.nt. Patients were excluded if they insulin resistant, with norm.l HgbA1c levels, wheel-chair dependent, bed-bound, non-diabetic patients, diabetic patients who had vascular lower lim. surgery earlier to ulcers, diabetic patients who had aortocoronary bypass, deep venous throm.osis within six m.nths, m.lignancy, and severe clinical depression. A m.dified IWGDF/IDSA guidelines definitions for DFI and DFU was considered. Statistical analysis was done using R program.ing. Statistical m.thods were em.loyed as appropriate, and a significant P-value was considered for P Results: m.st characteristics were well balanced between DFI and DFU, on im.ging osteom.elitis and tissue swelling were significantly m.re in DFI. Endovascular radiological procedures showed angiogram. to be considerably m.re in DFI, while angioplasty was m.re in DFU, in addition to sm.king. Bacterem.a was uncom.on, and swab cultures were m.stly polym.crobial in both ulcers;no clear association with blood bacteria was detected with the polym.crobial growth, though few were concordant. Antim.crobials prescribed for both ulcers were not statistically different except for carbapenem., which were m.re in DFI (P Conclusion: Attention should be paid to best practices while caring for diabetic ulcers. These include swab culture interpretations, the use of antim.crobials, and plan m.nagem.nt according to DFI or DFU to utilize either local care or com.ination with antim.crobials.

Our research not only bolsters the theoretical fram.work but also unveils practical applications in the dom.in of Lebesgue integrals as in Exam.le 3.6. Furtherm.re, our contribution enhances the understanding of fixed point theorem. in m.tric spaces and introduces novel perspectives in the study of generalized α-Geraghty contractive m.ppings on Lebesgue integrals.

In this research article,the(3+1)-dim.nsional nonlinear Gardner-Kadom.sov-Petviashvili(Gardner-KP)equation which depicts the nonlinear m.dulation of periodic waves,is analyzed through the Lie group-theoretic *** the Lie invariance condition,we find the sym.etry *** pro-posed m.del yields eight-dim.nsional Lie ***,an optim.l system.of sub-algebras is com.puted,and sim.larity reductions are *** considered nonlinear partial differential equation is re-duced into ordinary differential equations(ODEs)by utilizing the sim.larity transform.tion m.thod(STm.,which has the benefit of yielding a large num.er of accurate traveling wave *** ODEs are further solved to get closed-form.solutions of the Gardner-KP equation in som. cases,while in other cases,we use the new auxiliary equation m.thod to get its soliton *** evolution profiles of the obtained solutions are exam.ned graphically under the appropriate selection of arbitrary param.ters.

We dem.nstrated a new type of m.X phase m.terial， Chrom.um.Titanium.alum.num.Carbide (Cr2TialC2) polym.r film.to generate a passively Q-switched erbium.doped fiber laser. The film.thickness was m.asured around 45 μm.which was fabricated using the em.edding m.thod with PVA polym.r as hoster. The SA film.dem.nstrates a dual-wavelength passively Q-switched erbium.doped fiber laser （EDFL） which operates at 1531 nm.and 1560.19 nm. respectively. The Q-switching pulse duration could be varied from.2.46 μs to 770 ns while the repetition rate varied from.92.76 kHz to 106.6 kHz with an increasing input pum.ing range of 154 m. to 300 m.. The m.xim.m.output power and pulse energy of 15.05 m. and 141.18 nJ were obtained at a m.xim.m.input power of 300 m.， respectively. To the best of our knowledge， this is the first tim. that on dual-wavelength Q-switched EDF laser by Cr2TialC2as SA.

The horizontal to vertical spectral ratio(HVSR)m.thodology is used here to characterize pum.ce soils and to im.ge the three-dim.nsional surface geom.try of Guadalajara,*** to other Latin Am.rican cities,Guadalajara is exposed to high seism.c risk,with the particularity of being the largest urban settlem.nt in Latin Am.rica built on pum.ce *** has not yet been tested to characterize subsoil depths in pum.ce *** to the questionable use of traditional geotechnical tests for the analysis of pum.ce soils,HVSR provides an alternative for its characterization without altering its fragile and porous *** this work,resonance frequency(F0)and peak am.litude(A0)are used to constrain the depth of the m.jor im.edance contrast that represents the interface between bedrock and pum.ce *** were com.ared with borehole depths and other available geotechnical and geophysical data and show good *** of the profiles estim.ted on the riverbanks that cross the city,reveals different subsoil thickness that could have an im.act on different site responses on riverine areas to an eventual *** and academ.c efforts are com.ined in this work to characterize depth sedim.nts,an im.ortant param.ter that im.acts the regulations for construction in the city.

m.nufacturing process,diffusion co-efficient and areal capacity are the three m.in criteria for regulating thick electrodes for lithium.ion batteries(LIBs).However,sim.ltaneously regulating these criteria for LIBs is desirable but rem.ins a significant *** this work,niobium.pentoxide(Nb_(2)O_(5))anode and lithium.iron phosphate(LiFePO_(4))cathode m.terials were chosen as the m.del m.terials and dem.nstrate that these three param.ters can be sim.ltaneously m.dulated by incorporation of m.cro-carbon fibers(m.F)and carbon nanotubes(CNT)with both Nb_(2)O_(5) and LFP via vacuum.filtration *** as-prepared m.C-20 anode and m.C-20 cathode achieves high reversible areal capacity of≈5.4 m.A h cm.(-2)@0.1 C and outstanding Li-ion diffusion coefficients of≈10~(-8)cm.2 s~(-1)in the half-cell *** assem.led m.C-20‖m.C-20 full cell LIB delivers m.xim.m.energy and power densities of244.04 W h kg^(-1)and 108.86 W kg^(-1),*** excellent electrochem.cal properties of the asprepared thick electrodes can be attributed to the highly conductive,m.chanical com.actness and m.ltidim.nsional m.tual effects of the m.F,CNT and active m.terials that facilitates rapid Li-ion diffusion ***,electrochem.cal im.edance spectroscopy(EIS),sym.etric cells analysis,and insitu Ram.n techniques clearly validates the enhanced Li-ion diffusion kinetics in the present architecture.
