Investigation of ageing effects on the electrical properties of polyaniline/silver nanocomposites

Polyaniline（PANI）/Ag nanocomposites, synthesized by incorporation of separately prepared silver nanoparticles in 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone（NMP） solution of PANI, have been aged at the accelerated temperature of 120℃ to simulate a storage period of 2 years at 25℃. The accelerated ageing of these materials is done by using the activation energy calculated from data collected using heat flow calorimetry （HFC）. The impedance spectroscopic studies of NMP plasticized aged nanocomposite films suggest a microphase separation into reduced and oxidized repeat units. There is crosslinking of the lPANI films during ageing thereby obstructing the charge transfer between PANI chains and silver nanoparticles. As a result, the resistivity is increased.

Face image analysis is one among several important cues in computer *** the last five decades,methods for face analysis have received immense attention due to large scale applications in various face analysis *** parsing strongly benefits various human face image analysis tasks inducing face pose *** this paper we propose a 3D head pose estimation framework developed through a prior end to end deep face parsing *** have developed an end to end face parts segmentation framework through deep convolutional neural networks(DCNNs).For training a deep face parts parsing model,we label face images for seven different classes,including eyes,brows,nose,hair,mouth,skin,and *** extract features from gray scale images by using *** train a classifier using the extracted *** use the probabilistic classification method to produce gray scale images in the form of probability maps for each dense semantic *** use a next stage of DCNNs and extract features from grayscale images created as probability maps during the segmentation *** assess the performance of our newly proposed model on four standard head pose datasets,including Pointing’04,Annotated Facial Landmarks in the Wild(AFLW),Boston University(BU),and ICT-3DHP,obtaining superior results as compared to previous results.

Saudi Arabia every year receives more than two million Muslims from all over the world to perform the Hajj, the Muslim pilgrimage to Makkah. It must take place during a specific period of the year in a specific and limited space. In spite of the effort government agencies devote to this event, a variety of disasters usually take place each year. As the number of pilgrims is increasing every year the problem is becoming an alarming one. More and more resources are allocated to eliminate the occurrence of such disasters. More than one strategy has been proposed to make the Hajj as safe as possible. Knowing that the problem is very complex as it involves numerous actors, and many entangled criteria and elements, the question is which strategy is best. This paper presents the Analytic Network Process as a sound methodology for structuring the Hajj problem by designing an analytical model to find which strategy to focus on to make the pilgrimage as safe as possible.

Elemental analysis, Fourier transform infrared （FTIR）, 1H-NMR, fluorescence spectroscopy, and surface tension methods have been used to characterize the molecular structure and the aggregation behaviors of two asphaltenic fractions derived, respectively, from an Alge- rian petroleum well and a corresponding storage tank deposit. Elemental analysis, FTIR, ~H-NMR, and fluores- cence spectroscopy were used to investigate the chemical composition and structural parameters of asphaltenes, while the surface tension method was used to measure the critical micelle concentration （CMC） in organic solvents with different solubility parameters and polarities in order to characterize the asphaltenes＇ aggregation behaviors. Results show that the unstable asphaltenes fraction extracted from the storage tank deposit possesses a higher polarity （higher heteroatoms content） and a lower aro- maticity than stable asphaltenes from the petroleum well. The CMC results indicate that asphaltenes with high polarity and low aromaticity have a high solubility in polar solvents such as nitrobenzene, whereas asphaltenes with low polarity and high aromaticity are more soluble in solvents with weak polarity, like toluene. It is concludedthat the difference of structure of asphaltene samples and polarity of solvents can lead to difference of aggregation behaviors.

Due to the proliferation of internet-enabled smartphones,many people,particularly young people in Arabic society,have widely adopted social media platforms as a primary means of communication,interaction and friendship *** technological advances in smartphones and communication have enabled young people to keep in touch and form huge social networks from all over the ***,such networks expose young people to cyberbullying and offen-sive content that puts their safety and emotional well-being at serious ***,many solutions have been proposed to automatically detect cyberbully-ing,most of the existing solutions have been designed for English speaking *** morphologically rich languages-such as the Arabic language-lead to data sparsity ***,render solutions developed for another language are ineffective once applied to the Arabic language *** this end,this study focuses on improving the efﬁcacy of the existing cyberbullying detection models for Arabic content by designing and developing a Consensus-based Ensemble Cyberbullying Detection Model.A diverse set of heterogeneous classiﬁers from the traditional machine and deep learning technique have been trained using Arabic cyberbullying labeled dataset collected fromﬁve different *** outputs of the selected classiﬁers are combined using consensus-based decision-making in which the F1-Score of each classiﬁer was used to rank the classiﬁ***,the Sigmoid function,which can reproduce human-like decision making,is used to infer theﬁnal *** outcomes show the efﬁcacy of the proposed model comparing to the other studied classiﬁ*** overall improvement gained by the proposed model reaches 1.3%comparing with the best trained classiﬁ*** its effectiveness for Arabic language content,the proposed model can be generalized to improve cyberbullying detection in other languages.

Isoprenoid and branched glycerol dialkyl glycerol tetraethers （GDGTs） lipids were studied in flooded and non-flooded paddy soil in Wuhan, central China, to examine the response of the GDGTs distribution to the soil flooding. Samples were collected before and after the soil flooding in four specific months. Both core （CL） and intact polar （IPL） GDGTs were quantified. Increase in the abundance of archaeol and caldarchaeol may be indicative of the occurrence of methanogens in the flooded soil. A negative correlation was observed between the ratio of IPL branched GDGT-IIa to GDGT-Ia and the soil pH. The rise of the soil pH in the acid soil is known to be controlled by the redox conditions resulting from flooding. Thus, the branched GDGTs distribution may be controlled by the water content in the paddy soil. In addition, we suggest that the anoxic conditions resulting from flooding may also control the abundance of branched GDGTs relative to crenarchaeol, which in turn results in the increase of branched and isoprenoidal tetraethers （BIT） values, the index for the terrestrial input to the marine sediments.

This paper presents a handwritten document recognition system based on the convolutional neural network *** today’s world,handwritten document recognition is rapidly attaining the attention of researchers due to its promising behavior as assisting technology for visually impaired *** technology is also helpful for the automatic data entry *** the proposed systemprepared a dataset of English language handwritten character *** proposed system has been trained for the large set of sample data and tested on the sample images of user-defined handwritten *** this research,multiple experiments get very worthy recognition *** proposed systemwill first performimage pre-processing stages to prepare data for training using a convolutional neural *** this processing,the input document is segmented using line,word and character *** proposed system get the accuracy during the character segmentation up to 86%.Then these segmented characters are sent to a convolutional neural network for their *** recognition and segmentation technique proposed in this paper is providing the most acceptable accurate results on a given *** proposed work approaches to the accuracy of the result during convolutional neural network training up to 93%,and for validation that accuracy slightly decreases with 90.42%.

A Brief Study on the Ignition of the Non-Thermal Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Jet from a Double Dielectric Barrier Configured Plasma Pencil

To understand the self sustained propagation of the plasma jet/bullet in air under atmospheric pressure, the ignition of the plasma jet/bullet, the plasma jet/bullet ignition point in the plasma pencil, the formation time and the formation criteria from a dielectric barrier configured plasma pencil were investigated in this study. The results were confirmed by comparing these results with the plasma jet ignition process in the plasma pencil without a dielectric barrier. Electrical, optical, and imaging techniques were used to study the formation of the plasma jet from the ignition of discharge in a double dielectric barrier configured plasma pencil. The investigation results show that the plasma jet forms at the outlet of the plasma pencil as a donut shaped discharge front because of the electric field line along the outlet＇s surface. It is shown that the required time for the formation of the plasma jet changes with the input voltage of the discharge. The input power calculation for the gap discharge and for the whole system shows that 56% of the average input power is used by the first gap discharge. The estimated electron density inside the gap discharge is in the order of 1011 cm^-3. If helium is used as a feeding gas, a minimum 1.48× 10^-8 C charge is required per pulse in the gap discharge to generate a plasma jet.
