The primary cesarean section rate is defined as the percentage of cesarean deliveries out of all births to women who have not had a previous cesarean delivery. Cesarean section rates steadily increased during the last two decades due to various indications. This is a retrospective study conducted at Dubai Hospital at DHA, Dubai UAE from January 2017 to December 2017, the data were collected using special data collection sheet and analyzed by Statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The rate of primary cesarean section is 15.4% with fetal distress being the most common cause primary cesarean section. 66% of the performed cases were primigravida. 85% were done as emergency cases. Women aged 36 - 40 years were the common age group among the studied cases. Primary cesarean sections are the driving force behind the overall rate of cesarean sections and cause an increase in morbidity in future pregnancies.

Olefin epoxidation is an essential transformation and arouses great interest among the scientific community for the key role of epoxide in the chemical *** methods suffer from harmful oxidants and require harsh operating conditions and complex separation ***-epoxidation through bromine redox reactions is an eco-friendly ***,the lack of efficient electrodes always limits the selectivity of epoxidation and results in massive energy ***,we found that GF-CoS_(2)/CoS heterostructures anchored on graphite felt(GF-CoS_(2)/CoS)can efficiently facilitate the generation of bromine redox species on the *** synergistic cooperation between the bromine redox species and oxygen redox species(generated on a graphite rod cathode)can establish a benign electro-epoxidation system for olefin substrates in an ambient *** the optimized reaction conditions,the epoxidation of styrene can achieve a yield of 97% at 30 mA cm^(-2).Importantly,the applied voltage(4-5 V)is roughly half of the Pt-based electrode system(7.8-9.3 V),hence,saving half of the *** demonstrated that our proposed strategy could also be applied to other *** of the simple,sustainable,and economic advantages of the epoxidation process,we believe this strategy is highly desirable for technical applications.

Background Thalassemia is known as the commonest monogenic disorder with an imbalanced rate of globin chains production of adult hemoglobin. Despite the available information about the thalassemia etiology, its phenotype varies from each patient to another. This study aimed to evaluate the hematological parameters of patients with the same -α3.7 homozygote and heterozygote genotypes to amend screening *** In this observational study, we evaluated 1301 thalassemia suspected patients who referred to the Thalassemia and Hemoglobinopathy Research Center of Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences, Khuzestan, Iran during 2014-2016. According to the genotyping studies, patients divided into 2 groups with -α3.7/αα (n = 646) and -α3.7/-α3.7 (n = 181) genotypes. Thereafter, distribution of hematological parameters evaluated in both *** The mean age in heterozygous and homozygous groups was 25.7±4.5 and 26±4.4 years old, respectively. This study deals with the investigation of Nd:YAG laser-assisted ablation and plasma formation of Ti at irradiance of 0.85 GW cm-2 under Ar and Ne environment at various pressures ranging from 10-120 ***-induced breakdown spectroscopy is used to evaluate plasma parameters,whereas quartz crystal microbalance is used for ablation yield *** crater depth is evaluated by optical *** surface features are explored by scanning electron microscope(SEM) analysis and the micro-hardness is measured by a Vickers hardness *** is observed that the plasma parameters are higher in Ar than in Ne,and are strongly correlated with the ablation yield,ablation depth,surface features and hardness of laser-ablated *** parameters increase with increasing the pressure of environmental gases,attain their maxima at 40 Torr for Ar and at 60 Torr for ***,they show a decreasing trend up till a maximum pressure of 120 *** maximum value of the electron temperature(Te) is5480 K,number density(ne) is 1.46 × 1018 cm-3,ablation depth is 184 μm,ablation yield is3.9 × 1015 atoms/pulse and hardness is 300 HV in the case of Ar *** analysis reveals the growth of surface features,such as cones,ridges and pores,whose appearance is more distinct in Ar than Ne and is attributed to temperature,pressure and density gradients along with recoil pressure of the Ti plasma.

Cadastral maps are an important component of land administration in most countries. In virtually all developed countries, the needs of computerized land and geographic information systems (LIS/GIS) has given urgent impetus to computerizing cadastral maps and creating digital cadastral data bases (DCDB). This process is creating many institutional, legal, technical and administrative problems. This desire to establish DCDBs is being given increased impetus due to a new range of enabling technologies such as satellite position fixing (GPS), improved spatial data collection techniques such as digital theodolites and “soft copy” photogrammetry, as well as a vast range of new information and communications technological tools, thus contributing to the advancement and keeping up with the great countries. This paper presents the problem of cadastral maps. The hitherto existing cadastre, consisting of paper maps and land registers, is now becoming insufficient. Its shortcomings force developments leading to its improvement. One of the ways is the creation of a Land Information System. A digital cadastral map is the main component of this system. The structure and information content of the map is presented, its differences from analogue maps are shown, and the process of map creation is described. A digital cadastral map can be the basis for additional thematic layers, successively converting it into a complex system for management of administrative units.

Microbiologically-induced concrete corrosion(MICC)refers to chemical reactions between biologically produced sulphuric acid and with hydration products in the hardened concrete paste,resulting in an early reduction of strength,deterioration,and very severe circumstances,structural *** paper explores the bactericidal characteristics of cementitious materials with surface coated with modified *** zeolite-polyurethane coating incorporated with silver was studied in environments inoculated with *** bacteria for 8 consecutive *** antibacterial characteristics were evaluated in terms of pH,optical density(OD),sulphate production and bacteria count to determine the effectiveness of the zeolite-polyurethane coatings in environments inoculated with *** bacteria producing the sulphuric *** results revealed that the samples incorporated with silver modified zeolites generally showed antibacterial performance(regardless of the zeolite type)compared with unmodified polyurethane *** was evaluated by the lack of bacteria attachment and the deformed microcolonies on the sample surface,lag in pH reduction,increase in OD,and sulphate *** silver zeolites gained their antibacterial performance from the release of silver ions(Ag^(+))when the sample comes into contact with aqueous *** results in the inhibition of cell functions of the bacteria and subsequently causes cell damage.
